Pro-Life Corner For 2018

Greetings and blessings to all our loyal Pro-Life Corner friends.  Many of you have used the PLC in the past, but there may be others who are not familiar with it; for them we present this brief explanation.  The purpose of the Pro-Life corner is to present to the church-going public a message pertaining to a pro-life thought.  But more important than the message itself is the fact that all faith communities, Catholic, Protestant, and Jewish will have the same message each weekend to show the world that in the name of God the Father, the giver of all life, we are united in our efforts to stop the slaughter of the unborn, the elderly, and the infirm throughout our nation.

We need to fall on our knees and beg the creator of all life to bring an end to the madness of abortion and euthanasia.  We also need to educate as many people as possible about life issues.  This is the purpose of the Pro-Life Corner.  It should give people something to think about or a subject for discussion so that we can teach others about this crime against humanity.

Please continue to make copies of the Pro-Life Corner to send to friends, family, and churches.  We depend on you to help us educate as many people as possible.

Our work here at the Pro Life Corner and maintaining our website depends primarily upon small donations.  If you are able to send a donation to help support our work, we would be very grateful.

May God richly bless you for your efforts in promoting the culture of life.

January 7- “All the wars ever fought, all the holocausts ever perpetrated, all the plagues that ever raged, all the bombs that ever dropped, all the famines that ever laid waste to the land, put together have not killed the number of human beings wiped out by ABORTION.”   -Fr. Frank Pavone

January 14- Did you know that since 1973 when abortion was decriminalized in the U.S. over 60 million babies have been killed in their mother’s womb? This is equal to the population of a country the size of Italy!  Help end abortion.

January 21- In the 45 years since abortion was decriminalized, there have been no winners in the war against the culture of life-only dead babies and victimized women.

January 28- You must make a “choice” – The future of our nation depends on it! Choose life, not abortion and euthanasia.

February 4- Abortion is an atrocity.  Those who support or endorse it are either useful fools or treacherous devils.  Satan is pleased with abortion and euthanasia.

February 11- Pregnancy is not a disease and abortion is not health care.

February 18- There are certain things in life God has called us to be.  Being silent is not one of them, especially regarding abortion and euthanasia.

February 25- How does this statement relate to us?  “I was trying to figure out which is worse, ignorance or apathy.  Then I realized I don’t know and I don’t care.”  Such apathy and ignorance is why abortion is still “legal” today.

March 4- Regarding abortion:  “When God says ‘Let there be life’, dare we say ‘It shall not be?’ ” Mother M. Angelica

March 11- “This (abortion) is a debate about our understanding of human dignity, what it means to be a member of the human family, even though tiny, powerless and unwanted”   – Henry Hyde.   Pray to end abortion.

March 18- We support funding for a cure for AIDS, breast cancer, and other causes, but where is the courage to cease funding and the support for abortion and euthanasia?  Join pro-life and help bring an end to these crimes against humanity.

March 25- “I’m so busy doing nothing that I don’t do anything else.”  Is this why abortion and its miserable fruits are running rampant in our nation?  We sit back and do nothing and consider ourselves to be busy.  Now is the time to join pro-life and work to end abortion and euthanasia.

April 1- If you don’t stand for something, you’ll fall for anything.  Stand up and speak out for life. One man or woman with courage can have a positive effect on the future of our nation.

April 8- Pro-“choice” is no choice. Pro-choice is death to the baby, the family, and to the future of our nation!

April 15- Fetus is a Latin word for “young one” and should not be a pro-choice word for fair game.

April 22- In America over twenty-four times as many babies die through abortion than women die to breast cancer each year.  About 41,000 women die each year from breast cancer.  Over 1,000,000 babies die from surgical abortion each year, and that does not take into account the millions of chemical abortions.

April 29- Whether by pill or invasive surgery, abortion is never good for women and it is always certain death for the baby.

May 6- Abortion is the real war on women.

May 13- Susan B. Anthony once said:  “Guilty?  Yes.  No matter what the motive, love of ease or a desire to save from suffering the unborn innocent, the woman is awfully guilty who commits the deed.  It will burden her conscience in life, it will burden her soul in death; but oh, thrice guilty is he who drove her to the desperation which impelled her to the crime!”

May 20- “There are two victims in every abortion, a dead baby and a dead conscience”  -Mother Teresa

May 27- It’s easy to love life when it’s beautiful and perfect. But the real test of our love is to love, respect, and defend ALL human life from beginning to end; young and old, born and unborn.

June 3- The D-Day invasion of France in WWII was one of the bloodiest in history.  There were 53,714 allied soldiers killed in the “Battle of Normandy”.  Yet our world kills almost three times that amount every day through surgical abortions and the world is silent.

June 10- Doing the right thing is not just for your own good, but for all humanity.  Praying and working to end abortion is the right thing for all of us.

June 17- Instead of BABY they say blob of tissue; instead of killing, they say aborting; instead of dissect, they say research; instead of extermination chamber, they say abortion clinics.  Lord, when will this madness end?

June 24- No human being is ever conceived outside God’s will or ever conceived apart from God’s image.  Life is a gift from God created in His own image and likeness.  Work to stop abortion and euthanasia today.

July 1- “Unless liberty is devoted to the defense of life, neither life nor liberty can survive.” Richard John Neuhaus

July 8- Our society looks back at great injustices in the past and declares never again! Yet society is perpetrating the greatest injustices in the history of the world, abortion and euthanasia.

July 15- The unborn baby:  not a problem, not a parasite, not a potential, but a person with potential.

July 22- Humanity has overcome the food chain and having surpassed all other predators, has now turned to a strange form of cannibalism: humanity preys upon itself.  We murder our own children through abortion and call it progress.  Pray to end abortion.

