Boycott growing: 500,000 pledge to boycott The Home Depot

The Home Depot Boycott Growing

 From the American Family Association
Over one-half million people have signed a pledge to boycott The Home Depot until it agrees to remain neutral in the culture and political war over homosexual marriage.
As a financial backer, The Home Depot has stated it "is proud to support" the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) effort to force the legalization of homosexual marriage across America.
In a February 17, 2011 announcement, HRC notes that it most recently:
- Helped gather support for marriage equality bill in Maryland;
– Sponsored Marriage Equality Day in Albany, New York;
– Pushed for final passage of Hawaii civil unions bill;
– Stood up to Christian-owned Chick-fil-A for supporting a traditional marriage seminar;
– Fought a constitutional amendment that would ban same-sex couples from marrying in Wyoming
The Home Depot’s support made all of these things possible. That’s because The Home Depot is taking profits made from your purchases to push the homosexual agenda.
Join over 500,000 people who have signed the boycott pledge! AFA will personally deliver the boycott pledges to The Home Depot’s board of directors.
Let us deliver YOUR SIGNED PLEDGE to boycott The Home Depot.

Over 50,000 area children have died in the Rockford abortion facility since 1985.

  • Each save represents a Mother and a Father (64 individuals) that were saved from a lifetime of guilt and regret.
  • Each save also represents an unknown impact upon hundreds of people who will  now come into contact with that child in the future
  • Over 500 people from a variety of denominations joined together to pray for –
    • an end to abortion
    • the healing of women that have had abortions
    • the healing of abortion facility personnel through the acceptance of Jesus as Lord and Savior
  • Participants being called by the Holy Spirit to remain involved in the pro life ministry
The 2011 Spring 40 Days for Life campaign starts on Ash Wednesday, March 9, and concludes on Palm Sunday, April 17.

40 DAYS FOR LIFE PRAYER CAMPAIGN UPDATE:

In a little over a week, the peaceful prayer campaign in Rockford will begin.  We hope many people will step forward to participate in this extremely important pro-life effort which saves innocent, helpless babies, helps moms in crisis turn from the worst mistake they can make, helps protect entire families, and sends a message loud and clear to our community and beyond that killing babies for money is wrong, must stop, and that many good people are willing to band together to stand "in the gap" and say, "NO!"

How can you help?

1.  Prayer and fasting during Lent at home, at work, alone, in groups.  Ask a friend or a study group to join you.

2.  Sidewalk prayer vigil participation.  Abortions occur twice a week in Rockford at the old Turner School on Broadway and 10th (1400 Broadway).  Please come there to pray anytime but particularly during Lent (March 9-April 17) between 6 am and 6 pm.  Please utilize the resources provided from the goodness of their hearts by the Brady family who own the Labor News building just to the east of the abortion facility.   There you will find coffee and other snacks, restrooms, signs to borrow, warmth and friendship.  While there, say hello to really good people.

Sign Ups for the prayer vigil schedule help the organizers cover the schedule more completely.  It helps greatly but is not mandatory.  If you are willing to sign up, please visit: 40daysforlife.com/rockford

3.  Place a yard sign at your home/business/church.  Please contact

4.  Come to the Kick-off Rally: "WITH GOD, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE,"on March 8 at 7 pm in First Free Evangelical Church, 2223 N. Mulford Rd. Rockford, IL.  Hear inspirational speakers, pick up yard signs, and enjoy refreshments and fellowship with your pro-life friends and neighbors.

5.  Donations are still needed to provide the materials which support this effort both during the campaign and throughout the year as outreach continues.  If able, please send donations to Rockford Pro-Life Initiative, PO Box 1153, Rockford, IL 61105.

Ten Things Abortion Promoters Fear The Most

The Ten Things Rockford’s Abortion Promoters Are Most Afraid Of.
Below are ten things that the people who own, operate, work at, and support the Rockford abortion mill have shown great aversion to.  We can make our pro-life ministry for life and love more effective by understanding what the abortion supporters who mock God and destroy human lives are most afraid of.

10. Ultrasound - Sidewalk counselors have spoken with numerous mothers who wanted to see their ultrasounds while inside Rockford’s abortion mill and were refused.  Combine this with the mill’s vicious lies and attacks on the mobile ultrasound motor home, and it’s very clear those inside the Rockford abortion mill are very afraid of mothers’ seeing their children’s ultrasounds.

9. Women being offered an alternative to abortion - From the abortion mill’s failed attempt to enact a bubble zone to Wayne Webster’s threatening mothers who are speaking to sidewalk counselors over the clinic P.A., we have an abortion clinic that does not want women to ever hear there is an alternative to abortion.

This mill even goes to such extremes to keep mothers from hearing about alternatives to abortion, that the mill landlord comes charging out of the mill to threaten mothers in person when they ignore him on the P.A. system.  He has even propped up his aged girlfriend in a second floor window to try to silence offers of help to mothers.  The last thing they want is any mother hearing that there is a lot of help available to them.

