Pregnancy Center of Green County Fundraiser

ProLifeCorner-  Monroe WI-   Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser to Benefit the Pregnancy Center of Green County. The Pregnancy Center’s upcoming Spaghetti Supper Fundraiser?   This fundraiser is scheduled for Monday – February 2, 2015 at the Hope Community Center from 4:30pm – 8:00pm.  Please tell your churches, coworkers, family and friends.

God has given us a vision for 2015 that includes the hiring of a Client Services Director/Sexual Risk Avoidance Specialist.  He not only brought forth a very well-equipped young woman for this position who was hired 01/20/15 but He has also brought forth new volunteers to cover the main office of the Pregnancy Center to enable her and me to get out into the community to promote our new Sexual Risk Avoidance Program.  We are praying for God’s blessings on our fundraisers to raise the funds needed to not only cover this position but the training, workbooks, laptop, DVD player and other supplies needed to implement this program.    Continue reading

God Is Good

ProLifeCorner – 12-12-14 – by Staff –  On December 17 of 2013 we shared with our readers and asked their prayers for a young man, Matt,  severly burned in a fire.  We are so pleased to present the following letter from Matt’s sister telling us of his progress since then.  What a joyous Christmas gift for Matt and his family.  His recovery is nothing short of a miracle and the answer to many prayers.  Good news is hard to come by these days, and this is one article we rejoice in being able to report. He Is on His Way

Jesus is the Reason for the Season      He is on His way- let us rejoice and be glad in the Lord.

ProLifeCorner-  We “always feel it an obligation to remind people about the reason for the season of Advent and Christmas. Do not get caught up too much in the presents, sales gimmicks, pressures to have to have the perfect Christmas. Jesus gave us the greatest present we could ever have Received – his very self. Because God became man, we can know that He wants to be with us all the time. How much time do you spend with Him? Could you spend more time with Him this season?” Continue reading

CCHD: It’s That Time of Year Again

2014 CCHD Catholic Campaign for Human Development report.

From ChurchMilitant.tv- It’s that time of year again – the Catholic Campaign for Human Development is going to be asking for YOUR money . . . and they’ll be spending it on things against the faith!

ProLifeCorner editors note:  As Michael Voris will explain in the short video below the problem with the CCHD has gone on for many years and they have been misappropriating funds by giving money to pro-abortion and radical left-wing groups; money which has been given to them in good faith. After you watch Michael’s video return to this page and follow the link below to an article we wrote back in November of 2012 exposing this problem. And then see the Michael Voris and the ALL (American life league) video on that page which explains in great detail the misappropriations of funds by the CCHD. Continue reading

Let’s Thank Our Shepherds!

Too often, too many of us take our shepherds for granted; shepherds who have dedicated their lives in the service of God’s people; shepherds who lead us and guide us along the straight and narrow for the sake of our eternal life; shepherds who share in our grief and loss and hurts and disappointments and family issues; shepherds who are available to us 24/7 – in the wee hours of the night, at our hospital bed, during crisis and at our graveside. When did you last thank your pastor, priest, deacon, nun or religious? When did you last offer some encouragement, do something special, drop them a note or even just say thank you! They may be shepherds, but they are also human, and they too face the challenges of life. The typical parish priest works every weekend and holiday, lives in the same building as their office, gets one day off a week, not to mention they’re being asked to care for more souls and take on more responsibilities and roles than ever before. Here are some suggestions in thanking your priest/Pastors. Continue reading