July 29- Albert Einstein once said: “The world will not be destroyed by those who do evil, but by those who watch them without doing anything.”  In Einstein’s day the evil was the Holocaust.  Today’s evil is the holocaust of abortion and euthanasia.  What will you do to help stop this evil?

August 5- In 1945 the atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima. According to the encyclopedia, 92,000 people died that day, and the world still remembers. Yet worldwide 150,000 babies are murdered by abortion every day-and the world is silent.

August 12- To cause another person to die intentionally is not an act of mercy as some insist, but an act of murder. God is the giver and taker of life, not man.  We must stop abortion and euthanasia.

August 19- Enlist in the fight against abortion today!  Help to end the war against the unborn children. Hasn’t Satan been sacrificing our children long enough? Abortion is the execution of our brothers and sisters and is destroying the future of our nation.

August 26- Jesus commanded us to love the least, not abandon them to destruction.  We must stop aborting babies.  Our nation’s future depends upon it.

September 2- Stop bullying little people to death-stop abortion.

September 9- “The hottest places in hell are reserved for those who, having the power and responsibility to oppose evil, did nothing to extinguish it.” Work/Pray to end abortion and euthanasia.

September 16- We are all guilty.  Abortion continues to be legally practiced today because most Christians do nothing about it.  Our silence is killing millions of unborn babies all over the world.

September 23- St. Theresa of Calcutta once said:  “The greatest destroyer of peace today is ABORTION … because it is war against the child. When we die, we will come face to face with God, the Author of Life. Who will give an account to God for the millions and millions of babies who were not allowed a chance to live, to experience loving and being loved?”  Join pro-life today and offer to help at a local pregnancy care center.

September 30- Wake up America!  Toleration of abortion is compromise; ignorance of abortion is complicity; inaction regarding abortion is approval.  We must abolish abortions.

October 7- The words of the debate are deceptive. Abortion is demanded as a right, but no one has a right to kill another.  Please pray and work to end abortion today.

October 13- “The state has an interest (responsibility) in protecting the poor, the elderly and disabled persons.  The lives of the disabled and elderly must be no less valuable than the lives of young and healthy … The difficulty in defining terminal illness and the risk that a dying patient’s request for assistance in ending his or her life might not be truly voluntary justifies the prohibitions on assisted suicide we uphold here.”  -Chief Justice William Rehnquist

October 21- We are never defeated unless we give up on God.  We need to pray unceasingly to end abortion and euthanasia.

October 28- Speak for those who cannot speak for themselves, God’s precious unborn babies. We are not attempting to create any new laws; we just want the current laws against murder applied to all people, born and unborn.

November 4- You can’t walk with God and hold hands with Satan at the same time.  You can’t be a true Christian and support abortion and euthanasia at the same time either.

November 11- We have lost more Americans through abortion, 60,000,000 since 1973, than we did in all of our wars combined.

November 18- Without life all other rights and issues are meaningless. Pray to end abortion and euthanasia. Human life-respect it, nourish it, love it. Help stop abortion and euthanasia.

November 25- Those who favor euthanasia (mercy killing), speak of the ‘right to die’. No one needs a right to die; it’s a fact of life. What they really want is the right to kill. Pray to end abortion and euthanasia.

December 2- John the Baptist, while still in the womb of Elizabeth, recognized Jesus in the womb of Mary and leapt for joy. This Advent season may we recognize Jesus as our Savior and be open to his joy, peace, and love.

December 9- “If it be necessary to go against the current of what is sometimes being thought and said on all sides, then let us never grow weary of repeating it-All human life must be absolutely respected; in fact, abortion and euthanasia are murder.” -Pope Paul VI

December 16- We have a choice:  We can throw in the towel or we can use it to wipe the sweat off our face and work hard to end abortion and euthanasia.

December 23- “The mystery of the Incarnation reveals the specific value of the dignity of human life. God gave us this gift and sanctified it when the Son became man and was born of Mary. Life is a gift that must be protected, from conception until natural death. With all my heart I join people involved in various initiatives aimed at respecting life and promoting a new social awareness.”  Pope Benedict XVI.   Choose the culture of life

December 30- The only differences between the Herod of old and the “Herods” of today are in the weapons used and the number of victims.  Herod used swords and spears to kill the Holy Innocents.  Today’s Herods use surgical abortion, ‘The Pill’ and other chemical weapons.  And whereas Herod killed a relatively small number of babies, today’s Herods have butchered, worldwide, hundreds of millions with no end in sight!

Without Life Nothing Else Matters

Presented below is our Pro Life Corner for 2017.  We have suffered through 44 years of decriminalized abortion in the United States that has resulted in the deaths of over 60,000,000 unborn babies.  One of these beautiful babies might have been sent from God to provide a cure for cancer or some other hideous disease.  Yet that child was slaughtered on the altar of selfishness, pride, or some other sad reason.  Let us pray this year that abortion will be eradicated in our nation and throughout the world so that once again we may start to live in peace and love for our fellow humankind.

January 1 – “They shed innocent blood, the blood of their sons and their daughters…and the land was polluted with blood…”  Psalms 106:38  Our land is polluted with the blood of over 60 million aborted babies. Pray to end abortion.

January 8 – How much a society values its children can be measured by how well their children are treated.  Abortion is the ultimate child abuse.

January 15 – “Christians have a duty to be politically active… to speak up about the issues that affect the common good…when we go into the voting booths, we don’t cease to be members of the Church! If we don’t shape public policy according to moral truths, why do we believe that moral truth at all?” –Fr. Frank Pavone, Director, Priests for Life

January 22 – Lord, we pray for your guidance  not only for this new administration but for the legislative and judicial branches as well. Please guide them to defend all life, preborn, elderly, and infirm.  Also may they defend our right to religious freedom, especially to the Christian faith whose guiding principles helped lay the foundation of our great nation.

