Because one of out of every three mouthfuls of food you eat are because of the hard work of the bee. From the blue­berry bogs of Maine to the almond orchards of California, bees are the unsung, unpaid laborers of American agriculture. Honeybees are the glue that holds our agricultural system together, as they pollinate the seeds that ripen into our apples, cucumbers, cranberries, and many other fruits and vegetables in our diet.
