O God and Father of the living, to you do we entrust the cause of life. Look down upon the vast numbers of babies not allowed to be born, of the poor whose lives are made difficult, of men and women who are victims of brutal violence, of the elderly and the sick killed by indifference or out of misguided mercy. Grant that all who believe in your Son may proclaim the Gospel of life with honesty and love to the people of our time. Obtain for them the grace to accept that Gospel as a gift ever new, the joy of celebrating it with gratitude throughout their lives, and the courage to bear witness to it resolutely, in order to build, together with all people of good will, a civilization of truth and love, to the praise and glory of God, the Creator and lover of life. Amen.
Jan 4- America, your very future as a nation depends on your willingness to protect the Right to Life of the most defenseless in your society. Join pro-life today.
Jan 11- “There is no cause more important for preserving freedom than affirming the transcendent right to life of all human beings, the right without which no other rights have any meaning.”–Pres. Ronald Reagan
Jan 18- The war on the unborn is never-ending. In the first century it was stated: The difference between the way of life and the way of death is great. Therefore, do not murder a child by abortion or kill a newborn infant. In 1973 America decriminalized abortion and perfected the methods of killing the unborn. Pray to end abortion and euthanasia.
Jan 25- Just because something happens to be legal does not make it moral, ethical or right. Abortion is perhaps one of the most dramatic examples of a situation where something is legal (decriminalized) but is very much a sin against God and against humanity.
Feb 1- Abortion is at the core of the “affordable health care” act. We need affordable health care, but not at the expense of the unborn, the elderly, and the infirm. Pray that our legislators will deliver to us affordable health care without abortion and euthanasia.
Feb 8- If the pro-death forces were not in control of the press, I am convinced that not only would the debate on abortion be over by now. The Pro-Life side would be victorious because we would have seen the pictures every night on television of what is taking place behind the doors of the abortion clinics and hospitals. Pray for an end of abortion and euthanasia.
Feb 15- “Abortion is the only surgery for which the surgeon is not obligated to inform the patient of the possible risks of the procedure, or even the exact nature of the procedure. Indeed, abortion providers are the only medical personnel who have a ‘constitutional right’ to withhold information, even when directly questioned by the patient.”
–David Reardon, Aborted Women: Silent No More
Feb 22- Worldwide, it has been estimated that there have been more than 1.73 BILLION abortions over the last 42 years.. This is a trend that is not lessening but growing exponentially as more countries embrace and legalize abortion. We must pray and work to end abortion and euthanasia
March 1- “Some people argue that changing laws will not eliminate abortions. It is certainly true that a change of heart is more important than a change of law. What is forgotten, however, is that the law is the great teacher. Children grow up believing that if a practice is legal, it must be moral.”–Cardinal John O’Connor
March 8- “Even if abortion were made easy or painless for everyone, it wouldn’t change the bottom-line problem that abortion kills children.” And it destroys God’s plan for that child in this world. It wounds families and the future of our nation.–Randy Alcorn
March 15- Prayer paves the way. Action possesses the land. We must have pro-life action to win the war against the culture of death.
March 22- “… the temptation grows to have recourse to euthanasia, that is, to take control of death and bring it before its time, ending one’s own life or the life of others. In reality, what might seem logical and humane, when looked at more closely is seen to be senseless and inhumane. Here we are faced with one of the more alarming symptoms of the ‘culture of death’.” Please pray to end the culture of death. St. John Paul II
March 29- Many times truth and justice are compromised by the desire to avoid offending anyone! This applies to those of us who may be afraid to speak the truth about abortion. Let us pray for God’s courage to always speak the truth in defending the culture of life.
April 5- He who denies that human life begins with conception does not need to contend with religion, but science. To deny this certainty of biology is not to express a lack of faith, but a lack of basic knowledge of human genetics. Abortion destroys a human life that has great potential.
April 12- Our nation should be bound to repent at once! Let the oppressed be born and admit them to all the rights and privileges of others. God help us to turn from complacency. So many have given up and have run away. Let us run to the fight and end abortion and euthanasia. Join pro-life today..
April 19- “Every time stem cells are obtained from a human embryo, the inner cell mass is destroyed, along with an innocent human person…There is no ethical way to obtain stem cells from a human embryo–and there are no exceptions to this statement.”–Fr. Joseph Howard, Jr., M.Div., Director, American Bioethics Advisory Commission
April 26- We must appreciate the dignity of life in all its seasons, even the path of the elderly in the twilight of their years, to work toward the day when every child, born and unborn, is welcomed to life and protected by law.
May 3- Regarding abortion and euthanasia: “Do all the good you can, by all the means you can, in all the ways you can, in all the places you can, at all the times you can, to all the people you can, as long as ever you can!” John Wesley’s rule for Christian living.
May 10- How easily we can rationalize something: “If a woman plans to terminate her pregnancy, she commonly refers to the life within her as the ‘fetus’. But if she intends to deliver and love and care for the little child, she affectionately calls him ‘my baby’.” Lord, please bring an end to the culture of death.–Dr. James C. Dobson
May 17- Abortion should be listed as a weapon of mass destruction against the voiceless. The TRUE Pro-life citizen does not just wish or hope for an end to abortion, they pray and work for it!
May 24- “Abraham Lincoln recognized that we could not survive as a free land when some men could decide that others were not fit to be free and should therefore be slaves. Likewise, we cannot survive as a free nation when some men decide that others are not fit to live and should be abandoned to abortion or infanticide.” Join the fight to end abortion and euthanasia. President Ronald Reagan
May 31- Whether by pill or invasive surgery, abortion is never good for women. Pray for a healing for all who have had an abortion that they will be open to God’s love and forgiveness.
June 7- “Nothing we do to defend the human person, no matter how small, is ever unfruitful or forgotten. Our actions touch other lives and move other hearts in ways we can never fully understand in this world. Don’t ever underestimate the beauty and power of the witness you give in your pro-life work.” Archbishop Charles Chaput Pray for an end to abortion and euthanasia.
June 14- No matter how many arrows are thrown at you, how much criticism you receive, or how many so-called friends you lose because you’re defending life, it’s all worth it. Continue to fight the culture of death.
June 21- The promises of the Declaration of Independence are not just for the strong, the independent, the healthy. They are for everyone-including unborn children.
June 28- Nearly four thousand innocent lives are taken by surgical abortion each day in this land of the free and home of the brave, whose lady holds high the torch of welcome to human life. What hypocrisy that a nation that welcomed human beings from all over the world now destroys their own preborn citizens.
July 5- “Human rights are not a privilege conferred by government. They are every human being’s entitlement by virtue of his humanity. The right to life does not depend, and must not be contingent, on the pleasure of anyone else, not even a parent or sovereign… you must weep that your own government, at present, seems blind to this truth.”–Mother Teresa of Calcutta
July 12- Do we believe in the Bible? Do we really believe in the Bible? God said “I knew you before you were born”. Every baby aborted is God’s creation sent into this world to be a future priest, pastor, doctor, lawyer, etc. Abortion is saying no to God’s plans for the future of our nation.
July 19- “We are facing an enormous and dramatic clash between the culture of death and the culture of life. We find ourselves in the midst of this conflict. We are all involved and we all share in it, with the inescapable responsibility of choosing to be unconditionally pro-life.” St. John Paul II
July 26- Our sewers run red with the blood of 57.5 million pre-born babies. God judges nations. Blood has a voice and it cries for vengeance. Blood is in hot pursuit of America. It is running in torrents down our streets. No one is safe, no place is secure. Abortion has blinded our eyes. Lord, grant that we will return to the culture of life.
August 2- Prominent defenders of abortion rights publicly admit that abortion kills human beings. There is simply no debate among honest, informed people that abortion kills a distinct human being. We must end abortion and euthanasia now! Our future as a nation depends on it.
August 9- Let us pray for medical personnel who are involved in the destruction of human life through abortion and euthanasia. May they have the courage to turn away from destroying life and return to the practice of protecting and healing all life.
August 16- Be pro-life. The pre-born cannot speak in defense of themselves. The only voice they have is yours. Join pro-life today.
August 23-Many who claim to be Christian have been silent for most of the past 42 years. Worldwide, by our silence, we have betrayed billions of boys and girls to their savage death. When we remain silent about abortion we endorse it.
August 30- Appropriate four letter words for pro-lifers: LOVE-Love the unborn; OBEY-Obey God’s Commandments “Thou shalt not kill”; PRAY-Pray to end abortion and euthanasia; WORK-Join the pro-life movement and work to end abortion and euthanasia; GIVE-Give your support to pro-life organizations; LOOK-Look around you to see what you can do for the pro-life movement.
September 6- “Let me tell you why I believe abortion is the crucial issue of our age. First, because abortion, too, is about living within the truth. The right to life is the foundation of every other human right. If that right is not inviolate, then no right can be guaranteed. Or to put it more bluntly: Homicide is homicide, no matter how small the victim.” Archbishop Charles Chaput Join pro-life today.
