God sends us “Enough” with the Holy Spirit our Consoler

“And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Advocate…”

A father and his adult daughter are saying goodbye at the airport. Her flight’s departure has been announced. They hug one last time at the security gate.

The father says, “I love you, honey, and I wish you enough.”

The daughter hugs her dad again and says, “Dad, our life together has been more than enough. Your love is all I ever needed. I wish you enough, too, Dad.”

The feast of Corpus Christi 2015

The feast of Corpus Christi 2015

ProLifeCorner- Freeport Illinois – The Feast of Corpus Christi (Body of Christ) celebrates the belief in the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ and His Real Presence in the Eucharist. This group of worshipers proceeded from St. Joseph’s church, traveled up Galena Street and turned easterly up Pleasant Street until they arrived at State Street and turned to arrive at St. Mary’s parish. There they celebrated a brief Benediction honoring our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Continue reading

Very strong language for our Lord, but He is God and He can say what He wants and how He wants, and we better believe his words.  Some say oh my Jesus wouldn’t do that, very foolish talk.  Our Lord does not lie, He does not deliver half truths.  The reality is that the lukewarm will regret their indifference.  Continue reading
