An estimated 27 children died inside of Rockford's killing center this past week; 40 Days For Life Rockford Kick-Off Event; Rockford Speaks Out Against Proposed Death Zone; WHAT IS 40 DAYS FOR LIFE? A great way to help Stephenson County Right to Life/Pro-Life Corner raise funds at no cost to you….
On Friday January 29, an estimated 14 children died inside of Rockford's killing center. Thankfully because of the faith of a group of Christians willing to sidewalk counsel, stand in public and hold pro-life signs, and countless people praying at this abortion mill and around our city one mother chose life this morning.
The young mother who spoke with a sidewalk counselor said she would really like the baby shower that was offered to her and was very appreciative of all the people who stood in the cold because of their concern for her and her baby. The abortion mill security guard got on his amplified sound system and tried to drown out the offers of love and help for the young mother who chose life but she just pulled her car down the block a bit and continued to speak with the sidewalk counselor.
It's truly an amazing thing to see a scared and lonely young mother chooses life and see the happiness and joy when she realizes she and her baby are not alone. Because of the love and prayers of Christians who take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to people in need at there place of distress another child's life was saved in Rockford.
On Wednesday February 3, an estimated 13 children died inside of Rockford's abortion mill.
The mission of Rockford Pro-Life Initiative is to eliminate abortion in the Rockford area through Prayer, Fasting, Education and Personal Sacrifice.

Rockford Speaks Out Against Proposed Death Zone
The Rockford Pro-Life Initiative would like to thank all of the people who came to the city council meeting to let our Alderman know the proposed bubble zone is a completely unneeded and ultimately deadly law.
Dozens and dozens of Rockford area pro-lifers filled the city council chamber on Monday night. The hall outside the chamber was also filled and another special room was set-up so the overflow crowd could listen to the council session on speakers.
Two members of the board of directors of the Rockford pro-life initiative spoke to the council backed up by new information documented from the city of Rockford that not one woman entering this abortion facility has ever filed a complaint against a sidewalk counselor thereby proving this is simply a politically motivated bubble zone meant to increase the revenues of the killing center.
A local grandmother who sidewalk counsels and was instrumental in saving the lives of two children last week at this abortion mill stood up at the meeting and it was explained to the Alderman that if the bubble zone was in place the two children who are alive right now because of the love and support of a sidewalk counselor would have died inside of the Northern Illinois Woman's Center.
Another young woman and her baby also stood up at the council meeting. This young mother had an appointment inside of the abortion clinic over a year ago but spoke with sidewalk counselors outside on the sidewalk. Both mother and child came to the city council to show them that sidewalk counselors are there to help women and save children's lives.
The reason the number of abortions at this mill have been cut in half in recent years is because the Christian community is actively, publicly, and prayerfully standing up to the evil of child killing that has taken place far to long in the heart of Rockford at Broadway and 10th.

WHAT IS 40 DAYS FOR LIFE?
40 Days for Life is a community-based campaign that draws attention to the evil of abortion through the use of a three-point program: Prayer and fasting / Constant vigil / Community outreach.
40 Days for Life takes a determined, peaceful approach to showing local communities the consequences of abortion in their own neighborhoods, for their own friends and families. It puts into action a desire to cooperate with God in the carrying out of His plan for the end of abortion in America.
The 40-day campaign tracks Biblical history, where God used 40-day periods to transform individuals, communities ... and the entire world. From Noah in the flood to Moses on the mountain to the disciples after Christ's resurrection, it is clear that God sees the transformative value of His people accepting and meeting a 40-day challenge.
Vision and mission: The mission of the campaign is to bring together the body of Christ in a spirit of unity during a focused 40 day campaign of prayer, fasting, and peaceful activism, with the purpose of repentance, to seek God*s favor to turn hearts and minds from a culture of death to a culture of life, thus bringing an end to abortion in America.
Prayer and fasting: Christ told us that some demons can only be driven out by prayer and fasting. The two go hand in hand. Prayer keeps us rooted in the fact that it is our desire to carry out God's will. Fasting is a sacrifice that helps us reach beyond our own limitations with God's help. Fasting is not a Christian diet; it is a form of physical prayer. You can fast from food, TV, alcohol ... anything that separates you from God.
Constant vigil: The most visible component of 40 Days for Life is a constant prayer vigil outside a place where children are aborted. It is a prayerful witness to the clinic's patients and employees, and to the entire community, that evil is in our midst and that with God's help, it will be defeated. It is the hope that the vigil can be maintained 12 hours a day, seven days a week.

Madison will host Wisconsin's Defend Life Rally at
noon on Feb. 6 on UW-Madison's Library Mall.
The rally will conclude with a march to the Madison
Surgery Center -- the site of a proposed late-term
abortion facility.
Last year's rally and march helped postpone the
opening of the abortion center for a year, and a
strong turnout this year could further delay or even
prevent the opening.
The event will be headlined by pro-life activist
Chris Slattery of New York City. Slattery opened EMC
Frontline Pregnancy Center in Manhattan 25 years ago,
pioneering the use of on-site ultrasound (including
3-D, 4D, and mobile ultrasound units) and pre-natal
care in a crisis center.
At least 34,000 women served by EMC's 13 fixed or
mobile locations have chosen Life. Slattery also
leads New York City's 40 Days for Life campaign,
which has saved more than 250 babies. For a full
biography, go to:
