January 1- It's important to promote a culture of life. A hospitable society is a society where every being counts and every person matters. No child should be left behind, especially in a dumpster. O God, our Father, have mercy on us, a sinful nation who kills its unborn and show us the way to end this holocaust.

January 8- By abortion, the mother kills her own child to solve her 'problems'. And by abortion the father is told that he does not have to take any responsibility for the child he helped conceive. Therefore, that man is likely to put other women into the same situation. So abortion leads to abortion.

January 15- With almost 1,400,000 surgical abortions in the US every year and 50,000,000 abortions worldwide each year, have we forgotten that God has commanded us "Thou shall not kill"?

January 22- Roe v Wade is the Dred Scott of the 20th century and now the 21st. We must pray that the time will come when Roe v Wade is remembered only as a horrible reminder of what we as a nation once allowed. This is the time for a new abolitionism, the time to abolish the horrible practice of abortion. We must fight for the right to life, for the born and the unborn.

January 29- Abstinence versus premarital sex: There are two choices. Choice one is premarital sex. The potential side effects are the risk of unwanted pregnancy, gonorrhea, syphilis, herpes, AIDS, and other sexually transmitted diseases. Choice two is abstinence. The potential side effects are none of the above. Abstinence is the clear choice!

February 5- If you were my daughter, wife, sister, friend, I'd tell you not to have an abortion because the baby always dies, and you could suffer depression, suicidal thoughts, and increase your risk of breast cancer. Choose life.

February 12- Did you know that many of the so-called oral contraceptives are in reality abortifacients? What happens is this: after the egg is fertilized it cannot attach to the womb and therefore dies from the lack of nutrition.

February 19- Society does not allow a woman to kill her spouse, a child already born, neighbor, etc. What darkness has hold of us that we can rationalize the same woman killing her unborn baby and calling it "choice"? Pray to end abortion.

February 26- Words from a woman who had an abortion: "It was not like a doctor's appointment where you walk in and walk out and forget about it. With an abortion, you walk in, you walk out, and you remember it for the rest of your life...and you're tormented for the rest of your life." Pray for all women who have had an abortion, that they will be open to God's love and forgiveness.

March 5- The lives lost in the plagues and in all the wars since recorded history, do not match those killed by abortion worldwide. There has never been anything in human history to rival the destruction of innocent lives taken since legalized abortion was introduced.

March 12- As of March 2002, there have been 28 studies that show an increased risk of breast cancer in women who have had an abortion. Because the baby always dies and because of the increased risk to the mothers health, including cancer, hemorrhaging, depression, sterility and suicidal tendencies; those are many good reasons to bring God's baby to full term.

March 19- Abortion remains legal after 33 years and over 47,000,000 lives lost in the US because the pro-abortion forces have successfully denied the humanity of the baby in the womb. The secular media has successfully censored the Pro-Life message Often pulpits have remained silent for fear of upsetting someone while the culture of death grinds on and most go about their daily lives in oblivion. We must end this attack on the unborn.

March 26- First abortion, now euthanasia. For years, people who never asked to die have been quietly starved without much public attention, based on state laws and court opinions that permit third parties to make deadly decisions with little or no accountability. The outcry over the Schiavo case has awakened millions of Americans to the inhumanity of this practice. We must act to reverse this trend. We can't let the death of Terri be in vain.

April 2- Some claim they are free to believe that the unborn are not human lives. But to claim the right to destroy them by abortion is a different matter no longer involving only beliefs, but bloodshed, not only viewpoints, but also real victims. Believe what one may, that does not change the reality that it is human life in the womb. Abortion kills that life.

April 9- If a woman chooses abortion, it's a terminal situation for the baby. The mom needs love, support and understanding, not the pain of allowing herself to be violated in order to kill her baby. The helpless, innocent baby has no voice, no defense, and no chance, unless we offer real love and options to the mother. Pregnancy centers, Catholic Social Services and countless other organizations are there to help.

April 16- We have had a deafening silence for too many years. We go from bad to worse and millions, tens of millions of babes are snuffed out in their own mother's womb and we're silent! Abortion and euthanasia are nails in the coffin of our country.

April 23- There are 1,400,000 surgical abortions in America each year. But did you know there are an additional 10 to 12 million chemical abortions due to RU486 and many of the so-called oral contraceptives, which in reality cause abortions in the first 7 days after the uniting of the sperm and egg?

