Southern Poverty Law Center Attacks Christians

Rockford, Il – (ProLifeCorner.com) – 8-18-2012 – by Rockford Pro-Life Initiative – Please Contact The Southern Poverty Law Center And Ask Them To Stop Their Attacks On ChristiansA supporter of the radical liberal / anti-family agenda may have been spurred on in his violent attack on the Family Research Council by the inflammatory and deceitful politically motivated name calling of liberal groups who label anyone who opposes their radical leftist agenda hate-mongers.

One particular liberal group that consistently crosses the line in attacking and spreading lies about Christians and pro-family groups is called The Southern Poverty Law Center.

The Southern povertyLaw Center has ridiculously and unscrupulously listed a wonderful Christian organization, the Family Research Council, on their web-site alongside neo-Nazis, Klansmen, white nationalists, neo-Confederates, racist skinheads, black separatists, border vigilantes and others.

The Southern Poverty Law center labels anyone who opposes their radically liberal agenda as racists and hate-mongers.  This kind of dishonest and irresponsible behavior by the SPLC can lead to real bigotry, real hate, and real violence.

Here is a statement from the Family Research Council on this situation:

“It is clear that the gunman is responsible for the shooting. But I believe it was the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), which has recklessly labeled groups like FRC that they disagree with as “hate groups,” that created this hostile environment. The SPLC’s listing of pro-family and Christian organizations alongside neo-Nazi and separatist groups gives radicals like FRC’s attacker a reason to believe they have the license to come into our building to try to take the lives of our friends and coworkers. The SPLC has even labeled local parents’ groups that oppose SPLC’s policies as “haters.” The type of rhetoric that SPLC has engaged in is wrong, and, as we witnessed this week, it is dangerous.”

Please consider calling or emailing the Southern Poverty Law Center and politely ask them to act responsibly and stop spreading lies and people and groups they don’t like.   Here is the contact page for the SPLC  http://www.splcenter.org/contact-us

  1. Well written, the southern poverty law center is itself a hate orginization. They call anyone they don’t like racist and hatefull names. The only poverty that orginization is involved in is a poverty of common decency.

  2. The southern poverty law center is just another pro-hate lobby.
They don’t defend poor they promote what causes poverty of souls and hate.

  3. TheSPLC has a great track record of going after racists when no one else can.It is famous for getting unjustly convicted prisoners retrials and freedom. They have an unblemished record in getting justice against racists and hate groups.
I really cannot understand this action on their part and their integrity will probably
    cause them to reconsider.

  4. (Hi Pro-Life Corner. Just saw this exceptional article on the web. God bless.)

    SPLC Pervs & FRC Shooting

If something is unnatural or anti-American or anti-Christian, the Southern Poverty Law Center is drawn to it like flies to something smelly. Which is why the SPLC hates the Family Research Council which is pro-traditional family, pro-America, and pro-Christ.
After the shooting at FRC headquarters, which could have been a massacre, FRC president Tony Perkins stated that the SPLC has “been reckless in labeling organizations hate groups because they disagree with them on public policy.”
The SPLC calls the FRC a “hate” group because it follows Christ who said to His followers “Love your enemies” (Matt. 5:44)……

EDITOR: We have received many comments about the Southern Poverty Law Center and are aware of their anti-Christian, Anti-life ways. However, some of the comments about this group are very strong and may possibly have an element of truth but it is impossible for us to verify some of the accusations made about the SPLC due to our limited time and staff. Therefore we are going to rule on the side of caution and print only what is easily verifiable.

  5. As a Christian i belive that the SPLC and thier ilk are spreading lies about christian groups like Americans for truth and others like them. They must be stopped and taught a lesson!