January 29 – This can be applied to abortion and euthanasia:  “It’s the action, not the fruit of the action, that’s important.  You have to do the right thing.  It may not be in your power, may not be in your time, that there will be any fruit.  You may never know what results come from your action.  But if you do nothing, there will be no result.”  Gandhi

February 5 – Lord, send forth your Holy Spirit to guide this new administration in America. May they lead with love and compassion for all citizens. Through your guidance may they return to the founding principles of this country. May they defend life at all stages, may they rule once again that all have a right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

February 12 – You are one of a kind, designed to glorify God as only you can.  Actions prove who someone is.  Words just prove who they want to be.  Apply your actions to bring about an end to abortion and euthanasia.

February 19 – “To forget murder victims is to kill them twice.”  Elie Wiesel.  This certainly applies to the countless unborn babies who have been murdered by abortion in their own mother’s wombs. Pray that all who have a hand in abortion or euthanasia will seek God’s forgiveness and choose life.

February 26 – Nothing is more dreaded than the national government meddling with religion.  Now is the time to petition our government to reaffirm our God-given, Constitutionally granted, right of freedom of religion.

March 5 – Does a baby have a soul at conception or at birth?  The soul is the life principle.  The moment the sperm and egg unite, there is a soul. To allow abortion is to deny God’s will for that child’s  life.

March 12 – Each child is sent into this world by God with a “Unique Message” to deliver, a new personal act of love to bestow.  Allowing abortion is saying no to God’s will for that child.

March 19 – Ponder the following thought  in relation to abortion: Silence in the face of evil is itself evil:  God will not hold us guiltless.  Not to speak is to speak.  Not to act is to act.  To be silent about abortion and euthanasia is a sin of omission.  Join pro-life today.

March 26 – “For a Christian to speak or act publicly in a pro-choice manner is a scandal to the Gospel and Name of Jesus Christ.”  Fr. Frank Pavone, Director, Priests for Life

April 2 – Don’t tell me what you believe, show me what you do!  Join the fight against abortion and euthanasia and do so today.

April 9 – The real question today is not when human life begins, but what is the value of human life? When people devalue any one Life, they devalue all Life.  If you believe Life is sacred, you must also believe unnecessary killing is sacrilege.   Pray/work to stop the pro-death forces today.

April 16 – “What harmed the victim most was not the cruelty of the oppressor, but the silence of the bystander.”  Elie Weisel, Concentration Camp Survivor.   Babies die every day because of our silence.  Get involved in pro-life today.

April 23 – Abortion isn’t an issue.  It’s a wicked act of child murder.  Freedom of “choice” is such a deceptive way to describe the  slaughter of the unborn.  Pray and work to end abortion.

April 30 – “Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.”  Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.  Without life, nothing else matters.  Please be silent no more and speak out against abortion.

May 7 – Abortion is not a moral dilemma, political issue, ethical discussion, or philosophical debate on which we can agree to disagree.  It is the evil of our age!!  Pray and work to end abortion and euthanasia.

May 14 – “The fight for the right to life is not the cause of a special few, but the cause of every man, woman and child who cares not only about his own family, but the whole family of man.”  Dr. Mildred Jefferson

May 21 – Concerning abortion:  I’d rather stand with God and be judged by the world than stand with the world and be judged by God.

May 28 – Abortion and euthanasia are always wrong.  We must always take sides.  Neutrality helps the oppressor never the victim.  Wrong is wrong, even if everyone is doing it.  Right is right even if no one is doing it..

June 4 –  “Nothing we do to defend the human person, no matter how small, is ever unfruitful or forgotten.  Our actions touch other lives and move other hearts in ways we can never fully understand in this world.  Don’t ever underestimate the beauty and power of the witness you give in your pro-life work.” Archbishop Charles Chaput

June 11 – “…society as a whole must defend the conceived child’s right to life and the true good of the woman who can never, in any circumstances, find fulfillment in the decision to abort.”  Pope Benedict XVI

June 18 – Abortion on demand should be listed as a weapon of mass destruction, an act of terrorism, against the voiceless preborn citizen.

June 25 – Adoption is a positive alternative to abortion.  It saves one life and gives joy and hope to the adoptive parents.  It also prevents the possibility of post abortion syndrome for the birth mother.  Give your support to expectant mothers.

July 2 – “The fetus, though enclosed in the womb of its mother, is already a human being…If it seems more horrible to kill a man in his own house than in a field, because a man’s house is his place of most secure refuge, it ought surely to be deemed more atrocious to destroy a fetus in the womb before it has come to light.”  John Calvin

July 9 – “It seems to me as clear as daylight that abortion would be a crime..”  Mahatma Gandhi .   It is a crime that has been decriminalized.  Let’s pray and work to reverse Roe v Wade.

July 16 – “Abortion and racism are both symptoms of a fundamental human error.  The error is thinking that when someone stands in the way of our wants, we can justify getting that person out of our lives.  Abortion and racism stem from the same poisonous root, selfishness.”  Dr. Alveda King

July 23 – Abortion on demand is “legal’ because babies can’t vote.   However, you can.  Vote pro-life.

July 30 – Abortion on demand is the ultimate exploitation of women.  Alice Paul

August 6 – The woman has a right to the honor and joy of motherhood as a gift from God.  Pope St. John Paul II

August 13 – The height of hypocrisy is demanding that the government stay out of a woman’s bedroom and her womb while simultaneously demanding the government pay for the woman’s birth control and abortions.

August 20 – Abortion should be everyone’s concern-but nobody’s business!!!