8. Prayer - The lengths to which the abortion mill has gone to  disrupt Christians at prayer have plumbed the depth of ignorance and depravity.  The killers of children in Rockford will go to any length to stop Christians from praying for life because they have seen, as we have, that prayer saves lives.

7. Exorcism - When a group of Catholic Priests began prayers of exorcism at Rockford’s abortion mill, the landlord went ballistic. He could not even stand to be inside his mill when the men of God were praying.  Like clockwork the prayers drove him out of the mill, and unbelievably, one time he even came out wearing a devil’s mask.

Abortion has its roots in the demonic – and the demonic is driven out by exorcism.

6. The poor and minorities - From the supporter of the abortion mill who was caught on video in a racist tirade (see link to video below), to the abortion supporters who have told pro-lifers directly that abortion is needed to get rid of ni…. , we have Margret Sanger’s dream come true in Rockford.  It is a place that is in business to rid the world of, as Margret Sanger said aboutblacks, immigrants and indigents, "…human weeds,’ ‘reckless breeders,’ ‘spawning… human beings who never should have been born."

The abortion mill landlord himself is famous for his rubber chickens hanging on nooses.  Nooses are a symbol of the lynching of African-Americans.  And this abortion mill was caught red-handed in its willingness to take money to exterminate Hispanic children.

Margaret Sanger once wrote,"We do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population."  Thankfully, the mask has been torn off the Rockford abortion mill and its bigotry and hate.

5. The Truth -  "I didn’t want to look, but I didn’t want to stop looking either. I couldn’t not watch. I was horrified," writes former Planned Parenthood Director Abby Johnson as she witnessed an abortion in the clinic she directed.   The truth that abortion is the murder of a child is clearly seen by any person who is open to the truth.

From an ultrasound to the pictures of children in the womb pro-lifers hold out side the mill, we all know the truth is that a child in the womb is a person.

The abortion mill workers try to hide their eyes from seeing these pictures, but for many it hasn’t worked because we have seen a high turnover of abortion mill workers in the last few years.  Much of this may have to do with the truth they know deep down, that abortion is the murder of a child.

4. 40 Days for Life - When our first 40 Days for Life was held in Rockford two years ago, the mill had a new sign almost daily in its window, mocking prayer and 40 Days for Life.
(See links to 40 Days information and videos pertaining to 40 Days in Rockford below.)
Then the numbers of abortions went down, and the numbers of women choosing life went way up.  The mocking signs suddenly stopped.

At a meeting of the city of Rockford Codes and Regulation Committee, one of the reasons pro-abortion alderman Karen Elyea tried to get a bubble zone around the Rockord’s abortion mill was, in her words, "With 40 Days coming up we have to do something."

3. Children - This abortion mill has banned children in their waiting room–except, of course, for the children whose lives they are going to destroy for money.  The mill landlord consistently complains  about the young pro-lifers who come to pray at the mill.  The presence of young people either inside or outside the mill reminds him that he is in the business of killing the young – and he doesn’t like to be reminded of that.

2. Being reminded of the reality of hell - On numerous occasions, in a spirit of charity, pro-lifers have reminded the abortion mill landlord, the workers, and the abortionist of the reality of eternal separation from God as the natural end for those who murder babies.   Their response is always the same.  They don’t deny the reality of hell but change the subject or try and excuse what they are doing by accusing Christians of being sinners also.

The difference is Christians know they are sinners and repent  while those who are murdering God’s children inside the abortion mill continue to mock God and destroy human life.

1. Jesus Christ - No child-killing center in America or probably the world has attacked the name of Jesus Christ in the ways and for the length of time as has the child-killing business in Rockford IL.  Because they are in the business of killing children, they know they are in direct opposition to God so they respond in an irrational and self-destructive way.

The saddest aspect of all about their attacks on Jesus Christ is that they are rejecting the only One who can bring them light, happiness, or peace.

Good News From Virginia

Va. OKs bill to likely close most abortion clinics

By DENA POTTER

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) – Virginia took a big step Thursday toward eliminating most of the state’s 21 abortion clinics, approving a bill that would likely make rules so strict the medical centers would be forced to close, Democrats and abortion rights supporters said.
Gov. Bob McDonnell, a Republican and Catholic, supports the measure and when he signs it into law, Virginia will become the first state to require clinics that provide first-trimester abortions to meet the same standards as hospitals. The requirements could include anything from expensive structural changes like widening hallways to increased training and mandatory equipment the clinics currently don’t have.

While abortion providers must be licensed in Virginia, the clinics resemble dentists’ offices and are considered physicians offices, similar to those that provide plastic and corrective eye surgeries, colonoscopies and a host of other medical procedures.
Democrats and abortion rights supporters said the change would put an estimated 17 of the state’s 21 clinics out of business. Most of the clinics also provide birth control, cancer screenings and other women’s health services.

