Thoughts for the DayIf we heard a mother abusing her child, and we knew the child's life was in danger, would we say " She's doing it in the privacy of her own home so she has the right to do this?" Or would we come to the child's rescue? Of course we would! Why then do we allow a mother to destroy her child by abortion in the "privacy" of her own womb? Upcoming events

Letter #3Editor I would like to respond to Susan Cain’s recent guest column. Her challenge to pro-lifers to adoptions has been used by pro-abortion advocates for over 30 years with no credence. We pro-lifers put our time and money where our mouth is. We support thousands of Catholic, Lutheran, and other Social Service organizations as well as thousands of Pregnancy Centers all over the country. Unlike Planned Parenthood, who receives millions of our taxpayer dollars every year to do their pro-death work, crisis pregnancy centers use only funds donated by private citizens and church organizations. The majority of staff and workers at CPC’s are volunteers. I recommend to any one, no matter what your perspective on this issue, that you take time and take a tour of the local Pregnancy Center and see for yourself the wonderful work they are doing, not only for the babies, but for the mothers and the children after birth. I ask the pro-abortion people- how can you reconcile pro-death (pro-abortion) with your anti-capital punishment stance? How do you feel about McVeigh, the man responsible for the Oklahoma City bombing? If the government executes McVeigh it will be the first Federal government execution in 37 years. Yet the Federal government allows the execution of 4400 babies every day through legalized abortion. If you compare the kill ratio of McVeigh to the abortionists, it will be 41,000,000:01. ----- Since this letter was written the government couldn’t execute McVeigh quick enough to satisfy the left’s lust for blood. printer-friendly version | login to post comments | 524 reads
