Having the freedom to choose whether or not an unborn person is to be killed is not a right that can be justified morally or legally. No one has the right to destroy the life of another person. Pray to end abortion. January 9 Did you know that in America over 46,000,000 surgical abortions have been legally performed since 1973? That’s several more million than the combined populations of Panama, Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua. January 16 People used slaves to enhance their ‘quality of life’ but did so at the expense of those in bondage. Men have often used women to live their lives as they wanted. If the woman becomes pregnant, she must have an abortion so he can use her again. This is a new kind of slavery, all done under the façade of “choice”. January 23 Being personally against abortion but favoring another’s right to abortion is contradictory and baffling. It’s like saying that we’re personally against child abuse but we defend our neighbor’s right to abuse his child if that is his choice. As a society we do not condone child abuse; then why do we condone the ultimate child abuse-abortion? January 30 Did you know that on the Internet there is a memorial called the Blackmun Wall listing the names and stories of the documented 347 women who have died from so-called “safe and legal” abortions? How many thousand undocumented victims are there that we don’t hear about? Let’s pray for an end to the killing of both babies and mothers due to abortion. February 6 Each child is sent into this world by God with a unique message to deliver, a new song to sing, a personal act of love to bestow. Abortion destroys God’s plan for that child to affect the world. February 13 How can we de-fund the multi-million dollar big abortion industry? Our elected officials are public servants, not kings and queens. Unless we make demands, they will assume that the pro-death side speaks for us. We cannot and must not remain silent. As children of God, we must vote for moral, pro-life politicians at all levels of government. February 20 Nationally, Planned Parenthood receives an average of more than 180,000,000 of our tax dollars each year. Their net assets are in the hundreds of millions of dollars. All that money setting in their coffers for the purpose of killing babies and yet P.P. continues to demand more money from Congress. February 27 Abortion is a problem for every one of us; we are all one big family. Nobody can be neutral on abortion; it involves the destruction of an entire group of human beings! Just as we cannot be indifferent to the killing of a newborn baby, so we cannot be indifferent to the killing of a pre-born baby. We all share the responsibility for people who are in danger. Injustice to any person in this world is injustice to all! March 6 Abortion is justified by claiming the killing of babies is “safe and legal.” An abortionist and clinic owner said, “I just go by what the courts say. I only do what’s legal.” These were the same justifications used by “doctors” who participated in the massacre of millions at Auschwitz. Evil doesn’t change. March 13 In America’s death camps (abortuaries) dehumanizing terms are often used to describe a pregnancy, thereby desensitizing the public about abortion; terms like “unseen infection”, “a cancerous growth”, and the “termination of a pregnancy”. The language and action of abortion is evil. March 20 Abortion is a tragic mistake for all involved. The consequences on family relationships can be far-reaching and quite destructive. Yet there is nothing beyond God's capacity to heal and forgive. March 27 Many physicians are aware of the 26 research studies that say abortion increases the risk of breast cancer. But many refuse to acknowledge the evidence because of personal ideology or their own involvement in performing or referring patients for abortions. Regardless of personal ideology, is it possible that physicians who fail to inform their abortion-bound patients of the breast cancer risks could be held accountable? April 3 America will never be whole as long as the right to life granted by our Creator is denied to the unborn through abortion and the elderly through euthanasia. We are being desensitized. Who will be next; the handicapped, the person with the “wrong” political view, or skin tone, or religious belief? We are sliding down the “slippery slope” of death. April 10 Would that we, the children of light, were as industrious as the children of darkness. That is the challenge. For too long we have been silent, taught by our culture that faith is a private thing. It is time that we step forward and be witnesses to the truth in everything we do. We must speak out against abortion. April 17 Personal rights should end when exercise of them leads to endangering one’s own life or the lives of others; for example, drunk driving, drug addiction, murder, rape and abortion. April 24 Instead of trying to legalize the killing of patients in pain and depression, we should be making sure that doctors are taught and use effective pain management and to treat the depression which makes such persons suicidal in the first place. May 1 Abortion is not as safe as the pro-abortion forces