America Was a Great Nation

America Was a Great Nation

ProLifeCorner – 2-2-2017 – by Chris Munda – The following article by our friend from Canada, Mark Pickup, is one of the best we have read, and that’s really saying something.  He gives us a brief history of why America was a great nation and why America now is headed in a downward spiral.  There is a glimmer of hope, however, if we clean up our act and start to love and help others again.  But most of all, we need to stop the holocaust of the unborn.  We cannot continue to slaughter our children and expect our nation to become great again. When is Abortion More Than Abortion?

When is Abortion More Than Abortion?

ProlifeCorner-  By Larry Plachno-

Larry-150x1 blue            There have been an increasing number of questions from conservatives regarding the liberal position on abortion. Why is it so important to them? Why do the liberals insist that abortion be funded with tax dollars? Why is abortion tied to marriage and church? And, why do liberals insist on killing a baby instead of allowing him or her to be adopted?

The answers to these questions all go back to the polarization of our society. For liberals, abortion is the “flagship” of their “fleet” of various positions supporting their liberal stand that decisions and actions should be determined by personal choice rather than by judging them as good or evil based on what is best for others. If abortion was eliminated, or at least judged from the standpoint of good and evil, it would seriously weaken the liberal position supporting choice over good and evil. If you give me a few minutes of your time, I will explain the background behind our polarized society and why abortion has emerged as a key point in this struggle. Continue reading

A New Challenge to Roe v. Wade

A New Challenge to Roe v. Wade

 ProLifeCorner-   By Larry Plachno

Many people braved the snow in Washington, D.C. in January to march for life. They Larry-150x1 bluewere there to show their unhappiness with the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court Decision of January 22, 1973 that made abortion the law of the land. There were other major marches elsewhere including Chicago and San Francisco timed to coincide with this 43rd anniversary of Roe v. Wade. Due to the bias of our mainstream media in ignoring pro-life news, most of the marchers were probably not aware that there has been a new challenge to Roe v. Wade.

This new development comes from a rather unexpected quarter. Involved is a joint resolution recently passed by the South Dakota state House of Representatives with a 60-10 vote and passed by the state Senate with a 25-9 vote. It was signed by the leaders of both chambers. Just prior to this Roe v. Wade anniversary, some of the South Dakota lawmakers presented this state resolution to the United States Supreme Court. In doing so they asked the high court to reconsider and overturn its abortion rulings including Roe v. Wade. Continue reading

The Fallacies of Reasons for Abortion

The Fallacies of Reasons for Abortion

ProLifeCorner – Editor:   We want to start off the New Year with another inspiring and Larry-150x1 blueeducational article by one of the Pro Life Corner’s favorite authors, Larry Plachno.  Larry has once again shown the pro-death crowd for the evil and disgusting group they are.

The Fallacies of Reasons for Abortion

By Larry Plachno

If you take the time to study the arguments in favor of abortion you will find that none of them can be applied to decisions and actions regarding either individuals or groups. They all have some type of fallacy be it faulty reasoning, a mistaken belief or a failure in logic.

Murder has been with us since the start of human history, as indicated by the story of Cain and Abel in Genesis. As our society gets older we would expect it to become more mature, more knowledgeable and more humane. It appears that the exact opposite is true. As predicted by the Blessed Virgin at Fatima, things have only gotten worse. The 20th century may well be remembered as the bloodiest in human history. While figures vary, sources indicate that the Soviets, the Communist Chinese and the Nazis together killed more than 116 million people during this past century and this figure does not include other, lesser, atrocities by other governments. Abortion and Auschwitz A Review of Abortion and Other Forms of Genocide

Abortion and Auschwitz

A Review of Abortion and Other Forms of Genocide

ProLifeCorner-  By Larry Plachno

What prompted our interest in this comparison was a recent claim that abortion was different from the holocaust of World War II and other types of genocide. However, when you actually sit down and do a comparison, it becomes obvious that abortion is not only glaringly similar to the holocaust but also similar to other examples of genocide in history.

This is an obvious situation of asking the wrong question and getting the wrong answer. The primary question here is not a list of groups that you and I think are inferior or less than human. Unfortunately, almost no one cares what we think. You and I do not get thousands of calls each day from people asking us our opinion of what groups they should consider to be inferior or less than human. Continue reading

Render Unto Caesar

ProLifeCorner –  By Larry Plachno –   Should government and leaders set aside good and evil, and take away religious liberty? This is one of the more pressing questions facing Christians in America today. Our government and leaders seem to feel that “anything goes” and that good and evil are old fashioned. Hence, we are faced with conflicts on abortion, marriage and other things between government mandates and our Christian morals. In many cases it is obvious that the traditional morals, and not the absence of good and evil, is the best thing for society.

This question is not something new to our generation and has been around for thousands of years. If you read the Gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke you will see that Jesus Christ was questioned by some people trying to trip him up on paying taxes. As was typical of Him, Jesus provided a very logical answer. Continue reading

Myriam Teaches the World a Lesson on Forgiveness

Myriam Teaches the World a Lesson on Forgiveness

ProLifeCorner- A refugee camp in the Mideast- Sadly we are aware of the persecution of the Christians in Iraq and all throughout the Mideast. This persecution has gone on for many years, but unfortunately it appears that it will surpass the persecution of the Jews in the late 30s and early 40s. It truly is a Christian Holocaust. There was a time when we had a decent government that they would rally forces, send in troops, and stop the slaughter of innocent people. It is time that not only our government, but the governments of the rest of the free world  take action and stop the slaughter of God’s holy innocents. Below you will see a video of Myriam, a young Christian girl who truly has Christ living within her. Myriam thanks God and teaches the world a lesson of forgiveness after surviving persecution by ISIS.  She is singing a song of gratitude to God for His divine protection. Continue reading

America’s Civil War on Abortion

ProLifeCorner.com- 7-13-2013-  by Larry Plachno- July 1-3 of 2013 marked 150 years since the Battle of Gettysburg. It was one of the bloodiest battles of the Civil War, leaving more than 6,650 dead, another 32,000 wounded and nearly 12,000 captured or missing. The Civil War was the worst of American conflicts, exceeding World War I and World War II as well as other battles and wars in the number of deaths. A total of two percent of the population of the United States, approximately 620,000 people, lost their lives in the Civil War. Continue reading
