Three Saves In Spite Of City's Efforts

As Abortion Mill Landlord And Police Turn Up The Heat On Rockford Pro-Lifers The Grace Of God Increases. Rockford October 29, 2010 - We don’t know why the Rockford police department seems to be working hand in hand with the abortion mill landlord but pro-lifers experienced these double standards again.

More vulgar signs were put up by Rockford’s abortion mill on public property this morning as a way to harass the mobile ultrasound motor home.  The signs the abortion mill put up are not held or attended by anyone but when pro-lifers left a sign unattended the police immediately jumped on them and said that every pro-life sign must be hand held – the same does not apply to the abortion mill even on public property.

Then a pro-lifer parked his car in a public parking space behind a vehicle owned by the mill landlord that had signs attacking the mobile ultrasound on it.  Within minutes the abortion mill landlord barked his orders to a police officer who then told the pro-lifer to move his car immediately with the result being the vulgar sign would continue to be visible to any mother considering using the mobile ultrasound.

Later this morning, after all the mothers had entered the abortion mill, a truck was allowed to park in the public parking spot where the pro-lifers vehicle had been and the police said nothing.

We don’t know why there seems to be two sets of laws, one for pro-lifers and one for the abortion mill but some have guessed that there is a lingering resentment from the city of Rockford over pro-lifers gaining a permit for the mobile ultrasound to come to our city.

One of the saddest notes this morning was a young woman who walked into the abortion mill carrying a sign that read, "I regret being born."   The pro-life sidewalk counselors told her they don’t regret she was born and that God loves her and she is loved by the people standing on the sidewalks this morning.  We offered her help and support but the young woman looked heartbroken as she walked into a building where her child would be killed.  She left the sign she was carrying at the door of the abortion mill.

Where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: The grace of our Lord was poured out abundantly, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.  Romans 5 / Timothy 1

It seems that the more dirty tricks this abortion mill attempts and the more obstacles put in the way of pro-lifers offering help to mothers, the more God’s grace takes over and does what needs to be done to save babies lives.

Again this week the mobile ultra-sound was used by a young mother!  The life saving offer of a free ultrasound is beginning to make a huge difference in Rockford!

Two other mothers chose life this morning at the Rockford abortion mill.  It was truly a beautiful thing to see the grace of God working in the hearts of these mothers who were open to the truth and love of the child within them.

Why Vote Pro-Life?

From Our Pastor’s Desk:  Politics are heating up this election season. Many people are fed up with the way our Representatives have been representing the people; and for good reason. The recession has done a number on our economy, particularly here in Freeport. The temptation would be to vote totally from the pocketbook to the opposition of morals. But this builds for an unjust society.

So what does abortion have to do with us? "What one woman decides does not seem to effect me. It’s her business" some may say. Or is it? In fact it effects us more than we think. Since Roe v. Wade (1973) women have had the ability to abort any child for whatever reason. This means that anybody born since that time could have been aborted. Who are these people? They are our sons and daughters, our grandsons and granddaughters, brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, cousins and friends and yes even our aunts and uncles. They are the people in our lives. How many people do you know were born in this time frame? Think about it for a second. It is estimated that one third of that population has been killed through abortion. One Third! How can we imagine that none of these were our sons and daughters, our grandsons and granddaughters, brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, cousins and friends and yes even our aunts and uncles.

Even if we think we have survived the curse of abortion, we still have to wonder about the spouses of those from that generation. I have to ask myself about the future spouse of my nieces and nephews. God created one for them. Did they get aborted? Are they going to wonder around looking for the one God intended for them, only to find "they [are] no more"? (Mt2:18)

In the end, when my kin sees me after this life, how can I look them in the eye and tell them that I thought this or that issue was more important? I just can’t do it. Moreover; how can I vote for somebody who although may think it is immoral, yet also thinks it is OK for our sons and daughters, our grandsons and granddaughters, brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, cousins and friends and yes even our aunts and uncles to be aborted.
If there is anybody who has been directly involved in an abortion, I invite you to be reconciled with God though confession. Our Lord Jesus wants to shower you with His love. What you have done is forgivable. It is a scary step to take, but trying to simply forget it only makes the pain worse. Let Jesus heal you, so that you can be reconciled with your child as well. Know also that I am praying for you. God Bless you!

The Root Cause Of Evil At Rockford's Abortion Mill

The Seven Deadly Sins Are The Root Cause Of Evil At Rockford’s Abortion Mill
By contrast, in the Seven Virtues, we have hope of ending the killing of children in Rockford

The killing of a child in the womb doesn’t just happen.  It takes a society that has turned its back on goodness, virtue, and love and has placed what are called the seven deadly sins as the driving force behind its relationships between people.

"Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour."  1 Peter 5:8-11

In many ways a society must commit a spiritual abortion of all that is good and holy before it can commit thousands of physical abortions of God’s precious infants in the womb.  It is through the seven deadly sins that our society has spiritually aborted authentic love for God and neighbor.

"Then it goes and takes with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there.  And the final condition of that man is worse than the first."  Matthew 12:45

When the seven deadly sins run rampant in a society, not only does it result in the deaths of the physical lives of the poor and defenseless such as the 50,000 babies murdered by abortion in Rockford, but is also can result in the spiritual deaths for all eternity for those who do not battle these deadly sins in their own lives and in their community.

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.  Ephesians 6:10

In order to stand firm against the sins that destroy the souls of men and communities, we must "put on the armor of God" which are those virtues that directly counter the seven deadly sins.

Below we will take a brief look at how the seven deadly sins have turned Rockford into a community that has murdered over 50,000 of its own children at an abortion mill that mocks and ridicules God and life.

We will also look at the virtues that we need to live and cultivate if we hope to turn this culture of death into a civilization of life and love.

SIN: 1. Pride – Pride is the disorder in which we place our own desires above the love we owe God and neighbor.  Pride cast Lucifer out of heaven; the sin of pride separated Adam and Eve from God, and pride tells us we have the "right to choose" to kill our own children.

VIRTUE: Humility - Humility is that poverty of spirit that understands that all that we are and all that we have comes from God.  Humility also understands that every other person has a right to life and is loved by God.

SIN: 2. Envy - Envy is the disordered desire for things of this world and displeasure at the good of another.  Envy can even cause a person to see a child in the womb as an obstacle to obtaining the material things he is striving for. Envy of and for the things of this world, coupled with the encouragement of Rockford’s abortion mill, has resulted in the killing of our own children as we strive after material goods.

VIRTUE: Kindness - When we are kind persons, we look to the good of others before our own desires.  We as pro-lifers need to show the deepest kindness to mothers, fathers, and abortion mill workers in the hopes of showing them a love and care they may be missing in their lives.

SIN: 3. Gluttony – Gluttony is an unregulated desire and use of created things. Gluttony is an abuse of the legitimate pleasures God has attached to the good things of this earth. Gluttony results in loss of self-control, health, dulls the mind, and fosters a spirit of laziness, and impurity.  Rockford’s abortion mill promotes gluttony of the most perverse kind – the uncontrolled use of our God-given creative abilities to murder the person who has been brought into being.

VIRTUE: Abstinence - Abstinence allows a person to save the beautiful God-given gift of physical love for marriage as God created it for.  Abstinence allows a person to grow in mature love, self-control, and a real relationship with God and other people.  Abstinence truly makes us free persons.

SIN: 4. Lust - Lust is a disordered use of the beautiful gift of marital love either in thought, word, or deed. Lust defiles both the body and the soul. Scripture tells us nothing unclean shall enter Heaven. When not battled against in the heart and soul, lust can lead to the death of a child and very possibly a soul at Rockford’s abortion mill.

VIRTUE: Chastity - Chastity means the successful integration of sexuality within the person and the inner unity of the person as both a bodily and spiritual being.  Chastity includes an apprenticeship in self-mastery which is a training in human freedom. The alternative is clear: either man governs his passions and finds peace, or he lets himself be dominated by them and becomes unhappy.

SIN: 5. Anger - Anger is an unjust feeling of resentment in our hearts toward another brought on by a real or imagined offense. Unjust anger is very self-destructive and is usually accompanied by a desire to strike back or for vengeance.  The killing of children at Rockford’s abortion mill has brought about some of the most irrational and angry public attacks against God, Christians, and innocent children in the womb this city has ever experienced.  Abortion is hatred and anger directed toward women and children.

VIRTUE: Patience – The word “patience” is derived from the Latin word pati, which means to suffer, to endure, to bear. Christians by patience have helped play a part in the saving of countless children’s lives from the abortionists’ hands in Rockford.  A continued patient attitude and willingness to stand for countless hours in public for the unborn facing death will continue to bear much goodness for Christ and life in Rockford.

SIN: 6. Greed - Greed is a disordered love for worldly goods. This sin places material things before our love and trust in God and before our love and care for our neighbor.  The greed of the Rockford abortion mill has resulted in the deaths of tens of thousands of babies.  Those associated with the abortion mill love money more than human life.  Greed in Rockford kills children every week.

VIRTUE: Generosity - The open and generous hearts of pro-life Christians have helped mothers choose life for over 25 years at Rockford’s abortion mill.  Through the Pregnancy Care Center, sidewalk counselors, baby showers, and the generous help of Christians, many mothers have chosen life.  The generosity of Christians directly counters the greed of the Rockford abortion establishment.

