Clinic Report
On Friday April 4, 13 children were aborted in Rockford. The good news is one child was saved. A couple stopped on their way into the abortion mill to talk with a sidewalk counselor. The clinic owner got on his loud speaker and ordered them to stop talking with the counselor so they drove into the parking lot and went into the mill. But a short time later they came out and said the couldn't do it. The mother had a huge smile on her face.
On Tuesday April 8, The abortion mill was closed today!!!
An update on what happened at the mill on April 1, 2008 as explained by a sidewalk counselor. A young man stopped to tell us he had to leave the abortion mill because he said he "couldn't stand it any more in there." He brought his girlfriend for an abortion but didn't want her to do it. When he and his girlfriend were talking with the abortion mill staff the staff member kept telling him to "stay out of it" and told the young lady the abortion would be, "quick, easy, and pain free." A sidewalk counselor talked with the young man at length but he was to upset to go back in and try and get his friend out of there.
An update on this situation. When this young man pulled out I was able to give him the pamphlet "For Men Only". I asked him if he had someone in the building. He said yes and his eyes were very sad. I gave him our packet of info and pointed out how the RAPCC could help them. He said he just had to get out of there because he got angry when the counselor told him he had nothing to do with the choice and it was her choice and kept shutting him down. They also kept saying how easy it was. I told him that they really don’t do counseling in there, but that they sell abortions. He replied yeah, you are right they took my $500. I encouraged him to go back in with the information. I had told him that his anger was righteous anger. I also told him that I was worried about her physically and emotionally as I have 3 different friends who have had abortions and the pain doesn’t just go away. I gave him 2 more pamphlets that another sidewalk counselor had give n to m e only 5 minutes earlier. These were by 2 women who gave their personal testimony on how they regretted their abortions. He took all of the info and said he would call her again and try to go back in.
He came back after 5-10 minutes and another car pulled up behind him which was his friend. He went into the building, but came back out after a while and proceeded to get into his friend’s car instead of his own. When they pulled out, he called me over to talk to him and he said that they wouldn’t let him back in the area where she was and that she was not answering her phone. He said that they would not listen to him at the desk. I encouraged him to keep calling her and go up to the waiting area in case she changed her mind and she would see he was still there. At this time he told me "You know that you all are doing the right thing being out here. Thank you".
A little while later he & his friend drove back in & then a while after that he was walking back into the building and he put his hand up & it sounded like he said he was going in to get her. A while after that he came out with her and she got into the passenger side of the car that he originally brought her in. He started it, but then he went and waited in his friend’s car. I can only assume that she was going over the info. I just kept praying and 10-15 minutes later he got into the car with her and pulled out. They told me that they did not do it. They were both all smiles. I gave them the gift bag and told them that we wanted to give them a shower. I let them know that we just had one for another mom who had chosen life and was due in June. They said that they would like that. They both looked so incredibly beautiful. They were filled with the grace and peace of God.

Rockford, Illinois Officials Accused of Violating Pro-Life Free Speech Rights
Rockford, IL (LifeNews.com) -- A leading pro-life law firm has filed a complaint with Rockford, Illinois city officials on behalf of a group of local citizens. The Thomas More Society says authorities violated the free speech rights of local residents when it told pro-life advocates to remove a pro-life sign on a bus bench.
City officials removed a pro-life city bus bench sign pro-life advocates paid to have in several places around town to educate their community about abortion.
Pro-life advocates placed the sign in November 2005 and had no issues until March 2006 when it was vandalized on a regular basis and covered with spray-painted obscenities. A local Rockford bus driver was also photographed getting out of her bus and defacing the sign.
City officials eventually refused to allow pro-life advocates to continue the sign, saying it was too controversial and a city employee removed parts of the sign without notice.
“How far will public officials go to prevent the truth from being seen and heard?” said Tom Brejcha, TMS's chief counsel told LifeNews.com.
“It is wrong for public officials to discriminate against pro-life citizens who are exercising their freedom of speech," he added. "The United States Constitution protects us all against these kinds of irresponsible and undemocratic actions. Our rights are worth fighting for."
The lawsuit asks the Court to declare the actions of Rockford officials unconstitutional as well as to issue an injunction stopping the city from preventing the display of the pro-life message.
When the vandalism initially occurred, Kevin Rilott of Rockford, a spokesman for the pro-life group, told the Rockford Register Star newspaper he's disappointed that abortion advocates don't respect free speech.
“It’s just affecting someone and made them very angry,” he said. “We know it’s a controversial issue, but if we can't peacefully express our opinion, it’s not what our county is about.”
The vandalism followed several news stories across the nation where abortion advocates have vandalized pro-life property.
Pro-abortion students at Harvard University tore down posters the pro-life student group posted, subway signs in San Francisco were seen repeatedly defaced, and pro-life students at Baylor University saw their share of vandalism as well.

