Petition in Support of Sandra Mendoza
ProLifeCorner- Rockford Illinois- Rockford Pro-Life Initiative-
Are you aware that pediatric nurse Sandra Mendoza was fired because of her refusal to refer mothers for abortion? Forcing someone to do something which is against their moral or religious beliefs is an attack on their religious freedom. This is an example of government officials who believe they are above the moral law.
To combat this situation, Dr. John Koehler is leading the way in the battle against the Winnebago County Health Department’s attack on human life and religious freedom.
He has created two petitions. One is for health care professionals and the other is for the general public.
There are two copies of the petition attached. One is for health care professionals and the other is for everybody else.
Please print out these petitions and do everything you can to get family, friends, co-workers, and your fellow Church members to sign them.
We have been told that the firing of Sandra Mendoza by the Health Department because of her Christian faith may well become an important test case in Illinois. These petitions to the county Board can play a big part in encouraging the Republican led Board to take positive action.
I am going to ask if I can collect signatures at my Church…..please consider doing it at Your Church. WE MUST TAKE ACTION TO PROTECT HUMAN LIVES AND OUR CHRISTIAN FAITH. Don’t be afraid to take a step for Christ and life….you will never regret trying.
Here is a story from our rally at the Winnebago county Health Department: http://prolifecorner.com/a-woman-of-love-and-courage/

Note the P.O. Box for return of signed petitions. Please forward the petitions far and wide.
The Winnebago County Health Department has forced an 18 year employee to resign because of her refusal to participate in abortion related services. Courageous nurse Sandra Mendoza lost her job and career because of her love for Christ and His children.
Attorney Noel Sterett at Mauck and Baker in Chicago
is representing Sandra Mendoza. This situation with the Winnebago County Health Department is a very important test case. We cannot stay silent and let this go on.
Please forward the petitions far and wide.
Even if you can only get three signatures from family and friends, it would be worth doing. Mail petitions to address at petition bottom.
Unlike an election petition, this one will not require notary stamp. Only signatures are required.
