“Forest Of The Witches” is A Fantasy Adventure 30 Years in the Making
Updated information in this review.
ProLifeCorner- Annarae – It might seem strange to see a review of a book titled “Forest of the Witches” presented on the Pro Life Corner, but this is a delightful and adventurous book that will appeal to early teens and adults alike. With witches in the title you might think it’s another typical adventure geared toward kids and having an occult theme. Not So!!
The tale begins with 11 year old Patrick at the bedside of his dying grandfather. Grandfather gives Patrick a bag of magic jelly beans so he will be able to go through the Forest of the Witches to the Valley of the Leprechauns in search of the pot of gold. When Grandfather passes away, young Patrick embarks on the most dangerous adventure of his young life. On his journey, he encounters many evil characters, wild animals, and many more tribulations. But Patrick doesn’t travel alone. Along the way he discovers he has his own guardian angel to assist him. Together they battle many evil forces and the magic jelly beans come in handy in surprising ways. Each page seems to get more exciting and sometimes scary, but it’s hard to put the book down. You just want to find out what happens next. Continue reading →
ProLifeCorner- Sun Sept 27 2015- “See what you have stored up for yourselves against the last days.”
Today, in light of the 2nd reading from the Apostle, St. James, I’m going to talk about time, talent and treasure, each briefly and separately.
It happens in every parish: The pastor has a new project in mind — a religious education program for teenagers, a Thanksgiving dinner for the poor, or a food and clothing collection for the local shelter. The pastor then approaches parishioners to help out. It’s a tough sell: People are very protective of their time, they’re not sure this is something they want to do or are comfortable being involved with, or they doubt they have the abilities and patience necessary for this kind of work. But, eventually, a group of volunteers — however reluctant — comes together.Continue reading →

Awesome “pro-choice” defense of Planned Parenthood
ProLifeCorner – 9 -24 -2015 – LifeNews has just made a fantastic video showing the evil of PP. Be sure you watch this to the end. You might think the title and the beginning are not what you want to read, but trust us, it really tells the story of how impossible it is to defend Planned Parenthood.
Numerous people are confused and are asking question about the forthcoming new annulment procedures. Much of this is due to the misinformation put out by the secular media who really do not understand what they are talking about and presumably do not care what they say. While the new procedures do not go into effect until late this year, and a lot still needs to be done on the local levels, here is some of the basics about what is going on.
First and foremost, the Church is not changing any rules, requirements and regulations on marriage in spite of what you might read in the secular newspapers. What is changing are the procedures for obtaining a “decree of nullity,” commonly known as an annulment. This does not change any of the requirements for the validity of a Catholic marriage nor the reasons for obtaining a degree of nullity. But the new procedures will make the process faster, simpler and possibly less expensive. Continue reading →
ProLifeCorner.com – 9-23-2015 – by Annarae- Is it any wonder our country is headed on the fast track to destruction when 10 and 11 year old girls are being given birth control devices? And without their parents’ permission on top of it! Who will pay the medical bills when the child becomes ill from the birth control? Her parents! And who will pay for the physical and mental complications of an abortion if the birth control fails, which is common? Again, her parents! Who will be responsible for the psychological problems that undoubtedly will result when a very young girl is having sex with older men who will take complete advantage of her youth and naiveté? Of course the bills and the resulting pain of seeing their daughter destroyed before their eyes will fall once again on the unsuspecting parents. The people responsible for this travesty of common sense is the school system and our government, through Medicaid. This means we taxpayers, against our will and better judgment, end up paying for this horror. Continue reading →

Love Is Our Response to Planned Parenthood
On Tuesday, Sept. 15, the 10th video in a series was released exposing Planned Parenthood’s sale of baby parts for profit. In this video we see Planned Parenthood executives bragging “Everything we provide is fresh”, including eyes, hearts, and gonads. Past undercover videos have shown Planned Parenthood employees covering up child abuse, taking money to specifically abort minority children, providing cover for those who profit in the sex-trafficking industry, covering up sex selection abortions, committing Medicaid fraud, and treating human beings as commodities that can be killed and sold like animals in a slaughter house. Planned Parenthood is in the business of ending human lives and to do this they dehumanize children in the womb. Continue reading →
ProLifeCorner- By Larry Plachno- Why does the Main Stream Media Censor News? This question came up recently in regard to the videos showing Planned Parenthood selling baby body parts. Anyone who looks at the situation knows that the Main Stream Media regularly ignores, censors and bends the news to suit its own agenda and morals. But the really interesting question is not what they do but why they do it. Give me a few minutes of your time and I will explain the “why.”
The examples of this are far too numerous to mention. Recently, the most glaring example is that while the videos came out showing Planned Parenthood selling baby body parts for profit, sometimes cut from babies still breathing, most of the networks were concerned about Cecil the lion. We regularly hear about endangered species of animals and the work being done to increase their numbers. But, the MSM has little to say about nationalities whose numbers drop in half each generation because they have turned away from marriage and family. And, don’t hold your breath waiting for the MSM to do a program on how the best indicator that someone will end up in prison is being raised without the guidance of a father. Continue reading →
