Are We Living in an Era of Heaven and Hell on Earth?
ProLifeCorner- By Larry Plachno
The demography coming out of the recent 2016 Presidential election is suggesting that we are living in an era of Heaven and Hell on earth. This is bringing up several questions: What is the cause of why areas are different? Is Christianity more than just a religion? And how important is traditional marriage to society?
For many years now, the demographers have been telling us that you can predict elections based on an area’s fertility rate – effectively the interest in bringing children into our world. Areas with a high fertility rate tend to elect conservative candidates and vote for conservative issues. Areas with a low fertility rate tend to elect liberal candidates and vote for liberal issues.
In recent years these differences have become increasingly polarized and more sharply defined. For decades now, families have been moving out of the inner cities and into suburban and rural areas. At the same time, singles have moved into the big cities for education, employment or activities. The differences between the two areas have become increasingly obvious. Continue reading →
ProLifeCorner.com – 1-18-2017 – by Editor – Roe v Wade is, as Fr. Timothy Barr states in his homily, a black eye on America. With one out of every three babies aborted in America each day, we truly do have an obligation to defend life, end abortion, and defund Planned Parenthood, whose outreach extends worldwide. Our own government has been denying aid in cases of disasters such as earthquakes, floods, etc., to countries who refuse to accept abortion and artificial birth control in their land. Sadly, America has become one of the largest purveyors of the culture of death in the world by spreading this anti-life agenda far and wide.
Please take a few minutes and listen to the wisdom and courage of Fr. Timothy Barr.
ProLifeCorner – 1-15- 2017 – by Rockford Pro-Life Initiative – This January is the five year anniversary of the closing of the Rockford abortion mill – and abortion supporters will be marching in Rockford.
On Saturday, January 21st, a so-called ‘Women’s March Rockford’ will take place in our city with one of its major goals being the promotion of abortion. This march in Rockford is a coordinated event with similar marches taking place in many cities across the country. They will be pushing a leftist political agenda, promoting abortion, and trying to protect Planned Parenthood from budget cuts. Some of the sponsoring pro-abortion organizations for these marches include: Continue reading →

Whether we accept the fact or not, the reality is that the United States is in the midst of an undeclared Civil War. One side believes in good and evil and life while the other side believes in choice and abortion. Huge amounts of time, energy and money are involved as the two sides battle each other in politics, legislation and morals.
Are we heading for a bloody civil war over abortion? More than 600,000 Americans lost their lives in the American Civil War fighting over slavery and whether it was right to set aside good and evil to declare groups as inferior. While our country has been involved in other wars, none of them matches the Civil War in the number of deaths. It was easily the most deadly and bloodiest war in our nation’s history and it took place on our own soil.
Even prior to the recent Presidential election there was substantial talk about our country being polarized into two different camps with abortion as a major difference between the two. While there are differences other than abortion, the killing of unborn babies has become a key point between the two sides, much like slavery. Following the election, these differences are again in the news and the possibility of a civil war has been mentioned numerous times. Continue reading →
Written By John Biver- The First Amendment to the United States Constitution states:: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
It seems that our nation’s founding fathers were not clear enough with their use of language in the First Amendment, which protects some of our God-given rights. That “make no law” thing is confusing for many, and that “abridging” business, well, that’s way over the heads of Illinois Leftist lawmakers.
In Illinois, our governor and General Assembly have now taken up the task of telling people what they can’t say. Reparative therapy is now against the law. So anyone seeking help to escape unwanted same-sex attraction or gender confusion are going to have to find a state where therapists retain their freedom of speech. Continue reading →

As a Canadian citizen he has worked tirelessly to improve standards of life in Canada and throughout the Americas, but after you read this article you’ll see why we should all adopt Mark as a true US citizen as well. Few people could have put this as well as he has.

IF I WAS AMERICAN, I’D WRITE TO PRESIDENT TRUMP
Although I’m not American, I have a deep an abiding love for America: I want the best for that great nation. I’ve been thinking about ways to promote a moral shift in America that the New Administration can encourage toward a national life-affirming consensus: A consensus that seeks a place for unwanted unborn children and ways to support their parents. It’s official: Donald Trump is the Next President of the United States
ProLifeCorner- Frank J. Munda
Donald Trump received 304 electoral votes. Donald Trump took 36 of the 38 electoral votes in Texas. Reuters reported that at least five Clinton electoral refused to vote for her. The interesting thing is, those on the left tried to get Republicans to defect and cast their vote for Hillary but more Democrats defected than Republicans. Two Republicans defected and voted against Trump, although not for Hillary.
It has been stated “The founding fathers “said the electoral college was not to elect a demagogue, was not to elect someone influenced by foreign powers, was not to elect someone who is unfit for office.” If that’s the case Obama should have never been president and Hillary should not have been able to run.