August 27 – Abortion is nothing more than a “choice” to kill.

September 3 – In the 44 years since abortion was decriminalized there have been no winners in the war against life-only dead babies and victimized women.

September 10 – Some babies die by chance…no baby should die by “choice”.

September 17 – In 1857 the argument was if you think slavery is wrong, nobody is forcing you to own slaves, but don’t impose your morality on someone else! In 2017, the argument is if you think abortion is wrong, nobody is forcing you to have one, but don’t impose your morality on someone else! There’s nothing new under the sun

September 24 – In America since 1973, more babies have been killed in the war on the unborn by decriminalized abortion (60 million) than all the Americans killed in all of our wars from the Revolutionary to the Viet Nam War (1,160,581)

October 1 – Abortion is capital punishment without due process. The unborn child is condemned to death with state approval, but without benefit of trial, judge, or jury. How long will we, a nation professing equal justice under the law, continue to tolerate this mockery of justice?

October 8 – Abortion is not a question of what a woman does with her own body. It’s a question of what she and her doctor do to the entirely separate, unique human being who is developing inside her body.

October 15 –  Abortion is discrimination on the basis of age. Please join the Pro-life movement today.

October 22 – Forty-four years (of decriminalized abortion on demand) is long enough to figure it out: abortion isn’t a solution. It’s a deadly problem.

October 29 – It is the abortionists who are “anti-woman”. Real women’s health care does not consist of  taking her money, killing her child, and sending her home.

November 5 – Pro-“choice”? It is not “choosing” that is an issue, but rather what is chosen. An abortion is an act of violence which victimizes another human being, and thus is not a valid “choice”.

November 12 – The pro-abortion, pro-death forces like to say they’re “pro-choice”-except the choice always seems to be death for the baby.

November 19 – Equal rights begin in the womb. Abortion has two primary victims – one dead baby, one wounded mother.

November 26 – Abortion or Infanticide? Before or after birth, murder is murder no matter the name.

December 3 – Each life is an indescribably sacred and fragile mystery. Abortion destroys the revealing of God’s plan for that child.

December 10 – Someday history and the judgment of a just God will ask of our times: “Who spoke up for life?” Will you be able to say “I did, Lord”? Join the right-to-life movement today.

December 17 – Since the sex of a child is determined at conception and over half of those aborted are “female human beings” then, obviously, not every female has the right to control her own body.

December 24 – How would life be different today if Mary, the Mother of Jesus, had decided to have an abortion instead of submitting to the will of God?

December 31 – We should note that a legal abortion is NEVER a “safe” abortion for the unborn child whose life is ended.

January 3 – Regarding abortion and euthanasia:  “There is nothing less at stake than America’s future.  You and I have the ability, the dignity, and the right to make our own decisions and to determine our own destiny; with God’s help we will do what is right for us, for our children, and for our beloved America.”  Choose to protect all life.

January 10 – Abortion on demand was built on lies and  continues today with lies and deceit.  “We fed the public a line of deceit, dishonesty, a fabrication of statistics and figures…We fabricated polls which indicated that 85 percent of the public favored unrestricted abortion, when we knew it was only 5 percent. We unashamedly lied, and yet our statements were quoted [by the media] as though they had been written in law.” – Dr. Bernard Nathanson,

January 17 – Just because something happens to be legal does not make it moral, ethical or right.  Abortion is perhaps one of the most dramatic examples of a situation where something is legal, but is very much a sin against God and affront against mankind. Fight the pro-death forces today.  Tomorrow your life may depend on it.

January 24 – To sin by silence when they should protest, makes cowards of men.  No law can give us the right to do what is wrong.  Abortion is an unjust and wrong law.  How many of us have stayed silent regarding the atrocity of abortion while millions of our precious unborn babies are being slaughtered in their mother’s wombs?  Speak out and join pro-life today.

January 31 – From its earliest days, the development, research, and promotion of the pill were built on lies-lies which continue today.  Women are irreparably harmed by those lies.  Children are killed by those lies.  And society hangs in the balance because America has not been told the truth.  Learn more at

February 7 –  Regarding the atrocities of Planned Parenthood:  If  you’re not outraged, you’re not paying attention!  Take time to see the videos of Planned Parenthood admitting to selling the body parts of babies they have killed in abortions.  Then work to end abortion and taxpayer support of this mega killing center.

February 14  – Ronald Reagan once said:  “If we ever forget that we are ‘One nation, under God’, then we will be one nation gone under.” Our nation is fast going under when we allow Planned Parenthood to continue its atrocities against the unborn.

February 21 – George Washington  stated:  “Your love of liberty-your respect for the laws-your habits of industry- and your practice of the moral and religious obligations, are the strongest claims to national and individual happiness.”  We have lost these virtues completely.  We must fight to regain our religious and moral freedoms.

February 28 – Think of abortion as you read this: “He who passively accepts evil is as much involved in it as he who helps to perpetrate it.  He who accepts evil without protesting against it is really cooperating with it.”  Martin Luther King Jr.

March 6 – Things have a price and can be for sale.  But people have a dignity that is priceless and worth far more than things.  We must end abortion and euthanasia today.  The future of America depends on it.

March 13 – “`Fetal tissue’ implants are not that much different from Nazi lamp shades made of Jewish skin. Both intend to put by-products of murder to `good use.”   Now Planned Parenthood has joined the ranks of unbelievable evil by selling the body parts of the babies they murdered by abortion.

March 20 – To err is human! Abortion is no error, it is evil!! We have no right to choose evil; therefore choose to defend all life.

March 27 –  “It is the right of every pregnant woman to give birth . . . and the right of every child to be born.”  Join pro-life today.

