Chicago, Il – (ProLifeCorner.com) – 11 28 2014 – by Rockford Pro-Life Initiative – In a shocking statement, new Chicago Archbishop Blase Cupich was quoted as saying he recently had a “delightful” meeting with President Obama who is the most pro-abortion President in American history. Obama is well known for his support for killing children in the womb at every stage of life including late term abortions, partial birth abortions, and even voting not to protect from death babies who are born alive when an abortionist failed to kill them in the womb. Psalm 37 The Lot of the Wicked and the Good
Do not fret because of the wicked; do not envy those who do evil: for they wither quickly like grass and fade like the green of the fields.
If you trust in the Lord and do good, then you will live in the land and be secure. If you find your delight in the Lord, he will grant your heart’s desire. Commit your life to the Lord, trust in him and he will act, so that your justice breaks forth like the light, your cause like the noon-day sun. Continue reading

2014 CCHD Catholic Campaign for Human Development report.
From ChurchMilitant.tv- It’s that time of year again – the Catholic Campaign for Human Development is going to be asking for YOUR money . . . and they’ll be spending it on things against the faith!
ProLifeCorner editors note: As Michael Voris will explain in the short video below the problem with the CCHD has gone on for many years and they have been misappropriating funds by giving money to pro-abortion and radical left-wing groups; money which has been given to them in good faith. After you watch Michael’s video return to this page and follow the link below to an article we wrote back in November of 2012 exposing this problem. And then see the Michael Voris and the ALL (American life league) video on that page which explains in great detail the misappropriations of funds by the CCHD. Continue reading
Is this you? “I’m pro-life. I would never have an abortion. But I’m not an activist.” Well, I’m glad you’re against child-killing. But it’s not enough to say you are against abortion. You must live what you believe. You may not be a hold-a-sign-and-engage-in-public-debate activist, but every Christian should take a stand against abortion. Call it activism, education or ministry, but when genocide is occurring in our nation, we must do more than identify with the opponents of it. When we are persecuted for our stance on abortion or for righteousness sake, it can be discouraging. Who doesn’t want to be liked and accepted? But we must not fear rocking the boat when our fellow human beings are drowning in the devil’s deceptive lies. There are millions of people who are broken and hurting, starving for the truth. They try to fill a void by giving themselves away sexually. When the consequences of their actions hit them, and a baby is created, they try desperately to find a way out. They end up covering up one sin with another by killing their child. The darkness around them gets thicker and harder to overcome, the longer and deeper they dive into perpetual sin. Continue reading
Will We Go Down in History As the Generation that Ignored Good and Evil?
ProLifeCorner- By Larry Plachno
The famous G.K. Chesterton is known for his many insightful quotes. One that is particularly appropriate in our current situation is: “It isn’t that they can’t see the solution. It is that they can’t see the problem.”
And we do have problems. One recent survey indicated that approximately three out of every four Americans think that our country is heading in the wrong direction. Our social problems are out of control, our families are disintegrating, and our people no longer believe in good and evil. Our society has become so brainwashed and influenced by the liberal media that we can no longer see the cause of our problems. It is increasingly obvious that our society is falling apart because we no longer judge our actions as good or evil and we no longer think about doing what is best for other people and society. Our military forces and all the men and women, firefighters, police officers, paramedics, and those who selflessly serve all of us.
Grant them courage, When times seem bleak.
Grant them strength, When they feel weak.
Grant them comfort, When they feel all alone,
And most of all, God, Please bring them, All home. Amen Continue reading
Father in Heaven, Creator of all and source of all goodness and love, please look kindly upon us and receive our heartfelt gratitude in this time of giving thanks.
Thank you for all the graces and blessings you have bestowed upon us, spiritual and temporal; our faith and religious heritage; our food and shelter; our health; the love we have for one another, our family and friends.
Dear Father, in Your infinite generosity, please grant us continued graces and blessings throughout the coming year.
This we ask in the Name of Jesus, Your Son. Amen.
ProLifeCorner – 11-17-14 – by Staff – Many years ago we were working on material for our Pro Life Corner bulletin quotes when we came across several wonderful pro-life quotes from Mark Pickup. We did not realize at that time the tribulations he and his wife, LaRee, were experiencing, we only knew his writing was superb and we wanted to share it with others. As years passed we became more aware of Mark’s condition and just some of the trials he has endured. We have corresponded with him for quite some time and were so thrilled at the wonderful news he shared with us when he was able to take a few steps. What joy! Please take time to read the story of a most remarkable and faithful pro-life couple. If only our world contained more couples like them, it would be a much better place to live. Continue reading
ProLifeCorner- Sunday, November 16th, 2014- Matthew 25: 14-30
“For to anyone who has more will be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who has not, even what he has will be taken away.”
Since May, the Ebola virus has devastated many countries in Africa. Thousands of people have died of the disease.
Among the many anonymous heroes are nurses like Josephine Finda Sellu. Josephine – age 42, is the deputy nurse matron at the government-run hospital in Kenema in Sierra Leone. Kenema has been Sierra Leone’s biggest death trap since the virus struck. Josephine is part of a select club: she is one of three surviving nurses of the original staff who did not become infected. They watched their patients die and their colleagues die, but they carried on. Continue reading