April 30- If it were proposed to execute murderers and rapists on death row by starvation and no hydration people would cry out that it's cruel and unjust punishment. Yet this is being done in many hospitals and nursing homes throughout this country to the old and infirm and to the not so old, for example, the case of Terri Schiavo.

May 7- Everyday over 4000 innocent babies are being killed by surgical abortion. Everyday millions of people choose to do nothing and stay oblivious to the massacre. Never in the past, in all the slaughters of history, has there been such wanton killing of the innocent! What are we doing to protect the unborn? What is our apathy doing to God's plan? The plan God has for each life He sends into the world.

May 14- The benefits of raising children transcend economics. Children are a source of joy, love and hope. They are our future. They transform and sanctify their parents. Our society and our world need to rediscover an appreciation for the gift of children, whose presence is needed now more than ever.

May 21- Tens of millions of women suffer the regret of killing their own baby. Where will it end? How will it end? What will it take to change hardened hearts and get apathetic lukewarm people of faith to get involved? We must save not only the baby, but help the mothers to find God's love and forgiveness.

May 28- Abortion: What is really at stake is the life of the baby as opposed to the mother's lifestyle. No one has an absolute unconditional right to a lifestyle; its effects on others always govern it. There are thousands of restrictions on us including no-smoking provisions, noise and zoning ordinances, etc. Finally, is it unreasonable for society to expect the mother to live with a temporary inconvenience if the only alternative is killing the baby?

June 4- It is a fallacy to argue that pro-life laws are an effort to legislate morality. All laws are passed to restrict or encourage behavior, and hence have some kind of moral view of the world being promoted. Abortion kills babies and any society who sacrifices its babies for whatever reason can no longer call itself civilized.

June 11- There is a substantial difference between a tiny baby, growing in her mother's womb, and a convicted criminal who poses a threat to the well being of society. Yet more babies are killed by abortion in America every five days than have been executed by capital punishment since the foundation of our country.

June 18- Words of a father whose baby was aborted: "My life has changed dramatically from this experience...I have had nightmares, dreams that I could see the doctor coming up to her and ripping the baby out of her. I just cried and mourned. The nightmares always come; they still come." Babies and mothers are not the only victims of abortion.

June 25- If you know of someone who is considering an abortion, ask her to consider the risk of post abortion syndrome and the increased risk to herself of breast cancer. Abortion is the wrong choice. Help is available. Contact a pregnancy center, Catholic Social Services, or one of the many other pro-life organizations available today.

July 2- Regarding abortion and euthanasia: Unless liberty is devoted to the defense of life, neither life nor liberty can survive.

July 9- In the beginning it was said that abortion was introduced only in order to help poor women and victims of rape and incest. Very quickly abortion became permitted for any reason. Now abortion has made a mortal breach in the respect for life and with no more respect for life euthanasia has been introduced. We must speak out for life while we can

July 16- Our government has spent billions of dollars probing the universe for life on other planets. The question is: if they find life what will they do with it? Send Planned Parenthood with condoms? Offer free abortions like the Arkansas abortion mill did for the "victims of Hurricane Katrina"? In no time at all there would be no respect for the newly discovered life, just like there is no respect for life here on Earth. Pray to end abortion and euthanasia.

July 23- America has now reached the point that the atrocities pile one upon the other. Many Americans tolerate the killing of the unborn and we push it out of sight and out of mind. Sex-selection abortions are now routine. If the baby is not what is wanted, simply abort and try again. Are we going to continue to tolerate the killing or will we pray and work to end abortion?

July 30- Many women are pressured to have an abortion by their boyfriends or husbands so she can be used again. This is sexual exploitation of women. One wonders, where are the so-called feminists? To them, abortion is so sacred they are willing to look the other way and continue to allow women to be used as objects.

August 6- Each day over 4000 American babies die a painful death from surgical abortion simply because they are "inconvenient" or "unwanted". We are called to be the light of the world. Let's speak out in defense of God's unborn babies. They have no voice but yours.

August 13-The first thing that has to be noted when examining the relationship between abortion and child abuse is that abortion is child abuse. Dismembering a born child would certainly be considered among the worst possible forms of abuse. Medical textbooks and court testimonies use the very same word "dismemberment," to describe what is done to a baby by abortion. Abortion is the ultimate child abuse

August 20- We have suffered through 33 years of legalized abortion; we've had victories and setbacks in our efforts to stop abortion. We must all remember the words of Winston Churchill: "Never, never, never give up". We can and we must end abortion and euthanasia. Our very lives could depend on it.