Planned Parenthood Continues to Crack: New Video Out More Racism
UCLA publication releases another video of Planned Parenthood staff excitedly accepting donations earmarked for black babies
LOS ANGELES, April 2 /Christian Newswire/ -- The Advocate, a UCLA student publication, releases another video in its Planned Parenthood series exposing the organization's racist vision. Posing as a donor, law student James O'Keefe calls clinics in Oklahoma and New Mexico and asks to make a donation specifically to be used for a black baby. The clinics are more than happy to accommodate his request.
You Must See The Video Here:

The Advocate released its first video four weeks ago exposing Autumn Kersey, Director of Development at Planned Parenthood in Idaho. Ms. Kersey was caught on audio getting "excited" for a donation by an explicitly racist caller by phone. The students also exposed an Ohio clinic for gladly accepting donations, no matter what they may be used for.

"This new video demonstrates a disturbing trend of racism at Planned Parenthood," said Lila Rose, editor of The Advocate. "Planned Parenthood has no shame in accepting donations to purposely abort minority populations. People have forgotten the organization was founded on these principles and has continued to operate under these same racist views for decades."
Irene Gray of Planned Parenthood in Albuquerque, New Mexico took the call from O'Keefe last summer when he wanted to make a donation to abort a black baby. In sympathetic tones, Gray replied "yes, yes, it's a strange time for sure" to the donor's rant about affirmative action and how there is a need for less black people because they compete with whites for admission to schools.
When asked if the organization takes donations specifically to abort black babies, another Planned Parenthood staffer from Tulsa Susan Riggs answered, "We can definitely designate it for an African-American."
"Clearly, Planned Parenthood has absolutely no shame in using funds to target and abort black children from racist donors. It's a jolting reminder that abortion is a big business, regardless of what the politicians and the special interest groups say and given that Planned Parenthood receives over $300 million in federal funding every year, it's time Congress investigate these extremely disturbing business practices," continued Rose. "Planned Parenthood must be held accountable for their actions. No one is calling them out - including supposedly minority civil rights groups like the ACLU and NAACP - for their despicable actions."

Turner's Depopulation Plan: "We're Too Many People; That's Why we Have Global Warming"
Environmentalist extremists of his ilk take employ cultish fear-mongering in order to promote their religious environmentalism
Editorial by John-Henry Westen
NEW YORK, April 3, 2008 (LifeSiteNews.com) - In a wide-ranging hour-long interview on PBS, CNN Founder and billionaire environmental extremist Ted Turner let the cat out of the bag on the real goal of climate change extremists - depopulation. Pro-life activists who have attended UN environment meetings where such issues were discussed have often been the subject of ridicule and derision for pointing out that the massive movement behind global warming, retooled to 'climate change', works hand in hand with the culture of death with the aim of depopulation.
Speaking on PBS's Charlie Rose program on Tuesday, April 1, Turner stated plainly that next to nuclear disarmament the most pressing world concern is "global climate change" - which he said is caused by too many people. "We're too many people. That's why we have global warming," explained Turner when Rose questioned his comment that we need to "stabilize the population."
Turner, a fan of China's one-child policy - despite the brutality of forced abortion and sterilizations which are associated with it - proposed similar limits on family size for all. "We've got to stabilize population," he told Rose. "On a voluntary basis, everybody in the world's got to pledge to themselves that one or two children is it."
Pro-life activists have been pointing to the connection between the radical environmentalist movement and depopulation for over fifteen years. Already in 1992 Joan Veon, a veteran UN expert, explained what UN policy-makers meant when they use the term "sustainable development." During the UN World Summit on Sustainable Development Veon observed: "Sustainable development basically says there are too many people on the planet, that we must reduce the population."
Last year China boasted that its one-child policy, which has been criticized by many nations for including forced abortion and sterilization, had reduced greenhouse gases. Speaking at a meeting in Oslo on the UN's Kyoto Protocol, Hu Tao of China's State Environmental Protection Administration said the one-child population control policy has slowed "global warming" by limiting the population to 1.3 billion. "This has reduced greenhouse gas emissions," he said.
Those nations most keenly facing the dire consequences of underpopulation and aging populations know full well that the proposals of radical environmentalists mean an international death sentence.
In 2004 Russian presidential economic advisor Andrei Illarionov called the Kyoto Protocol - a UN sponsored treaty to reduce greenhouse gases - an "undeclared war against Russia" since it required depopulation. Quoting a British team of scientists and government officials Illarionov said, "As long as you reduce your population, you can meet the Kyoto Protocol requirements."
However Turner and environmentalist extremists of his ilk take employ cultish fear-mongering in order to promote their religious environmentalism. Speaking on what would happen if climate change were not addressed (i.e. population were not controlled), Turner told Rose, would be "catastrophic".
He prophesied an end to civilization, resorting to cannibalism for the few survivors, and more. He said: "We'll be eight degrees hotter in ten, not ten but 30 or 40 years and basically none of the crops will grow. Most of the people will have died and the rest of us will be cannibals. Civilization will have broken down. The few people left will be living in a failed state -- like Somalia or Sudan -- and living conditions will be intolerable. The droughts will be so bad there'll be no more corn growing. Not doing it is suicide. Just like dropping bombs on each other, nuclear weapons is suicide. We've got to stop doing the two suicidal things, which are hanging on to our nuclear weapons and after that we've got to stabilize the population."
The stance of most of the pro-life movement regarding the environment was recently expressed by Czech President Vaclav Klaus in March of last year. "All of us are very much in favour of maximum environmental protection and protection of nature," he said in an interview with the Cato Institute. "But it has nothing in common with environmentalism, which is ideological and practically attacking our freedom."
Environmentalism is, he said "a way of introducing new forms of statism, new forms of masterminding human society from above."

Obama Declares He Doesn't Want His Children "Punished with a Baby"
Christian group calls for apology and argues that children are blessings to be supported, not condemned.
JOHNSTOWN, PA, April 1, 2008 (LifeSiteNews.com) - In a comment deemed insulting to single mothers and their children, presidential hopeful Barack Obama announced during a town hall meeting on Saturday that he did not want his children "punished with a baby."
Following comments insisting that information on contraception be included alongside abstinence education, Obama stated, "I've got two daughters. 9 years old and 6 years old. I am going to teach them first of all about values and morals. But if they make a mistake, I don't want them punished with a baby. I don't want them punished with an STD at the age of 16."
On Monday, the Christian Defense Coalition issued a response criticizing Obama's comments.
"Saying that s ingle women could be 'puni shed with a baby,' is not only a slap in the face to every child born to a young mother, but it diminishes the great joy that children bring to their families regardless of the circumstances in which they were born."
"In America, we should be working to help young babies that are born in challenging situations and offering assistance and hope to their mothers. We should not be condemning them by saying that somehow it has now become 'punishment' to have a child in this country," stated Rev. Patrick J. Mahoney, Director of the Christian Defense Coalition
Rev. Mahoney asked that Obama apologize for his Saturday comment and address "his anti-child and anti-compassion mind set."
"What Senator Obama said and what he believes is clear - children are 'miracles,' but we have a problem when so many children are having children. As Senator Obama said on Saturday - and on many other occasions - parents have a responsibility to teach their childr en abo ut values and morals to help make sure they are not treating sex casually," Bill Burton, Obama's national spokesman, told Christian Broadcast News.
Obama drew criticism in February for a statement that his biggest mistake as a Senator was his March 2005 vote for a Senate bill permitting Terri Shindler Schiavo's parents and brother to make their case before federal courts to keep their brain-injured daughter alive via feeding tube.
"Is it so incredulous that a family had the 'audacity of hope' to believe its government would care about one profoundly disabled woman? It is a shame that Senator Obama, who claims to embody 'hope,' is crushing it for the families of people with profound disabilities." Responded the Terri Shindler Schiavo Foundation.

Planned Parenthood Report: More Abortions, Fewer Adoptions and Prenatal Care
Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- A further examination of the new annual report Planned Parenthood recently released finds the abortion business is still the largest in the United States. As in previous years, the number of abortions it does has gone up and roughly 25 percent of all abortions in the United States are done at Planned Parenthood centers. The report shows that Planned Parenthood did 289,750 abortions, an increase over the 264,943 abortions it did during the 2005-2006 fiscal year. That's a whopping nine percent increase even though the number of abortions nationally are on the decline. "It claims t o be reducing pregnancy; yet one out of every four abortions in the United States i s comm itted at a Planned Parenthood facility," watchdog Jim Sedlak told LifeNews.com. The number of abortions dwarfs the number of clients receiving prenatal care -- which totaled just 11,058 in the new annual report. That number is almost a 20 percent decline from the 2005-2006 total of 13,261. The number of Planned Parenthood adoption referrals is also miniscule and continues to drop. The previous annual report showed a scant 2,413 referrals and the abortion business made three less in the last fiscal year.

Martin Luther King Jr.'s Niece Says Abortion is the New Civil Rights Cause
Memphis, TN (LifeNews.com) -- As Americans honor the memory of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on the fortieth anniversary of his assassination, his niece says abortion has become the civil rights cause of today. Dr. Alveda King, who has suffered from multiple abortions, says the destruction of human life is on par with the lack of civil rights of her uncle's generation. In a speech at a church in downtown Memphis, King noted how her uncle was killed on this day in 1968. But a short five years later the Supreme Court opened the floodgates to unlimited abortions in the Roe v. Wade decision -- one that King says has decimated the nation and the black community in particular. "There are people dying in this c ountry, everyday," she said, focusing on a the plight of a different set of powerless people. "They are unborn children." "The fight against abortion is a new frontier in the civil rights movement," she said. "My uncle often said that we don't follow through," King added. "He said that we admonish black women not to abort their babies but we don't show them how to care for them, don't give them options for life."