would like for you to believe. There are well documented studies which indicate that abortion causes infection, hemorrhage, cervical tears, perforation of the uterus and other organs, sterility, breast cancer and death; this is just the mother’s risk. Death always occurs to the baby! May 8 The most important person on Earth is a mother...she has built something more magnificent than any cathedral-a dwelling for an immortal soul, the tiny perfection of her baby's body. May 15 Abortion is nothing more than a ‘choice’ to kill. Pray for all who have made the wrong ‘choice’, that they will find God’s forgiveness and love. Pray that we will have the courage to rise up in love and protect life from conception to natural death. May 22 Some try to say it’s “OK” that Planned Parenthood receives our tax dollars because they allege none of the tax dollars they receive are actually used to commit abortions. That is as foolish as saying it would have been “OK” to give Hitler our tax dollars as long as none of the tax dollars he received went to actually gas his victims. May 29 In a crisis pregnancy? Donate pro-life books to your local library, schools and churches. Publicize pro-life events. Donate money to pro-life groups. Help run a pro-life booth at a fair. Learn about RU 486 and other abortifacients; use the Internet to spread pro-life thoughts via e-mail. June 12 Many do not want to “interfere” with someone’s choice to have an abortion. Yet to them, it makes perfect sense to “interfere” with a person’s ‘choice’ to steal your car, burn your house, or kidnap your child! The fact is that some choices have victims, and when somebody’s choice destroys another’s life or rights, it’s everybody’s business. It is the business of all of us to intervene to save the unborn. June 19 Some baby’s die by chance; no baby should die by choice. Some choices are just wrong. Choose life. June 26 “The care of human life and not their destruction is the first and only object of good government.” Thomas Jefferson If we want to call ourselves a good and moral nation, then we must stop the legal killing of the pre-born and once again have government that protects all life. July 3 We pray that our great nation may return to respect for life, which is the law of God and a truth on which this nation was founded; the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness-for the born and unborn. July 10 There can be no democracy without virtue, and there can be no human activity divorced from the moral law. In the matters of the moral law, the Church does not have the right to be silent! As God’s people we must take a position against abortion, infanticide, and euthanasia. July 17 The truth is that abortion kills innocent human beings made in the image and likeness of God. Today we live in the midst of a national atrocity. Since the 1973 Supreme Court abortion decision, over 46,000,000 babies have been killed before they were born. July 24 What can I do to help stop abortion? Join a pro-life group, send letters to the editor and elected officials; even if they’re pro-life they need to hear from you, encourage priests, ministers, and rabbis to speak out against abortion, support local pregnancy centers, get on pro-life mailing lists, add the words “born and unborn” at the end of the Pledge of Allegiance. July 31 Asbestos is a killer. It’s been estimated that in the last 100 years 300,000 lives have been lost, and in the next twenty years an estimated 150,000 will die, due to it’s effects. Shocking? Yes and no; that many babies die every 4 months due to surgical abortion. That’s every 4 months, not 100 years. Now that’s shocking! August 7 If we really want to be compassionate, help give the mother the opportunity to choose life for her child. If we really love the mother who has an unwanted pregnancy, don't let her be exploited by an abortionist, someone who will make a profit from her dead baby, a memory that will haunt her for the rest of her life. August 14 There are laws against rape, burglary, armed robbery and illegal drug dealing, yet every one of these crimes continues to happen in our society. Does the fact that these crimes still happen inspire us to make them legal? Clearly not! Laws legalizing abortion have significantly influenced whether women choose to have abortions. In one survey, 72 percent said they would definitely not have sought an abortion if having one were illegal. August 21 The entire population of the world can fit into the state of Texas, with 1000 square feet per person, which is a slightly higher density than San Francisco, a slightly lower density than in the Bronx, NY. August 28 Our pro-life work is not only a matter of telling the truth about abortion; it’s also a matter of working to change public policy so the laws of our country will never allow the killing of innocent human life again. September 4 Based on “viability logic” many born people are not viable because they cannot survive on their own without the aid of others. Should we kill them too? Does this sound sick? Yes, it does. But that is the direction the culture of death is taking us. We must take a strong pro-life position now. September 11 In the time it takes to read this