April 3 – “M.I.A. [missing in abortion] P.O.W. [person or waste?]”  Planned Parenthood now sells the body parts of the babies they have aborted.  They have outdone the Nazi’s.

April 10- When the sperm unites with the egg, fertilization has taken place; this has long been the accepted scientific term for pregnancy.  In 1965, in order to disguise the fact that The Pill is an abortifacient, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists changed the definition of pregnancy  from “fertilization” to the “time of implantation.”  This change covers up the fact that a little baby dies due to a chemical abortion. The baby dies because it cannot attach itself to a thinned out uterine wall.  Learn more at

April 17 – What an irony that a society confronted with plastic bags filled with the remains of aborted babies should be more concerned about the problem of recycling the plastic.   Lord, give us a contrite heart and the grace to fight euthanasia and abortion.

April 24 – The old law permitted abortion to save one life when two would otherwise die.  The new law permits abortion to take one life when two would otherwise live.  We truly have lost our way.  Let us return to protecting all human life.

May 1 – “Isn’t it interesting that all of those people who support the ‘choice’ of abortion have already been born?”  This is a perfect example of ‘might is right’.  We are the only defense the unborn have.  Join pro-life today.

May 8 – Compassion for the mother is extremely important, but is never served through destroying the innocent.  Abortion kills children,  injures mothers, and destroys the family.

May 15 – If life is not a continuum, from conception to natural death, then all of us are potential victims if we fall out of favor with a ruling elite.  This statement has been proven true by the pro-death elite. Join pro-life today; your life could depend on it.

May 22 – Society as a whole must defend the conceived child’s right to life and the true good of the woman who can never, in any circumstances, find fulfillment in the decision to abort.  If you know of an abortion minded mother, pray she will choose life.  Then refer her to a local pregnancy care center.

May 29 – Regarding abortion: No matter what the motive, unless she repents, the woman who commits the deed will be burdened by her conscience in life and it will burden her soul in death; But oh, thrice guilty is he who drove her to the desperation which impelled her to the crime!”

June 5 – There is no more important issue than restoring the protection of the law to pre-born infants.  The future of America depends on it.

June 12 – Christians have a duty to be politically active, to register and vote, to lobby and educate candidates and elected officials, and to speak up about the issues that affect the common good.  This is especially true regarding matters of abortion and euthanasia.

June 19 – Because of abortion on demand, women are treated as property.  It is further degrading to women that they should treat their children as property to be disposed of as she sees fit.  Lord, give us the grace and courage to return to a love and respect for all life, born and unborn.

June 26 – “I am deeply troubled by my own increasing certainty that I have in fact presided in over 55,000 deaths.  There is no longer serious doubt in my mind that human life exists from the very onset of pregnancy.”  former abortionist Dr. Bernard Nathanson.

July 3 – “The greatest deception, and the deepest source of unhappiness, is the illusion of finding life  by excluding God, of finding freedom by excluding moral truths and personal responsibility.”  St. John Paul II.    Only when we return to the Judeo-Christian principles this nation was founded upon will we have happiness and true freedom.

July 10 – Through surgical abortion, more than 4,000 innocent lives are taken each day in this land of the free and home of the brave, whose lady holds high the torch of welcome to human life, but not the pre-born. What a contradiction.

July 17 – Defend the cause of the weak and fatherless; maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed.  Rescue the weak and needy; Deliver them from the hand of the wicked.  We must end abortion now.  The future of our nation depends on it.

July 24 – There will be over 4000 babies killed in the USA today from surgical abortion.  There will be no flags lowered, no president crying, no media hyperventilating.  Just a “normal day”.  May God forgive us and our apathy.

July 31 – The famous “Liberty Bell” has part of Leviticus 25:10 inscribed on it:  “Proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof.”  The Gettysburg Address stated”…this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom.”  Our nation today needs a new birth of religious freedom, which is rapidly being taken from us.  Defend all life and religious freedoms today.

August 7 – No matter how it is performed, abortion hurts women.  Abortion won’t stop until women stand up in unison and say, “This is unacceptable.  We and the baby deserve better.”  Refer the mother and baby to a pregnancy care center  to help her to choose to let her baby live.

August 14 – Life is valuable, even when it is unwanted, even when it is physically imperfect.  Our society has a responsibility to defend the vulnerable and the weak.  Our nation should set a goal that unborn children should be welcomed to life and protected in law.

August 21 – Abortion is an atrocity. Those who practice or praise it are either misguided fools, or treacherous devils.  Learn how we have been deceived over the past 43 years by the pro-death forces.  Then join pro-life and proclaim the gospel of life.

August 28 – When life and family are not treasured and preserved in a society, collapse on all fronts is inevitable.  We now are seeing this in America after 43 years of decriminalized abortion.  Join pro-life today.

September 4 – “The hairsplitting difference between formed and unformed makes no difference to us.  Whoever deliberately commits abortion is subject to the penalty for homicide.” St. Basil, Doctor of the Church.   God is the creator of all life, therefore all life should be nurtured and respected.

September 11 – Abortion and euthanasia should be listed as an act of  terrorism and mass destruction against the voiceless unborn and the elderly.  We must work together to end these atrocities; join pro-life today.

September 18 – Fewer women would have abortions if wombs had windows. If you know of an abortion minded woman, have her seek out a pregnancy care center; most of these centers provide free ultrasounds.  The ultrasound has become the window to the womb.  As many as nine out of ten abortion-minded women choose life after seeing an ultrasound of their baby in the womb.

September 25 – President Thomas Jefferson said:  “I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just; that His justice cannot sleep forever”.   What justice will our nation deserve as we continue to fund Planned Parenthood and the mass murders of the unborn and the selling of their body parts?

October 2 – Fight or flight? So many have given up and ran away. Run into the fight to end abortion and euthanasia!!  The future of America depends on it.

