ProLifeCorner – by Frank J. Munda- On November 8, 2016, we Americans will cast our vote in the most decisive election in the history of the United States. In this election we will decide if we are to continue as a republic or freely and openly choose to be ruled by those of the radical left.
Some like to say that Trump is a great unknown; however he is looking like a choir boy compared to Clinton. ( See: Trump makes a contract with America) The past eight years of Obama’s failed policies and Hillary Clinton’s influence in this administration is appalling.
Bill and Hillary Clinton have a legacy of corruption, lies, and cover-ups.. Some people want to turn a blind eye on the failed policies of the Bill and Hillary administration when they were Governor of the state of Alabama, and the eight years of radical anti-life, and failed policies of the Bill and Hillary Presidential administration. We now have the scandal of cover ups between Obama and Hillary e-mail deletions and the countless lies. Starting at the very beginning of the Obama administration he defined veterans and pro-life citizens as terrorists! The same veterans that protected the freedom that helped Obama to rise to power. Now Hillary wants to use the office of the President of the United States to exercise her anti-life, anti-Christian hatred and bigotry. Continue reading →

Judi McLeod is an award-winning journalist from Canada and has over 30 years experience as a journalist. She recently did a piece for the Canada Free Press entitled Praying the ‘God Bless America’ Song.
When I was a young boy growing up in America the song that Judi refers to was made popular by Kate Smith. Many of our young readers today are not familiar with this popular song/prayer. These words were on the lips of many of us who lived through not only the Second World War, but Korea, Vietnam, and the countless other wars in the past.
At the end of Judi’s article I have embedded a film that was made the first time this magnificent song was presented to the public.
A heartfelt thank you to Judi McLeod for doing this piece
“A nation always gets the kind of politicians it deserves. If a time ever comes when the religious Jews, Protestants and Catholics ever have to suffer under a totalitarian state, which would deny to them the right to worship God according to the light of their conscience, it will be because for years they thought it made no difference what kind of people represented them in Congress, and because they abandoned the spiritual in the realm of the temporal.” Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen
ProLifeCorner – 11-20-2015 – by Annarae – These words of Bishop Sheen certainly apply to us today. What has brought our country to this selfish, apathetic state? Let’s look back in history for a few years and see some of the causative factors of our moral decay. Continue reading →
God bless the men and women who served and are serving our country. This is my prayer, not only on this Veterans Day but it should be offered every day. What would our life be like without those who have served? And it isn’t just those who so gallantly served in our Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard; we should also include those who serve us every day as police officers and firefighters.
When honoring those who served where do you start? World War II, Korea, Vietnam? I believe we have to go all the way back to 1776 and honor those courageous men and women who stood up against the tyranny of the British. Then it is a mind boggling journey through all the wars from that moment right on to today with our many present day struggles throughout the world, and especially in the Mideast. Volumes could be written about the dedication of those who served throughout this pain-filled history. Continue reading →
ProLifeCorner.com- Matthew 6: 24-34- “Do not worry about tomorrow; tomorrow will take care of itself. Sufficient for a day is its own evil.”
In today’s gospel, Jesus exhorts us to go about our daily tasks serenely and not to worry uselessly about what happened yesterday or what may happen tomorrow. Our Lord wants us to understand what is important – that which is within our reach – to live in God’s presence and make good use of the present moment. Otherwise, we will not be able to fulfill God’s Will in a particular moment, because we are either looking back on yesterday, which has already passed, or worrying over tomorrow which may never come. By Robert A. Hall- He is a Marine Vietnam veteran who served five terms in the Massachusetts state senate: I’ll be 63 soon. Except for one semester in college when jobs were scarce, and a six-month period when I was between jobs, but job-hunting every day, I’ve worked, hard, since I was 18. Despite some health challenges, I still put in 50-hour weeks, and haven’t called in sick in seven or eight years. I make a good salary, but I didn’t inherit my job or my income, and I worked to get where I am. Given the economy, there’s no retirement in sight, and I’m tired. Very tired. Continue reading →