"This is not about safety for women. This is about ideology, and this is about politics," said Tarina Keene, executive director of NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia. "The women of the commonwealth are going to be the ones left to suffer."
Abortion rights supporters warned of legal challenges while supporters heralded it as a way to make the procedures safer.
"It is not about banning abortions," said Sen. Jill Vogel, R-Winchester. "It is simply caring for women who are about to have an invasive surgical procedure and creating an environment for them where they have the opportunity to do that in a place that is safe."
No other state requires clinics that provide early abortions to meet hospital standards.

Nineteen states, including Virginia, require an abortion to be performed in a hospital after 12 weeks, according to the Guttmacher Institute, which tracks abortions and laws concerning the procedures.
More than 27,000 of the 28,000 abortions performed each year in Virginia are completed during the first-trimester, Keene said.
"Does Virginia really want to take the lead in such obstruction?" asked Sen. Maime Locke, D-Hampton, who called the bill "draconian and patriarchal at best."

Democrats argued it wouldn’t pass constitutional muster because it would put an undue burden on poor women and those in rural areas, where clinics likely would close. They also argued it would violate the equal protection guarantees of the Constitution by treating abortions differently than similar procedures.

"Absolutely all that will be accomplished by this vote is to restrict access to a safe and legal procedure to poor women," said Sen. Mary Margaret Whipple, D-Arlington. "This does nothing to end abortions. It is purely discriminatory. It makes me heartsick."
Laurence H. Tribe, professor of constitutional law at Harvard Law School, said the bill would likely be deemed unconstitutional "because its transparent purpose and effect would be to make such early abortions far more difficult if not impossible for many women to obtain."
Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli, who supported similar legislation as a state senator, said he believes the law would be constitutional.
"For over 25 years, Virginia abortion clinics have not been held to minimal health and safety standards," he said. "As a result, women who walk into these clinics are often not treated with the care and respect that any human being deserves."
Anti-abortion bills typically die in a Democrat-controlled Senate committee, but Republicans in the House tacked it onto a bill that already had passed the Senate. Doing so allowed the bill to sidestep the committee and forced a vote on the Senate floor, where Democrats hold a 22-18 majority.

Two anti-abortion Democrats voted with Republicans, and Lt. Gov. Bill Bolling, a Republican, cast the tie-breaking vote after hours of debate.
After it becomes law in July, the state Board of Health will take public comments before issuing the guidelines. The board is appointed by the governor.

40 Days For Life Rockford IL. 2011

Abortion=Black Genocide

Rockford, IL. 2 24 2011-ProLifeCorner.com- Following is an article from the Catholic League that reveals the racist side of abortion.
For the past three years, since the racist tirade of an abortion supporter by the name of Keith, we have been trying to expose how abortion on demand is really tied into Margaret Sanger’s (now Planned Parenthood) eugenics agenda.

 It is by no accident that the majority of abortion clinics are placed in minority neighborhoods, for example Gosnell’s abortion clinic that had a door for whites and a door for minorities.  At one time the Rockford abortion mill was located in the more affluent neighborhood near Rockford Memorial Hospital; it has been relocated to its present location in a minority neighborhood.  For those of you who have not seen the bigoted and racist attitude of an abortion supporter at NIWC (Northern Illinois Women’s Center), please check out this link to see the video:
WARNING-THIS VIDEO CONTAINS RACIST AND ANTI-CHRISTIAN RHETORIC AND VILE AND VULGAR LANGUAGE.  IT IS NOT TO BE VIEWED BY YOUNG CHILDREN.  http://www.prolifecorner.com/node/61   To read the text of the video go  to this link:   http://www.prolifecorner.com/node/75

ABORTION = BLACK GENOCIDE
A pro-life group, Life Always, has displayed a huge billboard in the SoHo section of New York City that shows a picture of a young black girl with the inscription, "The most dangerous place for an African American is in the womb." It has created a firestorm in New York City.

The organization responsible for the billboard has the strong backing of prominent African Americans; they chose to display their message during Black History Month. Rev. Stephen Broden, an African American who heads Life Always, says he wants to protest abortion as black genocide.

Catholic League president Bill Donohue commented on the critics of the billboard today:

Life Always says it wants to raise public awareness of Planned Parenthood’s war on black people. Good for them. Margaret Sanger, who founded the organization, made no secret of her racist agenda to wipe out the "weeds" in the African American community. To this day, a disproportionate number of Planned Parenthood’s abortion clinics are located in minority neighborhoods, their largest cheerleaders being affluent white liberals who perversely boast of championing the cause of the black poor.

Nationally, blacks, who make up 13 percent of the population, account for over one-third of all the abortions. In New York City, where over four out of ten children are killed before birth, the rate of abortion among black women is 60 percent. But killing six in ten black babies isn’t enough to satisfy some affluent white liberals—they want more.

New York City Council Speaker Christine Quinn does not find black genocide offensive—she finds the billboard offensive. Worse is Bill de Blasio, who in the name of being New York’s Public Advocate, is advocating that the billboard be taken down. He says, "The billboard simply doesn’t belong in our city. The ad violates the values of New Yorkers." The values he is so proud of include the devaluing of innocent human life, making New York City the abortion capital of the nation.