October 9 – Silence hides the truth.  Speaking up exposes falsehood.  What have you done to speak up against the horrors of abortion and Planned Parenthood?  If your answer is nothing, then you need to educate yourself and speak out to stop these atrocities.

October 16 – Early feminist leaders were opposed to legalizing abortion since they realized abortion is nothing more than a safety net for irresponsible men.  Abortion does nothing to make women equal to men.  In fact, abortion hurts women and kills their babies and destroys the future generations of Americans.  Pray and work to end abortion.

October 23 – We will never influence the world by trying to be like it.  Christians must put the light of Christ  on a lamp stand and have the courage to call “good”, good and “evil”, evil.  If we, once again,  acknowledge God then He will bless our nation.

October 30 – Are you doing all you can to stop the carnage of abortion?  It will never end unless you start to do something to end this travesty.  Get involved in pro-life today.

November 6 – Decriminalized abortion has led to the breakdown of the family.  There has been a 400% increase in births outside of wedlock, three million teenagers are treated annually for sexually transmitted diseases, and our neighborhoods are devastated by poverty, injustice, crime, and despair.  The “fruits” of abortion are destroying our nation.

November 13 – Did you know that women were told the pill prevents some cancers?  Overall, this is a negligible factor as other cancers are increased.  A study published in the New England JoM shows pill users with high cholesterol have a 23 times the risk of heart attack.  Primary liver cancer, rare in developed countries, is increased 50-70% for women using the pill.  Learn more at:

November 20 – The world is a dangerous place, not because of those who do evil, but because of those who look on and do nothing.  Abortion and euthanasia are destroying our world.

November 27 – Ending abortion:  Will it be easy?  No!  Will it be worth it?  Absolutely!  Ending abortion will save our nation.

December 4 – Lord, you formed my most inner being; you knit me in my mother’s womb.  I praise you, so wonderfully you made me; wonderful are your works!  Abortion destroys God’s creation.  Choose life today.

December 11 – For a Christian to speak or act publicly in a pro-choice manner is a scandal to the Gospel and Name of Jesus Christ, the Creator of all life.  Join pro-life today.

December 18 – Today advocates for life have an advantage over their predecessors.  Now, wonderful ultrasound images of unborn children at every stage of gestation are available.  If it wasn’t for hardness of heart, all would embrace life.

December 25 – God told Jeremiah, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”  God has a plan for every baby He sends into the world.  From the moment of conception a preborn child is a human being with a distinct purpose.  Abortion stops God’s plan for that child and the future of America.

END OF 2016

2015 PLC

Dear Pro-Life Friends,

We need to look back over the past forty years since the Roe vs. Wade decision that decriminalized abortion and allowed the killing of millions of our most helpless brothers and sisters. We must think about the gravity of not only abortion, but also euthanasia and “assisted suicide.” How many more must die before we, as people of faith, join together to stop this holocaust in our nation? Please join the pro-life movement today and let’s all work to make our nation a land where everyone, born and pre-born, can look forward to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

O God and Father of the living, to you do we entrust the cause of life.  Look down upon the vast numbers of babies not allowed to be born, of the poor whose lives are made difficult, of men and women who are victims of brutal violence, of the elderly and the sick killed by indifference or out of misguided mercy.  Grant that all who believe in  your Son may proclaim the Gospel of life with honesty and love to the people of our time.  Obtain for them the grace to accept that Gospel as a gift ever new, the joy of celebrating it with gratitude throughout their lives, and the courage to bear witness to it resolutely, in order to build, together with all people of good will, a civilization of truth and love, to the praise and glory of God, the Creator and lover of life.  Amen.

Jan 4- America, your very future as a nation depends on your willingness to protect the Right to Life of the most defenseless in your society. Join pro-life today.

Jan 11- “There is no cause more important for preserving freedom than affirming the transcendent right to life of all human beings, the right without which no other rights have any meaning.”–Pres. Ronald Reagan

Jan 18- The war on the unborn is never-ending.  In the first century it was stated: The difference between the way of life and the way of death is great.  Therefore, do not murder a child by abortion or kill a newborn infant.  In 1973 America decriminalized abortion and perfected the methods of killing the unborn. Pray to end abortion and euthanasia.

Jan 25- Just because something happens to be legal does not make it moral, ethical or right.  Abortion is perhaps one of the most dramatic examples of a situation where something is legal (decriminalized) but is very much a sin against God and against humanity.

Feb 1- Abortion is at the core of the “affordable health care” act.  We need affordable health care, but not at the expense of the unborn, the elderly, and the infirm.   Pray that our legislators will deliver to us affordable health care without abortion and euthanasia.

Feb 8- If the pro-death forces were not in control of the press, I am convinced that not only would the debate on abortion be over by now.  The Pro-Life side would be victorious because we would have seen the pictures every night on television of what is taking place behind the doors of the abortion clinics and hospitals.  Pray for an end of abortion and euthanasia.

Feb 15- “Abortion is the only surgery for which the surgeon is not obligated to inform the patient of the possible risks of the procedure, or even the exact nature of the procedure.  Indeed, abortion providers are the only medical personnel who have a ‘constitutional right’ to withhold information, even when directly questioned by the patient.”
–David Reardon, Aborted Women: Silent No More

Feb 22- Worldwide, it has been estimated that there have been more than 1.73 BILLION abortions over the last 42 years..  This is a trend that is not lessening but growing exponentially as more countries embrace and legalize abortion.  We must pray and work to end abortion and euthanasia

March 1- “Some people argue that changing laws will not eliminate abortions.  It is certainly true that a change of heart is more important than a change of law.  What is forgotten, however, is that the law is the great teacher.  Children grow up believing that if a practice is legal, it must be moral.”–Cardinal John O’Connor

March 8- “Even if abortion were made easy or painless for everyone, it wouldn’t change the bottom-line problem that abortion kills children.”  And it destroys God’s plan for that child in this world.  It wounds families and the future of our nation.–Randy Alcorn

March 15- Prayer paves the way.  Action possesses the land.  We must have pro-life action to win the war against the culture of death.