September 13- “If a physician presumes to take into consideration in his work whether life has value or not, the consequences are boundless and the physician becomes the most dangerous man in the state.”–Dr. Christoph Hufeland, Germany, 1762-1836. Through abortion on demand, the state has given physicians this power and now they are killing the infirm and elderly.
September 20- There’s a difference between interest and commitment. When you’re interested in doing something, you do it only when it’s convenient. When you’re committed to something, you accept no excuses; only results. Good intentions are not enough; the road to hell is paved with good intentions. Don’t delay. Be committed; join the pro-life movement today.
September 27- The sperm and the egg are alive at conception; they become human life. Any demise after that point, for any reason ends a human life. When human life begins is not a theory, it’s scientific fact. Pray and work to end abortion.
October 4- Conception is the beginning of human life. From the time that an ovum is fertilized a new life begins that is neither that of the father nor of the mother. It is rather the life of a new human being with his/her own humanity. It could never become human if it were not human already. Pray and work to end abortion and euthanasia.
October 11- “The fundamental human right, the presupposition of every other right, is the right to life itself. This is true of life from the moment of conception until its natural end. Abortion, consequently, cannot be a human right — it is the very opposite. It is a deep wound in society.” Pope Benedict XVI Pray to end abortion.
October 18- Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn said: “In keeping silent about evil, in burying it so deep within us that no sign of it appears on the surface, we are implanting it, and it will rise up a thousand fold in the future.” This certainly applies to abortion and euthanasia today.
October 25- To silence faith is to silence the moral conscience of our nation. Our Christian faith is under attack. We must be more courageous in defending Christ and His Church, now more than ever before. We must also defend His precious unborn, infirm, and elderly.
November 1- “When we elect our lawmakers in America, we influence the moral character of this nation for better or for worse. When our laws permit violence against little babies, incidents like the Columbine High School shootings are the logical outcome.” This proves what Mother Teresa said, that if there is no respect for the child in the womb, there will be no respect for any life.
November 8- Why should we speak out against abortion and euthanasia? Because Abraham Lincoln once said: “To sin by silence when they should protest makes cowards of men.” Our silence is giving the culture of death the upper hand. Stand up, speak out, and join pro-life today!
November 15- Regarding abortion: Take sides! Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented. Yours is the only voice the unborn have. Join pro-life today.
November 22- No matter how many arrows are thrown at you, how much criticism you receive, or how many so-called friends you lose because you’re defending life, it’s all worth it. Continue to fight the culture of death.
November 29- As we anticipate the birth of the Christ Child, the Son of God who came into the world to bring His joy, peace, love, mercy, and forgiveness, let us pray for all who have had an abortion or who participated in this practice that they will seek our Lord’s forgiveness and mercy and truly have peace and joy this Christmas.
December 6- Abortion and euthanasia are here now. “Nothing and no one can in any way permit the killing of an innocent human being, whether a fetus or an embryo, an infant or an adult, an old person or one suffering from an incurable disease, or a person who is dying.”. St. John Paul II Pray for the return of the respect of all life.
December 13- If God sent His Son into the world today, how long before an ill-informed friend or doctor would say that child is unwanted-abort him. Thank God for Mary’s yes to His plan. Lord, grant that we will have the same openness to God’s will for us.
December 20- Are we prepared to follow the way of the Lord? Are we willing to follow Mary’s example and say ‘yes’ to God’s will in our lives? God wants to live in our hearts and our souls. He wants to live in us, give us His peace, His love, His mercy. Let us respond as did Mary-let it be done to me according to your Word. Merry Christmas
December 27- When life and family are not treasured and preserved in a society, collapse on all fronts is inevitable. Sadly, this statement applies to America today. Pray for an end to the culture of death.

Dear Pro-Life Friends, We are now in the forty-first year of decriminalized abortion and over a million babies have died since last year. Euthanasia has raised its ugly head and our elderly and infirm are at risk. We are being coerced into paying for abortions through the national health care plan. Our nation has deteriorated at an alarming rate since Roe v Wade was initiated in 1973. If we continue to be apathetic, more citizens, born and unborn will die and we will have to bear the burden of participating, even unwillingly, in their demise. It’s time to speak out against the evils of abortion and euthanasia. Don’t delay, join pro-life today and work and pray to end the carnage. Web: www.ProLifeCorner.com
January 5 – “We have the inescapable responsibility to be unconditionally pro-life… We must not fear being unpopular or even fear hostility and persecution when it comes, even when it comes from within our own Catholic Church.” Pope John Paul II
January 12 – “Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.” He sees what we do and what we do not do to help end abortion. The only voice the preborn have is our own.
