Whether we accept the fact or not, the reality is that the United States is in the midst of an undeclared Civil War. One side believes in good and evil and life while the other side believes in choice and abortion. Huge amounts of time, energy and money are involved as the two sides battle each other in politics, legislation and morals.
Are we heading for a bloody civil war over abortion? More than 600,000 Americans lost their lives in the American Civil War fighting over slavery and whether it was right to set aside good and evil to declare groups as inferior. While our country has been involved in other wars, none of them matches the Civil War in the number of deaths. It was easily the most deadly and bloodiest war in our nation’s history and it took place on our own soil.
Even prior to the recent Presidential election there was substantial talk about our country being polarized into two different camps with abortion as a major difference between the two. While there are differences other than abortion, the killing of unborn babies has become a key point between the two sides, much like slavery. Following the election, these differences are again in the news and the possibility of a civil war has been mentioned numerous times. Continue reading →
There have been an increasing number of questions from conservatives regarding the liberal position on abortion. Why is it so important to them? Why do the liberals insist that abortion be funded with tax dollars? Why is abortion tied to marriage and church? And, why do liberals insist on killing a baby instead of allowing him or her to be adopted?
The answers to these questions all go back to the polarization of our society. For liberals, abortion is the “flagship” of their “fleet” of various positions supporting their liberal stand that decisions and actions should be determined by personal choice rather than by judging them as good or evil based on what is best for others. If abortion was eliminated, or at least judged from the standpoint of good and evil, it would seriously weaken the liberal position supporting choice over good and evil. If you give me a few minutes of your time, I will explain the background behind our polarized society and why abortion has emerged as a key point in this struggle. Continue reading →
ProLifeCorner- Annarae- After all the tension, frustration and emotion that the recent election caused so many people, Father Timothy Barr brings everything into proper perspective. That is that Jesus is our true King and Savior, not the government or political leaders. This video is only 6 min. long and well worth viewing.
Hillary Clinton’s Plans to Persecute The Church in America
ProLifeCorner – Frank J. Munda- 10-13-2016 – To Hillary Clinton and her pack of progressive radical friends I say this: You are being judgmental; judge not lest you be judged. Hillary Clinton claims to be tolerant but in reality she is one of the most intolerant and hate-filled persons in our nation today. For the past eight years she has been part of the Obama administration, one of the most intolerant and anti-Christian administrations on the face of the earth. Barack Hussein Obama , Hillary Clinton , and Sebelius have wounded the Christian faith through the implementation of the HHS mandate and their many other unprecedented attacks on Christianity, in general, and Catholicism in particular . Now the fact has come out that if she is elected president she will be declaring full war on Catholics and over 2000 years of Christian teaching. Continue reading →
Pro-Life Corner – 8-4-2016 – by Rockford Pro-Life Initiative – The pro-abortion Catholic politicians voted to mandate contraception coverage, and I refuse to discipline them – Because I don’t want to seem judgmental.
The pro-abortion Catholic politicians voted to approve Supreme Court Justices who make it legal to kill babies in the womb and I didn’t discipline them – Because I don’t want to be accused of being political.
The pro-abortion Catholic politicians like Nancy Pelosi, Joe Biden and Tim Kaine use the media to teach Catholics that abortion and homosexuality are good things and I won’t discipline them – Because people might think I am meddling in their personal lives.
The pro-abortion Catholic politicians vote to destroy marriage and force us to approve of homosexuality and I won’t discipline them – Because if I did the billions of dollars Catholic Relief Services receives from the Government might be in jeopardy. Continue reading →
Guns have certainly been in the news lately. It seems like some type of violence connected to guns shows up every few days. My sympathies go out to all of the victims of this type of violence. If we all supported life from conception to grave we could eliminate much of this.
There are too many people who blame guns instead of the person holding the gun. The reason why our society is falling apart is because we have moved away from evaluating our actions and decisions as good and evil. People blame guns because they do not want to blame the shooter. Blaming the person holding the gun would admit that good and evil exist and that people should be responsible. And, if good and evil exist, then where do abortion, traditional marriage and supporting families stand in regard to good and evil? Continue reading →
ProLifeCorner – 9-30-2015 – by staff – It seems the stories of abuse at Planned Parenthood never stop. Here we go again. Now they have been caught engaging in fraud using taxpayer money. There are billing violations, misuse of Medicaid, and the list goes on. They murder the unborn then sell their body parts for more money. Just how much does it take to satisfy their blood lust? Please read the article below from Lifenews.com They have been at the forefront of breaking news on the abuses at Planned Parenthood.
If this Corporation was Chrysler or GM the public would be screaming their heads off and demanding that the corporate heads be punished and sent to prison. But this Corporation Planned Parenthood is protected by those on the extreme left in our government and our left leaning citizens. Somehow this evil Corporation has assumed a undeserved status of the fourth branch of our government. We have The legislative, The judicial, and The executive branches of government all dancing to the tune of Planned Parenthood the unofficial Fourth branch of the of our government. Isn’t it time for the American people to say we refuse to allow this giant corporation to continue to force its will upon the American people. Isn’t it time for decent people to say enough and reclaim the rights of the people to be heard. Isn’t it time to end this corrupt government of the lobbyist, for the lobbyist. Isn’t it time to return to a government of the people, by the people, for the people. Continue reading →
ProLifeCorner – By Larry Plachno – Should government and leaders set aside good and evil, and take away religious liberty? This is one of the more pressing questions facing Christians in America today. Our government and leaders seem to feel that “anything goes” and that good and evil are old fashioned. Hence, we are faced with conflicts on abortion, marriage and other things between government mandates and our Christian morals. In many cases it is obvious that the traditional morals, and not the absence of good and evil, is the best thing for society.
This question is not something new to our generation and has been around for thousands of years. If you read the Gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke you will see that Jesus Christ was questioned by some people trying to trip him up on paying taxes. As was typical of Him, Jesus provided a very logical answer. Continue reading →
ProLifeCorner.com- 4-16-2014- by Larry Plachno-If you watch the surveys you will find that most Americans are unhappy with the directions our country has taken. They feel that we are headed downhill both morally and economically. Many are asking why.
It does not take rocket science to figure out where we made the wrong turns. We stopped looking to God for good and evil and instead looked to Washington and the Supreme Court. We stopped working together to support marriage, family and children but instead asked government to support selfishness and individualism. We stopped looking to church, husbands and fathers for guidance and support and instead looked to government for approval and welfare. We have gone from strong families and weak government to stronggovernment and weak families and are now paying the price. Continue reading →
