An Open Letter To the Illinois Republican Party

An Open Letter To the Illinois Republican Party

To the Illinois Republican Party,

Illinois Republican Party Chairman Tim Schneider has publicly declared in a statement concerning Gov. Rauner signing HB40,

“There is no daylight between Governor Rauner and the Illinois Republican Party and we will continue working hard to ensure his reelection.”      https://illinois.gop/ilgop-chairman-tim-schneider-statement-hb40/

The members of the Rockford Pro-Life Initiative and our supporters find this unacceptable..

  1. Gov. Rauner signed HB40 that forces taxpayers to pay for the killing of children by abortion. It has been estimated this could increase the number of children killed by abortion by 3000 to 12,000 babies a year.  And we are told by Illinois Republican Party Chairman Tim Schneider, “There is no daylight between Governor Rauner and the Illinois Republican Party and we will continue working hard to ensure his reelection.”
  2. Gov. Rauner gave his word to Cardinal Cupich that he would not sign HB40.  Rauner lied to the Cardinals face. He lied to all of us and his lie will result in the death of countless thousands of children. And we are told by Illinois Republican Party Chairman Tim Schneider, “There is no daylight between Governor Rauner and the Illinois Republican Party and we will continue working hard to ensure his reelection.”
  3. We are told that Gov. Rauner is a fiscal conservative who will fix the state budget. Gov Rauner is forcing the tax payer to ultimately pump hundreds of millions of tax payer dollars into the abortion industry to viciously and brutally dismember children in the womb. And we are told by Illinois Republican Party Chairman Tim Schneider, “There is no daylight between Governor Rauner and the Illinois Republican Party and we will continue working hard to ensure his reelection.”

By his actions Illinois Republican Party Chairman Tim Schneider is telling us all that the money Gov. Rauner gives to Republican candidates who are running for office is more important than the lives of tens of thousands of children that Gov. Rauner wants us to pay the bill to have killed by abortion.

We are told Gov. Rauners money excuses his directly lying to our religious leaders and all of us. We are also being told their is “no daylight” exists between the Illinois Republican Party and Gov. Rauners policy of taxpayer funded abortion.

What Tim Schneider and Gov. Rauner are really telling us is that there is “no daylight” between the Illinois Republican party and baby killing and they have completely rejected the light of Christ and the light of common decency.

We the members of the Rockford Pro-Life Initiative will not support or vote for a political party who’s leaders support the taxpayer funded killing of children and has completely rejected the light of Christ & life.

  1. I’m sure the Republican bigwigs are telling themselves that if Rauner wins the primary these pro-lifers will vote for him because they have no other choice. I don’t know one pro-life person who will ever vote for Rauner under any circumstances.

We have been betrayed long enough. To read Party Chairman Tim Schneider say, “There is no daylight between Governor Rauner and the Illinois Republican Party and we will continue working hard to ensure his reelection” makes me sick.

  2. We have a fantastic alternative to Gov. Rauner in William J. Kelly.
Kelly is 100% pro-life, a true conservative, and a good man.

No matter where you live in Illinois if any politician in your area supports Gov. Rauner you need to let them know you won’t vote for politicians who support baby killers.
We have to change this party and Kelly will be a great start.

  3. From Kirk to Rauner I’m tired of pro-abortion Republicans. I don’t think I can vote for any Republicans anymore. This party chairman said it all. No difference between Rauner and the party. So our tax dollars will now pay to kill persons in the womb and the party chairman complains he doesn’t like it but is backing Rauner all the way.

Didn’t Pontius Pilate complain that Jesus was innocent but condemned Him anyway.
The “chairman” knows the babies do not deserve to die but he support the man who wants them dead.