August 27- A nation cannot be strong when it destroys its weakest members, the unborn and the infirm. Americans demand rights rather than righteousness and so we reap a harvest of unrighteousness. Over the past three decades, we have aborted over 47 million babies and we call it "choice". God forgive and deliver us from the evils of abortion and the terror of euthanasia!

September 3- If you’re between the ages of newborn and 33 years, congratulations; you have survived the war on the unborn. 47,000,000 other humans were not blessed like you with the gift of life and have died at the hands of the abortionists. Thank God for your life; now go help others to live!

September 10- Homeland security starts in the womb. Give peace a chance- end the war on the unborn.

September 17- That slippery slope we heard about is here. RU486, the human pesticide, is increasingly available in western nations. Euthanasia is legal in some nations and "assisted suicide" is protected by law in Oregon and could spread across the nation. This movement cloaks its embrace of death by calling it "good death" or "pleasant death." It turns doctors and friends into killers. Think not? It happened to Terri Schiavo.

September 24- “I wasn't told that after having an abortion an unbelievable self-hatred would consume me and lead to distrust, suspicion, and the utter inability to care about myself or others, including my four children. I wasn't told that hearing babies cry would trigger such anger that I wouldn't be able to be around babies at all.” (Words from a mother who aborted.) Pray for those who have had an abortion.

October 1- Did you hear of the abortion mill in Arkansas who offered free abortions to the victims of Hurricane Katrina, thereby making them double victims? The pro-death forces lust for blood is unquenchable.

October 8- In the past 30 years 689 convicted criminals who posed a threat to society were executed by the state. During the same time period, 47,000,000 innocent babies who posed no threat to society, were executed by state sponsored abortion. That's equal to 689 innocent babies every four hours, not every 30 years!

October 15- Pro-Choice is no choice; call it what it is, it's pro-abortion. Abortion clinic: using the word clinic implies it is a place of healing. Not so! Since when was the baby's health a concern to them? The baby is brought there for one reason, to kill it. Call that what it is: a death camp.

October 22- Take a long hard look at photos of aborted babies. It is not pleasant and may even make you sick. But we owe it to these littlest ones to make an impression on our own minds to never forget the wholesale slaughter of the innocent. We must increase our resolve to stand up for those who cannot speak for themselves.

October 29- The times we live in are not easy times; they are times of great strife and struggle. Indeed, the hour of evil has arrived. We look at the state of the world and behold a spectacle unparalleled in the history of creation, a culture of death, a culture that seems to be saturated with impurity. Evil is having its hour. Pray to end abortion

November 5- What can we do to help end abortion and euthanasia? We can educate, organize and keep this issue before the nation's conscience. We must not remain silent. We must support and elect leaders who are advocates for life and not vote for those who promote abortion. Secondly, join a pro-life group and get involved-we are all in this together!

November 12- Regarding abortion: Those who have the ability to take action have the responsibility to take action. Join the pro-life movement today.

November 19- Have you ever asked, "What was wrong with the German people in WWII?" Many death camps had regular homes around them. Why didn't they do something about it? Don't be so hard on them; are we any better? We have abortion mills (death camps) in every major city in the US. What are we doing to stop the killing? We must work and pray to end abortion.

November 26- Millions of citizens have been brought face-to-face with the reality of partial birth abortion, the most horrible, barbaric and grotesque technique of legalized infanticide. We need pro-life politicians. We also need honest judges who will interpret the laws, not illegally make the laws, and be willing to stand up for what is right and not hide behind their deadly agendas'.

December 3- We have to do the one thing that the abortionists, the feminists and the media fear the most. We have to show the humanity of the baby! Whenever you show the humanity of the child in the womb, you shatter their rhetoric. Now we have the Internet; go see for yourself what a hideous procedure abortion really is. The truth will change hearts and save lives.

December 10- As people of God should we condone abortion? God is the only one who knows how many children we should have and we should be willing to accept them. One shouldn't decide for oneself who comes into this world and who doesn't. That decision belongs to God alone.

December 17- Regarding abortion: the truth is out there. Finding the truth isn't hard; accepting the truth is. The truth is that surgical abortions have killed over 47,000,000 babies in the last 33 years.

December 24- This Christmas let us declare a cease-fire in the war on the unborn. Let us pray that from this day forth no more babies will die from legalized abortion. Let us also pray for God's love and peace to rain down on all of us, born and unborn.

December 31- Does it make a difference if a baby is aborted one day after conception or months after conception? The answer is no. The loss of the baby to the mother, her family and all of society is the same. It's the loss of one human life.