SIN: 7. Sloth - Sloth is spiritual laziness which involves a neglect of prayer, charity, and spiritual things. A slothful person refuses to put forth effort or co-operate with the grace God has given him.  Sloth has resulted in many people’s silence and inaction concerning the mass murder of God’s children at Rockford’s abortion mill.

VIRTUE: Diligence – A zealous and careful nature in one’s actions and work.  Decisive work ethic. Steadfastness in belief. Fortitude and the capability of not giving up.  Many Rockford Christians have been diligent in praying daily for an end to abortion, standing in public for an end to the killing, and many of you have been diligent in promoting life and love in countless other ways.  We will never give up until the killing of God’s precious infants at the Northern Illinois Women’s Center has ended.

It is by the path of love, which is charity that God draws near to man and man to God. But where charity is not found, God cannot dwell. If, then, we possess charity, we possess God, for "God is Charity" — St. Albert the Great

The Rockford abortion mill with its efficient killing of innocent children and its public attacks on God did not just appear one day in the heart of our city.  It has come into existence by a long process of sin and neglect of God that has affected the hearts and minds of the people of Rockford, all of us.  Primarily, these seven deadly sins are the reason we as a city kill our own children and mock God in the process.

In the end these seven deadly sins are our greatest enemies.  The abortionist can only kill the body; the mill landlord with his signs is only acting like an insipid fool; the culture of death cannot harm the soul of a person who loves God.  But the seven deadly sins are our seven enemies that have the power to take a soul or a society to hell if they are not fought against on a daily basis.

In the Seven Virtues we have the means to combat sin within our own lives so we can truly be the light of Jesus Christ and the voice of the Holy Spirit for our community and especially for troubled mothers and children facing death at Rockford’s abortion mill.

FBI Targets Pro-life Advocates In A City Near You

We’ve all heard that when Obama first seized power of our nation, he very early on declared veterans and pro-life advocates terrorists.  In my heart I did not want to believe it.  But since then I personally know a couple of people who have been harassed  or investigated for no reason other than they were pro-life advocates speaking out in defense of life.  A friend of ours sent out the following short note and link.  Once on the New American site, there are many links documenting the administration’s activities and plans concerning pro-lifers.

A supporter of the PregnancyCenter called today to tell us she heard on the radio that President Obama and his administration (including the FBI) are partnering with feminist organizations and Planned Parenthood to target pro-life supporters as terrorists.  This absurdity continues and is escalating.  I went online and found the information to which she referred.  Go to the link below to get details about what our government is doing to pro-life advocates.  You can’t make this stuff up.  It’s time US citizens and especially Christians wake up!  The 28 million Christians who did not vote in the 2008 election need to educate themselves on these types of atrocities and vote!

Rockford Police Again Do Bidding of Abortion Clinic

Skullduggery In Rockford Can’t Stop The Grace Of God From Saving Two Children’s Lives. An angry abortion mill landlord with a police officer backing him up did what he could to block the pro-life mobile ultrasound in Rockford again today. With the sidewalks in front of the mill filled with Christians in humble prayer, these machinations failed to work this time.

The mobile ultrasound unit found a parking spot where it could be easily seen by mothers from the abortion mill parking lot.  This did not sit well with the mill landlord so like a bat out of an abortion mill he went right to a police officer and complained.  Within seconds the officer told the ultrasound unit it had to move farther down the block to a place where it couldn’t be seen from the mill parking lot.  The ultrasound unit was legally parked.  It would appear that the Rockford police department is getting directly involved in promoting the anti-life, culture of death.   By ordering this vehicle to relocate they denied visibility of the ultrasound unit, thereby denying the right to free speech and the ability to render assistance to distraught women.

Following the officers orders immediately, the ultrasound unit moved down the block where it could no longer be seen from the mill parking-lot.

Then the mill landlord placed a large sign on his vehicle, which he parked right behind the ultrasound unit (a space made available by the Rockford police department, for Webster’s counter protest) claiming the motor home is filled with bedbugs!  When a pro-lifer stood in front of the bedbug sign with a pro-life sign, he was told by the police officer he was breaking the law by standing there!  It should be noted that pro-lifers used to have signs attached to their vehicles and parked on 10th street.  The city accommodated the abortion mill by making it illegal to park on the east side of 10th street, next to the mill.  No matter what the city says, their reasoning was that it was, in our opinion, done to deny the free speech rights of pro-life citizens.  By not arresting Mr. Webster for his free standing sign on his vehicle, dare we assume that pro-life citizens will now be granted equal rights?

The icing on the cake was when this same officer ordered a pro-lifer who was calling out offers of help to women entering the mill to hold it down and to stop being so loud.  The pro-lifer agreed, but when the police officer was asked by pro-lifers to tell the same thing to the abortion mill landlord’s girlfriend, who was standing on a second floor balcony screaming obscenities through a megaphone, the officer flatly refused repeated requests for equal treatment for both sides and said nothing to her.

