A Divine Mercy Moment: From the diary of St. Faustina
“Help me, O Lord that my eyes may be merciful, so that I may never suspect or judge from appearances, but look for what is beautiful in my neighbors’ souls and come to their rescue.” – St. Faustina (Diary 163)
“Encourage the souls with whom you come in contact to trust in My infinite mercy. Oh, how I love those souls who have complete confidence in Me. I will do everything for them.” – Jesus to St. Faustina (Diary 294)
“The greatest sinners would achieve great sanctity, if only they would trust in My mercy.” – Jesus to St. Faustina (Diary 1784)
“When my soul is in anguish, I think only in this way: Jesus is good and full of mercy, and even if the ground were to give way under my feet, I would not cease to trust in Him.” – St. Faustina (Diary 1192)
“When you approach the confessional, know this, that I Myself am waiting there for you. Here the misery of the soul meets the God of mercy. Tell souls that from this fount of mercy souls draw graces solely with the vessel of trust. If their trust is great, there is no limit to My generosity.” – Jesus to St. Faustina (Diary 1602)
“Be always merciful as I am merciful. Love everyone out of love for me, even your greatest enemies, so that My mercy may be fully reflected in your heart.” – Jesus to St. Faustina (Diary 1695)
