ProLifeCorner- 9-25-2017 – We’re sure most of our readers are familiar with the wonderful articles submitted by Mark Pickup. We’re showing you a special article today with a speech delivered by his wife, LaRee at a prayer breakfast in Baltimore, MD some time ago. If anyone has had a loved one who has or is still suffering, this will give you strength and courage to continue fighting the battle with that loved one.
The opening paragraph is by Mark and is on his home page most of the time. We feel it shows the need for all Christians to work and pray together to bring our world back to Jesus.
Following his article is the speech given by LaRee, with comments by Mark.
LaRee and Mark are, indeed, a wonderful example of faith, hope, and love. May God bless them abundantly for all they do to serve Him. Continue reading →
ProLifeCorner – 2-2-2017 – by Chris Munda – The following article by our friend from Canada, Mark Pickup, is one of the best we have read, and that’s really saying something. He gives us a brief history of why America was a great nation and why America now is headed in a downward spiral. There is a glimmer of hope, however, if we clean up our act and start to love and help others again. But most of all, we need to stop the holocaust of the unborn. We cannot continue to slaughter our children and expect our nation to become great again. Continue reading →
ProLifeCorner – 2-2-2017 – by Chris Munda – Euthanasia goes by other names, for example, mercy killing, assisted suicide, easy death, etc.. You can call it whatever name you like, but it still means only one thing-the purposeful killing of a human life.
We are living in a time when human life has been cheapened so much that animals are treated with more care and respect than human beings. It has, for quite some time, been seriously discussed how older, terminally ill, or chronically ill patients should die to save resources for the young and strong. Is this the kind of world in which we want to live? Should Grandpa be put down like a dog because he has arthritis and can’t get around as fast as he did in the past? How about getting rid of Grandma because she’s too weak to stand at the stove for hours cooking everyone’s favorite foods? Or what about a child or young adult with MS? Do they deserve to die because they have an illness or handicap?
One only has to hear the inspiring life story of Mark Pickup, a great hero in the pro-life movement. “Assisted Suicide As A Matter of Course”.Mark is but one of many people who suffer from a debilitating disease, but he has shown the world great courage, strength, and has shared many great writings with all of us. Those who favor euthanasia would suggest he is really not useful to society. What rubbish!! Mark has given hope and inspiration to so many people who are handicapped in some way. He is a role model to all of us. Continue reading →
ProLifeCorner – 12-21-2016 – Mark Pickup is an outstanding spokesman for the unborn, the elderly, and those suffering with long term illnesses. As a Canadian citizen he has worked tirelessly to improve standards of life in Canada and throughout the Americas, but after you read this article you’ll see why we should all adopt Mark as a true US citizen as well. Few people could have put this as well as he has.

IF I WAS AMERICAN, I’D WRITE TO PRESIDENT TRUMP
Although I’m not American, I have a deep an abiding love for America: I want the best for that great nation. I’ve been thinking about ways to promote a moral shift in America that the New Administration can encourage toward a national life-affirming consensus: A consensus that seeks a place for unwanted unborn children and ways to support their parents. ProLifeCorner- Frank Joseph Munda- There’s an old saying, ”I felt sorry for myself because I had no shoes, until I saw a man who had no feet.” It is a rare individual who has not been touched by some form of physical, or mental pain. It seems some of us suffer a little more than others. Mark Pickup and his wife LaRee of HumanLifeMatters have certainly suffered much physical and mental pain over the years. Losing his mobility to MS was a tragedy that would have destroyed a lesser man than Mark. He has carried this cross in a Christ like fashion. His faith in Christ, his love of life has helped him overcome any and all obstacles in his life. They, Mark and LaRee are an example to all of us.Continue reading →

Assisted Suicide Goes Against Nations Founding Principles
ProLifeCorner – Washington DC – You may recall at the ProLifeCorner we recently did a piece on Mark Pickup from Canada being a guest speaker at a Cathedral in Washington DC. Mark was invited to give a talk on the subject of euthanasia. He was invited by the Archdiocese of Washington’s Adult and Family Rally and Mass for Life, held Jan. 22 at the Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle.
Mark told us: “Here’s some coverage of my Washington address on the 22 January, 2016”. He also said, ”I was surprised 200 people came as the District of Columbia was on the cusp of the worst snow storm in 94 years”. Continue reading →