Webster, owner of the abortion mill building, was using every dirty trick available to him to silence any offers of help to mothers in need.

In the end, by the grace of God, it didn’t matter!

"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith–and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God."  Eph 2:8

Overcoming all of these obstacles this morning, two mothers chose life, and the life-saving free mobile ultra-sound vehicle was used for the first time in Rockford!!!

We cannot publicly go into details about the personal stories of these women who chose life but we can tell you the look on a young lady’s face, combined with her smiles and happiness as she left the ultrasound unit, turned all of this morning’s difficulties into joy for everyone concerned.

One of the mothers may be interested in a baby shower and will be letting us know.

The video below is a must-see!

Still Fighting For Human Rights

AFTER SUPER BOWL, TEBOW MOM STILL FIGHTING FOR HUMAN RIGHTS WITH PERSONHOOD ENDORSEMENT

Washington, DC (22 October 2010) – After facing down months of criticism leading up to her pro-life television commercial during the 2010 Super Bowl, Pam Tebow, mother of NFL rookie quarterback Tim Tebow, is once again speaking out on behalf of human rights for all.

Tebow extended her endorsement earlier this week to Colorado’s Amendment 62 initiative — the only pro-life ballot measure in the country this November which would recognize, in the Colorado state constitution, that all human beings are “persons.”

“All children are people, made in the image and likeness of God,” said Tebow. “Thus, I support the Personhood amendment and appeal to Colorado voters to vote ‘yes’ on Amendment 62."

Tebow joins a growing number of civil and human rights champions to endorse Amendment 62, including American Life League president Judie Brown.

Amendment 62 reads:

Section 32. Person defined. As used in sections 3, 6, and 25 of Article II of the state constitution, the term "person" shall apply to every human being from the beginning of the biological development of that human being.

Newborn Saved from Dumpster

Newborn Saved from Dumpster by Man who Later Finds Out He’s the Father

By Thaddeus M. Baklinski CALGARY, October 21, 2010 LifeStiteNews.com  - A Newborn Saved from Dumpster in northwest Calgary was saved by a man who only later found out he was the boy’s father. Calgary police said that the boy’s mother told them she did not know she was pregnant until she gave birth to the child. She allegedly put the living baby in a garbage bag and tossed him into the dumpster.

The 29-year-old woman’s boyfriend said he had no idea she was pregnant because she was heavy set and always had "a bit of a belly."

On Tuesday, October 19, the man said his girlfriend was complaining of cramps and illness. He told police that on returning home for lunch a passerby alerted him to cries coming from a dumpster.

"A girl said, ‘I think I hear a baby in the dumpster.’ With no knowledge at the time that this is my kid whatsoever, I went running over there, stood beside the dumpster, heard the baby cry," the man, who cannot be named to protect the identity of the child, told the Calgary Herald.

"I jumped in and removed the stuff. I personally opened the bag and uncovered all the stuff off," he said.

"My first thought seeing the baby there was disgust. I just thought ‘we’ve got to get that baby out of here’ and I didn’t know CPR," the man said.

The baby was immediately taken to hospital where he is reported to be in stable condition. Hospital staff said it appeared the baby had been in the dumpster for about two hours before being rescued and was suffering from hypothermia when brought to them.

Police questioned the man after the rescue, and later that evening informed him that he was the child’s father. "It was the most shocking thing I’ve ever encountered in my life – to find that out from police is not something I’d ever expected to happen," he said.

The father said his girlfriend’s behavior was perplexing but he feels she needs help rather than his anger.

"I’m not mad. I don’t know if it’s just my demeanor, knowing that getting mad isn’t going to solve everything, not going to help the problem," he said, adding, "I’m not happy with her but I’m not angry, either. I want to make sure she gets the help she needs."

The woman is scheduled to undergo a psychiatric assessment and is facing charges of attempted murder, failing to provide the necessities of life and child abandonment.

Staff Sergeant Leah Barber of the Calgary Child Abuse Unit said that although "Information suggests the woman was not aware of the pregnancy prior to the birth," she believes there are reasonable grounds for the charges.

"The baby was put in there with no expectation to survive … where it couldn’t be found," Barber told the media.

"There’s always other options. Obviously if something like this were to happen, 911 would be the first call I’d make," she said.

According to police, the custody of the child is being discussed with Alberta Children and Youth Services. However, the child’s father told the Calgary Herald today that he hopes to gain custody of his son.

"I’m just going to try to be the best dad I can be. If he wants to get involved in sports, be a computer geek, try to be the next prime minister, I’ll do whatever I can do to support him," the father said.
