Rockford, Il – (ProLifeCorner.com) – 9-22-2012 – by Staff – We are fast approaching the one year commemoration of the Northern Illinois Women’s Center (NIWC) being shut down permanently. It’s to the shame of NIWC that the state of Illinois found a litany of violations of many laws, and unsafe, unclean conditions at NIWC. NIWC had a perpetual disregard for the health and safety of the mothers having an abortion which was well documented, not only on our pages at Pro Life Corner, but also on the pages of the National Catholic Register, Mark Crutcher of Life Dynamics, Mark Pickup of Human Life Matters, Pewsitter, Spirit Daily, etc. Rockford’s abortion mill truly was a house of horror. NIWC will be remembered as Rockford’s Auschwitz death camp.
In spite of Illinois Department of Health’s willingness to be soft on NIWC’s re-opening, NIWC made a decision to not re-open, stating a lack of community support as their reason to remain closed. We found this reason to be comical because Wayne Webster, the landlord of the abortion killing place and protagonist to pro-life advocates, repeatedly claimed that NIWC had all the community support and pro-lifers had none. God and time has proved otherwise.
Let us rejoice and be glad; let us thank God unceasingly for this victory over evil. Let us also be on guard because the forces of darkness don’t sleep. Are plans being laid for a new killing center in Rockford? If it comes, how open will city and county officials be to such a facility? Maybe now is the time to talk to officials and shore up support to resist such a new facility.
NIWC was at 10th and Broadway for over 25 years. The business of abortion has touched tens of thousands of lives, for example, the estimated over 100,000 babies killed; the countless mothers, fathers, and family members who were wounded by the affects of abortion. It has been 25 years for some mothers and fathers since their baby was killed, but only one year for others. All these parents still need our prayers and love. May they find God’s forgiveness and peace.
There are thousands of stories to be told; where do we begin? Stories from the tragic and heart breaking to our favorites, that is mothers who choose life and allowed their baby to be born, thereby allowing God’s plan for their baby to be fulfilled.
This is how we will start our series-on some of the babies saved. There are countless babies saved for which we do not have documentation. Following are just a few of the documented saves at NIWC.
Thanks Be To God For Rockford Being Abortion Free For One Year
September 30th will be the one year anniversary of the closing of Rockford’s notorious child killing center. The Northern Illinois Women’s Center that became nationally known for its horrifically unsanitary conditions was closed by the state of Illinois one year ago. The result being hundreds of lives have been saved and those who mocked God for so long at this abortion mill were silenced by power of God.
So many lives have been and will be saved because Rockford’s Auschwitz death camp is closed. Praise and glory to Jesus Christ.
Thank you, Lord, for your wonderful mercy.
We thank God and all of these brave, wonderful moms who did the right thing and walked away from this killing center. Just recently I have had 2 phone calls from moms … one from a mother, telling me about her son who will be 7 yrs old soon and how much she loves him and is so happy that she did not go into that killing center that day. The other mom sent many pictures of her son (now 5 yrs. old) and telling the beautiful story of how she wanted the abortion because she thought the father of the baby was not going to live and one of the pictures is of the dad leaving the hospital in a wheel chair with the little baby in his arms. We have a mighty God!
EDITOR: THanks you for such a wonderful update. And thank you and all the other courageous sidewalk counselors for being there, not only for these Moms, but for all the others you have touched by your witness and presence at the mill in their time of need.
