ROCKFORD / FREEPORT LIFECHAINS 2015
ProLifeCorner- Rockford/Freeport– This years Life Chain takes on special significance with the revelations of the barbaric industrial scale nature of the killing of children by Planned Parenthood and the trafficking of human body parts by the abortion industry. As Christians we must expose the killing of innocent children to the public. We must also pray and do penance for the killing of so many children by abortion.
Rockford’s Life Chain will take place Sunday Oct 4, from 2-3pm at the corner of Alpine and Highcrest. Easy parking and pro-life signs will be available in the parking lot of Holy Family Church.
Now more than ever we need to show our country that Christians will stand in public and defend life as long as one child is in danger of abortion.
Please join your Christian neighbors as we stand in prayer and public witness to Christ’s love for every child.
The National Life Chain is an opportunity to peacefully pray and defend the lives of the unborn. Please join us on the corner of Stephenson and West on Sunday, October 4th from 1:30 pm until 2:30pm. Adults, teens, children, parents and grandparents are invited to stand up for those who cannot stand up for themselves.
Everyone is invited to join us. Signs will be provided. (If you prefer your own, please be sure they are not graphic.)
Life Chain in Freeport will be held on Sunday, October 4, 2015 at the corner of Stephenson Street and West Avenue from 1:30 until 2:30.
LIFE CHAIN is not just a demonstration, and its witness is not only intended for the viewing public. Instead, its first goal is to minister to its own participants—to those who call Christ their Lord and hold pro-life messages that declare abortion a grave evil that defames the name and holiness of God (Leviticus 18:21). Indeed the Church that Christ founded has drifted into cold indifference toward the sacredness of human life, and the result has been the mindless surgical killing and mutilation of over 55 million preborn Americans, plus untold millions who have fallen victim to abortive chemicals and medical neglect.
