A living being's designation to a species is determined not by the stage of development, but by the sum total of its biological characteristics. If we say that a fetus is not human, then we must state that it is a member of another species, which is an impossibility. What makes a human being human is that he/she came from humans. Thusly, how can we ever justify killing him or her by abortion?
