Pro-Life Corner – 8-4-2016 – by Rockford Pro-Life Initiative – The pro-abortion Catholic politicians voted to mandate contraception coverage, and I refuse to discipline them – Because I don’t want to seem judgmental.
The pro-abortion Catholic politicians voted to approve Supreme Court Justices who make it legal to kill babies in the womb and I didn’t discipline them – Because I don’t want to be accused of being political.
The pro-abortion Catholic politicians like Nancy Pelosi, Joe Biden and Tim Kaine use the media to teach Catholics that abortion and homosexuality are good things and I won’t discipline them – Because people might think I am meddling in their personal lives.
The pro-abortion Catholic politicians vote to destroy marriage and force us to approve of homosexuality and I won’t discipline them – Because if I did the billions of dollars Catholic Relief Services receives from the Government might be in jeopardy. Continue reading →
Unless Truth be a Mockery and Justice a Hollow Lie
ProLifeCorner – 12-15-2015 – by Staff – Our latest cntribution from our friend in Canada, Mark Pickup, is one of his best ever-and that’s saying something! Mark will be speaking in Washington, DC at St. Matthew the Apostle Cathedral just prior to the 2016 March for Life.
Please take time to read his latest articfle and we think you’ll come away with the same feeling we have; it was a tribute and a Christmas gift of encouragement to all of us who work and pray for an end to abortion and euthanasia.
May God bless Mark and his family with many more years of their courage and wisdom.Continue reading →
America and Canada in Grave Danger of Losing our Freedoms ProLifeCorner- Canada- Americans have systematically been losing our freedoms to an activist controlled Supreme Court. Taking God and prayer out of our schools, ruling in 1973 that a mother had a right to murder her child in her womb, assisted suicide, murder of the elderly and infirm through so-called euthanasia, and government-sponsored and financial support to an unofficial branch of the government called Planned Parenthood. And now the ghoulish action of selling human body parts on the open market. Sadly, our neighbors to the north in Canada are suffering much of the same dictatorial control through their Supreme Court.
As always our friend Mark Pickup puts the plight of our two countries in perspective.
God bless America, God bless our dear friends in Canada. Continue reading →
ProLifeCorner- Beaumont, Alberta, Canada –Our friend Mark Pickup has been inspiring us with his writings for many years.Mark and his wife LaRee live in Canada and the problems they are facing regarding religious freedom and the murder of the pre-born child through state sponsored abortion and state sponsored euthanasia is as bad if not worse than here in the United States. He gives an example of the relentless attacks on the rights of Christians to practice their religion, even within the walls of their own schools. It is time for Christians of good will, priests, pastors, and Bishops to stand up and defend Christ and His church and say “enough is enough they have gone too far.” Let us return to the principles that this country was founded uponand take the state sponsored religion of Secular Humanism out of our schools, and once again allow us to call upon the protection and the blessings of our God.Continue reading →
ProLifeCorner- Are you ready for the onslaught against good and evil In regard to abortion, marriage and family?
By Larry Plachno Anyone who has done any reading in this area is fully aware that our society has been involved in a fierce and very polarized battle for decades. On the one side are the people who believe in good and evil. On the other side are the people who believe in personal rights instead of good and evil.
I cannot stress strongly enough that the basic problem is whether we judge all of our actions and decisions as to whether they are good for others and society rather than what we want. The reason for this is because everything is interconnected. Demographers have shown that in recent presidential elections, states with the lowest fertility rates vote for liberal candidates and liberal issues while states with the highest fertility rates vote for conservative candidates and conservative candidates. As you become more liberal, your ideal family size gets smaller and you are less likely to be married. Abortion, marriage, family and politics are all interconnected whether we like it or not. ProLifeCorner.com- 4-16-2014- by Larry Plachno-If you watch the surveys you will find that most Americans are unhappy with the directions our country has taken. They feel that we are headed downhill both morally and economically. Many are asking why.
It does not take rocket science to figure out where we made the wrong turns. We stopped looking to God for good and evil and instead looked to Washington and the Supreme Court. We stopped working together to support marriage, family and children but instead asked government to support selfishness and individualism. We stopped looking to church, husbands and fathers for guidance and support and instead looked to government for approval and welfare. We have gone from strong families and weak government to stronggovernment and weak families and are now paying the price. Continue reading →
ProLifeCorner.com- (March 6, 2013 – Washington, DC) Will Supreme Court Reverse Ban on “Graphic Photos” of Aborted Babies? Thomas More Society Asks for Reversal of Colorado State Court Injunction.
This week, Chicago’s Thomas More Society petitioned the U.S. Supreme Court to review and overturn a Colorado state court decree barring Denver pro-life advocates from “displaying large posters or similar displays, depicting gruesome images of mutilated fetuses or dead bodies in a manner reasonably likely to be viewed by children under 12 years of age attending worship services…” Pro-life advocates Ken Scott, Clifton Powell, and others led a pro-life witness outside Denver’s Saint John’s Church in the Wilderness (aka Saint John’s Cathedral). The annual event took place concurrently with the church’s outdoor Palm Sunday procession several years ago. Continue reading →
By Rev. John H. Hampsch, C.M.F.- The strangest anomaly in the burning issue of abortion is the presence of pro-choice advocates who claim to be bible believers. For these, Jesus’ words to the Sadducees apply: “You are in error because you do not know the Scriptures” (Mt. 22:29). Before surgical abortion was technically possible, unborn babies were killed only when the mother was slain also, as recorded in Amos 1: 13; Ammon’s genocidal act God punished by a tumult of nature and deprivation of national leadership.