March 22- “… the temptation grows to have recourse to euthanasia, that is, to take control of death and bring it before its time,  ending one’s own life or the life of others.  In reality, what might seem logical and humane, when looked at more closely is seen to be senseless and inhumane.  Here we are faced with one of the more alarming symptoms of the ‘culture of death’.”  Please pray to end the culture of death. St. John Paul II

March 29- Many times truth and justice are compromised by the desire to avoid offending anyone! This applies to those of us who may be afraid to speak the truth about abortion.  Let us pray for God’s courage to always speak the truth in defending the culture of life.

April 5- He who denies that human life begins with conception does not need to contend with religion, but science. To deny this certainty of biology is not to express a lack of faith, but a lack of basic knowledge of human genetics.  Abortion destroys a human life that has great potential.

April 12- Our nation should be bound to repent at once!  Let the oppressed be born and admit them to all the rights and privileges of others.  God help us to turn from complacency. So many have given up and have run away. Let us run to the fight and end abortion and euthanasia.  Join pro-life today..

April 19- “Every time stem cells are obtained from a human embryo, the inner cell mass is destroyed, along with an innocent human person…There is no ethical way to obtain stem cells from a human embryo–and there are no exceptions to this statement.”–Fr. Joseph Howard, Jr., M.Div., Director, American Bioethics Advisory Commission

April 26- We must appreciate the dignity of life in all its seasons, even the path of the elderly in the twilight of their years, to work toward the day when every child, born and unborn, is welcomed to life and protected by law.

May 3- Regarding abortion and euthanasia:  “Do all the good you can, by all the means you can, in all the ways you can, in all the places you can, at all the times you can, to all the people you can, as long as ever you can!”  John Wesley’s rule for Christian living.

May 10- How easily we can rationalize something: “If a woman plans to terminate her pregnancy, she commonly refers to the life within her as the ‘fetus’.  But if she intends to deliver and love and care for the little child, she affectionately calls him ‘my baby’.”  Lord, please bring an end to the culture of death.–Dr. James C. Dobson

May 17- Abortion should be listed as a weapon of mass destruction against the voiceless.  The TRUE Pro-life citizen does not just wish or hope for an end to abortion, they pray and work for it!

May 24- “Abraham Lincoln recognized that we could not survive as a free land when some men could decide that others were not fit to be free and should therefore be slaves. Likewise, we cannot survive as a free nation when some men decide that others are not fit to live and should be abandoned to abortion or infanticide.”    Join the fight to end abortion and euthanasia.  President Ronald Reagan

May 31- Whether by pill or invasive surgery, abortion is never good for women.  Pray for a healing for all who have had an abortion that they will be open to God’s love and forgiveness.

June 7- “Nothing we do to defend the human person, no matter how small, is ever unfruitful or forgotten. Our actions touch other lives and move other hearts in ways we can never fully understand in this world. Don’t ever underestimate the beauty and power of the witness you give in your pro-life work.”   Archbishop Charles Chaput  Pray for an end to abortion and euthanasia.

June 14- No matter how many arrows are thrown at you, how much criticism you receive, or how many so-called friends you lose because you’re defending life, it’s all worth it.  Continue to fight the culture of death.

June 21- The promises of the Declaration of Independence are not just for the strong, the independent, the healthy. They are for everyone-including unborn children.

June 28- Nearly four thousand innocent lives are taken by surgical abortion each day in this land of the free and home of the brave, whose lady holds high the torch of welcome to human life.  What hypocrisy that a nation that welcomed human beings from all over the world now destroys their own preborn citizens.

July 5- “Human rights are not a privilege conferred by government.  They are every human being’s entitlement by virtue of his humanity.  The right to life does not depend, and must not be contingent, on the pleasure of anyone else, not even a parent or sovereign… you must weep that your own government, at present, seems blind to this truth.”–Mother Teresa of Calcutta

July 12- Do we believe in the Bible?  Do we really believe in the Bible?  God said “I knew you before you were born”.  Every baby aborted is God’s creation sent into this world to be a future priest, pastor, doctor, lawyer, etc.   Abortion is saying no to God’s plans for the future of our nation.

July 19- “We are facing an enormous and dramatic clash between the culture of death and the culture of life.  We find ourselves in the midst of this conflict.  We are all involved and we all share in it, with the inescapable responsibility of choosing to be unconditionally pro-life.”  St. John Paul II

July 26- Our sewers run red with the blood of 57.5  million pre-born babies.  God judges nations.  Blood has a voice and it cries for vengeance.  Blood is in hot pursuit of America.  It is running in torrents down our streets.  No one is safe, no place is secure.  Abortion has blinded our eyes. Lord, grant that we will return to the culture of life.

August 2- Prominent defenders of abortion rights publicly admit that abortion kills human beings.  There is simply no debate among honest, informed people that abortion kills a distinct human being.  We must end abortion and euthanasia now!  Our future as a nation depends on it.

August 9- Let us pray for medical personnel who are involved in the destruction of human life through abortion and euthanasia.  May they have the courage to turn away from destroying life and return to the practice of protecting and healing all life.

August 16- Be pro-life.  The pre-born cannot speak in defense of themselves.  The only voice they have is yours.  Join pro-life today.

