Prayer for our Pastor

Prayer for our Pastor

Lord Jesus, Eternal High Priest, we worship You, our Head.

We thank You for our pastor who shares in Your one Priesthood, who acts in Your stead, and who is the instrument of bringing Your Presence to us.

Strengthen him, Lord, in times of trial, be his consolation in times of loneliness and give him the joy of seeing the fruits of his labors.

I will pray for him and assist him as I am able, for You bring many graces and blessings to me through him.

Amen. Continue reading

ProLifeCorner-  Rockford Pro-life Lnitiative- Friends, please watch this video that shows us clearly what we are dealing with in our progressive-godless western culture.

Satan is showing his face and it is up to us to pray and take a public stand in this coming year against the forces of the culture of death, sin, and satan.

The Satanists proceeded to cover the statue with a powdery substance and what appeared to be fake blood. With their hands and the statue covered in blood, they “prayed” an anti-rosary. The whole Satanic sacrilege lasted less than 30 minutes.

O, merciful God, we cry to Thee for pardon and for mercy.

The Trinity 200xWe are “an unbelieving and perverse generation.”

We are disobedient, disloyal and ungrateful to Thee.

We have excluded Thee from our homes, our schools, our business places.

We are no longer worthy to be called Thy children.

But Merciful God, spare America!

We now “render to Caesar” the things that are God’s, especially Thy right to create life.

We now commit millions of abortion killings each year, which our highest court, as it attempts to “play God” has “legalized” as the law of our land.

We now “out-Herod Herod” in this wholesale slaughter of the innocents.

Truly, we now can be called “the new barbarians” as we wage unholy war against Thee and against the helpless unborn.

We profess to be a Christian nation, but in reality we have “become more pagan than the pagans” in our way of living.

But merciful God, spare America!

Forgive us! Save us from the scourge we justly deserve.

Teach us Thy law, and move our wills to serve Thee henceforth.

There are many in this vast land who still acknowledge Thee to be our God.

We believe, hope and trust in Thee; We worship, honor, adore, glorify, praise and love Thee.

Above all, we need Thee as none had needed Thee before.

For the sake of all these “little souls,” who truly love and need Thee;

For the sake of Thy Most Beloved Son, Jesus Christ, who shed his Precious Blood to redeem us;

For the sake of Mary Thy Blessed Mother and ours, who pleads for us with a Sorrowful and Immaculate heart;

For the sake of Thy great Mercy, which is above all Thy works, and which endures forever .

O merciful God, please spare America! Amen.

The Four Mysteries of the Holy Rosary

The Four Mysteries of the Holy Rosary

ProLifeCorner-   To our dear friends who do not understand the prayer which is called the Holy Rosary. Some only hear the repetitive prayers of the Hail Mary; however the Rosary is a meditative prayer. It consists of four different mysteries: The Joyful Mysteries, the Sorrowful Mysteries, the Glorious Mysteries, and more recently the Luminous Mysteries, which were added by Pope John Paul II.

 We like to say “to Jesus through Mary.”  The prayers of the Rosary should be said while meditating upon the life of our Lord, given to us through Holy Scripture and sacred tradition.

In saying the Rosary, Mary invites us to join her on a journey through the life of Jesus.

We are placing these Rosary videos on our prayer page for the convenience of those who like to pray the Rosary. It is also our sincere desire that Christians of other denominations can be exposed to these mysteries and realize that the Rosary is just not a series of repetitive prayers, but a means that will draw us closer to the Lord and hopefully inspire us with a strong desire to turn to the Holy Bible in order to see what else our Lord wants to reveal to us through the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the printed words of the Bible. His Name

 At Christmas time I heard His name

 Drowned out by every toy and game

 For “Santa Claus” had so beguiled

 My child’s heart, then beating wild.

Then soon I heard His name in song,

 In hymns that echoed far and long

 Across the threshold of my years,

 Yet bringing neither joy nor tears.

His name I heard from angry lips

 Pronounced in hate – and mundane quips,

 As meaningless as wind and rain

 Upon a battered weathervane.

And then one day He came to me

 To set my captive spirit free;

 And now His name is wondrous fair!

 Like sounds of spring upon the air!

Oh Jesus, Jesus, name so sweet

 Making all my days complete;

 Above all names His name will be

 My Door to Life eternally.

Pray the Rosary

ProLifeCorner-    “And in the morning, a great while before day, He rose and went out to a lonely place, and there He prayed.”

Our Lady of Fátima is a famous title given to the Blessed Virgin Mary as she appeared in five apparitions reported by three shepherd children at Fátima in Portugal. These occurred on the 13th day of each month in 1917, starting on May 13th and ending on October 13th , but excluding August, when the three children were incarcerated. The three children were Lúcia dos Santo,  who died recently at age 95, and her two cousins Jacinta and Francisco Marto, who both died shortly after the apparitions, but who have since been beatified by the Holy Catholic Church.