message, one baby will die by surgical abortion. One baby every twenty seconds, three per minute, 180 per hour, over 4000 per day die from abortion. That’s more deaths in one day than occurred at the WTC on 9/11/01. It is equivalent to a WTC loss every day of the year! This is the hidden war of terror being waged on the unborn in our country. September 18 What a pathetic people we are if we are willing to tolerate the killing of an entire group of people (the unborn) but then become outraged if someone displays the suffering of the aborted baby with graphic pictures. If it’s that horrible to look at or talk about then we should not allow it to continue. September 25 The IRS lists Planned Parenthood and other abortion mill operators as charitable organizations engaged in promoting health. Whose health? Certainly not the health of the hundreds of thousands of babies that they abort every year, and not the health of the women who suffer physical and emotional trauma from the abortion. October 2 Over 50 years ago Hitler tried to form a master race by killing the unwanted. As a result, millions of innocent people died. Today in America, people abort the unwanted babies for no more reason than sex selection or personal inconvenience for which over 46,000,000 babies have died. Are we any different than Hitler? October 9 People need to know that abortion is their business. People understand that we have to intervene to help the poor, the drug addict, and victims of crime. Even if we do not know their names we know it is our business to help them. There is no reason to isolate abortion in a category of it’s own where all the rules of human decency suddenly change. The death of a baby is our business. October 16 Pre-born children are the most oppressed people in the world today. In America approximately 4400 of them are killed every day by surgical abortion. That’s 1,500,000 every year. Worldwide 55,000,000 are killed every year and yet many of us so-called people of God remain silent. Join a pro-life group today. October 23 The deliberate killing of innocent persons, whether they be pre-born or born, through all forms of abortion, infanticide, euthanasia or any other means is considered to be unethical, immoral, evil, and is a direct interference in God’s plan for that soul. October 30 We cannot and must not remain silent about abortion. God’s babies are being killed by abortion right under our eyes. Please get involved and do your part to save innocent human life. God counts on us to be His instruments on earth! November 6 All across the world there has been a campaign to strip pre-born babies of their humanity. They have been called “blobs of tissue” and “products of conception”. These terms are meant to dehumanize the pre-born in order to make killing them more acceptable. We are called to be the light of the world, let us tell the world that abortion and euthanasia are no longer acceptable. November 13 It is said that a picture is worth a thousand words. No one knows this better than the advocates of abortion. That is why they so vehemently object to the pro-lifer’s use of pictures of aborted babies. America will not reject abortion until America sees abortion. November 20 Even with public opposition, tax-funded subsides for abortion continues. From 1987 through 2002 just ONE pro-abortion group received almost $2,500,000,000 tax dollars under Title X. How many poor families could have been fed, clothed, and given medical care with that tax money? Tens of thousands of homes could have been built to sustain and nurture life, and yet this money was used to destroy life through abortion. November 27 What can I do to help stop abortion? Pray daily. Read! Be more informed about abortion. Wear the precious feet pins, use pro-life bumper stickers, decals, use stickers on envelopes, wear pro-life T-shirts, take part in Life Chains, conduct prayer vigils, distribute pro-life literature in church and elsewhere, picket an abortuary, get involved in sidewalk counseling. December 4 If our elected officials don’t oppose killing children in the womb what makes us think our elected officials really care about educating them or protecting them from drug, sex, or any other abuse? We need more God loving and fearing politicians at all levels of government. December 11 Look around and see the spectacle of abortion. Tens of millions of the most innocent have been brutally slaughtered. Now we have euthanasia (the word means merciful death) and our old people have to worry that someone might be ‘merciful’ to them. Today perhaps you decide, tomorrow maybe a family member, after that who knows? Some government official? Who decides when you die? That choice belongs to God alone. December 18 Life is a gift that God has given us. That life is present in the unborn; no human hand should ever end that life. Surely the cries of the babes whose lives have been extinguished before their birth reach the ears of God. December 25 “And it came to pass, when Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary, that the babe in her womb leapt.” The first person in the world to welcome Jesus, to recognize Him in the womb of His own mother was a child, John the Baptist.