August 23-Many who claim to be Christian have been silent for most of the past 42 years.  Worldwide, by our silence, we have betrayed billions of  boys and girls to their savage death.  When we remain silent about abortion we endorse it.

August 30- Appropriate four letter words for pro-lifers:  LOVE-Love the unborn; OBEY-Obey God’s Commandments “Thou shalt not kill”; PRAY-Pray to end abortion and euthanasia; WORK-Join the pro-life movement and work to end abortion and euthanasia; GIVE-Give your support to pro-life organizations; LOOK-Look around you to see what you can do for the pro-life movement.

September 6- “Let me tell you why I believe abortion is the crucial issue of our age. First, because abortion, too, is about living within the truth. The right to life is the foundation of every other human right. If that right is not inviolate, then no right can be guaranteed. Or to put it more bluntly: Homicide is homicide, no matter how small the victim.”  Archbishop Charles Chaput  Join pro-life today.

September 13- “If a physician presumes to take into consideration in his work whether life has value or not, the consequences are boundless and the physician becomes the most dangerous man in the state.”–Dr. Christoph Hufeland, Germany, 1762-1836.    Through abortion on demand, the state has given physicians this power and now they are killing the infirm and elderly.

September 20- There’s a difference between interest and commitment.  When you’re interested in doing something,  you do it only when it’s convenient.  When you’re committed to something, you accept no excuses; only results.  Good intentions are not enough; the road to hell is paved with good intentions.  Don’t delay.  Be committed; join the pro-life movement today.

September 27- The sperm and the egg are alive at conception; they become human life.  Any demise after that point, for any reason ends a human life.  When human life begins is not a theory, it’s scientific fact.  Pray and work to end abortion.

October 4- Conception is the beginning of human life. From the time that an ovum is fertilized a new life begins that is neither that of the father nor of the mother. It is rather the life of a new human being with his/her own humanity.  It could never become human if it were not human already.  Pray and work to end abortion and euthanasia.

October 11- “The fundamental human right, the presupposition of every other right, is the right to life itself. This is true of life from the moment of conception until its natural end. Abortion, consequently, cannot be a human right — it is the very opposite. It is a deep wound in society.”  Pope Benedict XVI   Pray to end abortion.

October 18- Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn said:  “In keeping silent about evil, in burying it so deep within us that no sign of it appears on the surface, we are implanting it, and it will rise up a thousand fold in the future.”  This certainly applies to abortion and euthanasia today.

October 25- To silence faith is to silence the moral conscience of our nation.  Our Christian faith is under attack.  We must be more courageous in defending Christ and His Church, now more than ever before. We must also defend His precious unborn, infirm, and elderly.

November 1- “When we elect our lawmakers in America, we influence the moral character of this nation for better or for worse.  When our laws permit violence against little babies, incidents like the Columbine High School shootings are the logical outcome.”  This proves what Mother Teresa said, that if there is no respect for the child in the womb, there will be no respect for any life.

November 8- Why should we speak out against abortion and euthanasia?  Because Abraham Lincoln once said:  “To sin by silence when they should protest makes cowards of men.”    Our silence is giving the culture of death the upper hand.  Stand up, speak out, and join pro-life today!

November 15- Regarding abortion: Take sides!  Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim.  Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented.  Yours is the only voice the unborn have.  Join pro-life today.

November 22- No matter how many arrows are thrown at you, how much criticism you receive, or how many so-called friends you lose because you’re defending life, it’s all worth it.  Continue to fight the culture of death.

November 29- As we anticipate the birth of the Christ Child, the Son of God who came into the world to bring His joy, peace, love, mercy, and forgiveness, let us pray for all who have had an abortion or who participated in this practice that they will seek our Lord’s forgiveness and mercy and truly have peace and joy this Christmas.

December 6- Abortion and euthanasia are here now.  “Nothing and no one can in any way permit the killing of an innocent human being, whether a fetus or an embryo, an infant or an adult, an old person or one suffering from an incurable disease, or a person who is dying.”. St. John Paul II   Pray for the  return of the respect of all life.

December 13- If God sent His Son into the world today, how long before an ill-informed friend or doctor would say that child is unwanted-abort him.  Thank God for Mary’s yes to His plan.  Lord, grant that we will have the same openness to God’s will for us.

December 20- Are we prepared to follow the way of the Lord?  Are we willing to follow Mary’s example and say ‘yes’ to God’s will in our lives?  God wants to live in our hearts and our souls.  He wants to live in us, give us His peace, His love, His mercy.  Let us respond as did Mary-let it be done to me according to your Word.   Merry Christmas

December 27- When life and family are not treasured and preserved in a society, collapse on all fronts is inevitable.  Sadly, this statement applies to America today.  Pray for an end to the culture of death.

  1. Just wondering if you were going to have 2016 Bulletin Inserts?
Editor: Thank you for your interest in the pro-life corner bulletin inserts. We hope to have it ready in 5 to 7 working days.

  2. PSALM 119:154 Defend my cause and redeem me; preserve my life according to your promise.

What could possibly make the angles cry?
I think that I know one answer that makes God and the angels weep. Please watch the following video and listen to the song lyrics to find out.

My name is Jeremy. I am a Producer/Songwriter in Nashville, TN. I grew up in Ecuador where my parents were missionaries.

I have written a song that embraces and advocates life. I am hoping that this song and video would be helpful to you to use in your ministry to encourage others and to draw awareness to the truth of how important life truly is.

I have included two links; one to SoundCloud and the other to YouTube for the music video. I am not asking for anything except that if you do like the video/song that you would share it with your family, friends, and members of your church.

I originally wasn’t even going to produce this song, but I felt God directing me to produce it and share it. I would love to know what you think, but I understand that you may not be able to reply as life is sometimes very busy. Thanks for your time.