January 19 – “We fed the public a line of deceit, dishonesty, a fabrication of statistics and figures. We succeeded because the time was right and the news media cooperated. We sensationalized the effects of illegal abortions, and fabricated polls which indicated that 85 percent of the public favored unrestricted abortion, when we knew it was only 5 percent. We unashamedly lied, and yet our statements were quoted [by the media] as though they had been written in Law.” Dr. Bernard Nathanson, Co-founder of NARAL;
January 26 – It is written in Psalms: “They shed innocent blood, the blood of their sons and their daughters…and the land was polluted with blood…” The innocent blood of our preborn is polluting our land through decriminalized abortion.
February 2 – Christians, like all people of good will, are not to cooperate in any practices, even if permitted by civil law, which are contrary to God’s law. Each individual in fact has a moral responsibility to inform their own individual moral conscience to what is evil and how to fight against it. Abortion is evil. Pope John Paul II
February 9 – Everyone who supported slavery was free. Everyone who supports abortion was born. “Cursed is the one who takes a bribe to slay an innocent person” – Deuteronomy. Think of politicians and all who make money from the slaughter of the preborn.
February 16 – At an abortion clinic: What if there was no one to witness here? What if there was no one to intercede on behalf of the innocent babies moments away from certain death? What if there was no one to warn the mothers of Post Abortion Syndrome? What if there was no one to bring them to repentance and conversion? We must not abandon the babies, mothers, fathers who have participated in their baby’s death.
February 23 – “I was hungry and you did not feed Me, I was thirsty and you did not give Me to drink, I was naked and you did not clothe Me, I was sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.” That is His clear word from divine revelation. On the day of judgment, do you honestly think He will not add: “I was slaughtered in an abortion clinic and you did nothing to rescue Me”?
March 2 – To say you are not called to be a voice in the abolition of abortion is to deny Christ’s command to love our neighbor as ourselves. If you could not walk past a building where you knew children were being molested inside without crying out, then how can you walk past a building where children are being ripped limb from limb without crying out? Stand up; Be a voice; abolish abortion. Bryan Kemper
March 9 – The world will not be destroyed by those who do evil, but by those who watch them without doing anything. Pray and work to end abortion and euthanasia.
March 16 – Preborn children are God-given gifts created in the image of God and are entrusted to parents for their fulfillment to be nurtured in the worship and service of God. Pray that we, as a nation, do not continue to reject these precious gifts through abortion.
March 23 – Regarding euthanasia and abortion: If we sit by and become complacent and put our heads in the sand, then we’re complicit. We must all work together to end the unrelenting attack on life in America.
March 30 – If we are not part of the solution, we are part of the problem. As we sleep and eat with our enemies and patronize entertainment venues that fund this killing giant (Planned Parenthood), the innocent and defenseless babies pay the ultimate price with their lives. On judgment day we will have to give a full account. Join pro-life today.
April 6 – “Nothing we do to defend the human person, no matter how small, is ever unfruitful or forgotten. Our actions touch other lives and move other hearts in ways we can never fully understand in this world. Don’t ever underestimate the beauty and power of the witness you give in your pro-life work.” Archbishop Charles Chaput
April 13 – “Let me tell you why I believe abortion is the crucial issue of our age. First, because abortion, too, is about living within the truth. The right to life is the foundation of every other human right. If that right is not inviolate, then no right can be guaranteed. Or to put it more bluntly: Homicide is homicide, no matter how small the victim.” Most Reverend Charles Chaput
April 20 – “The extermination of millions of preborn children, in the name of the fight against poverty, actually constitutes the destruction of the poorest of all human beings.” Pope Benedict XVI
April 27 – “What society would continue if it declared that it is the right of citizens to kill innocent persons by majority [vote]? In the best scenario it would be converted into a tyranny, against which upright persons would have to react, according to this advice by Gandhi: ‘As soon as one understands that obeying unjust laws is contrary to his dignity as a man, no tyranny can dominate him.’” Most Reverend Francisco Gil Hellin
May 4 – “As bad as the economy is, as bad as the war is, the destruction of innocent human life, especially in the womb, is a greater evil, and correction of this grave evil must take place. Each of us has a role in making this correction in our duties as citizens.” Bishop Samuel J. Aquila
May 11 – If a baby is not safe in his/her mother’s womb, no one is safe anymore. Terror in the womb gives birth to terror in the world. Until we stop abortion, no place in America is safe; not in our homes, schools, malls, or our churches. Pray/work to end abortion now.
May 18 – “I swore never to be silent whenever and wherever human beings endure suffering and humiliation. We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented.” Elie Wiesel. This certainly applies to abortion; the only voice the preborn have is our own.
May 25 – “It (the abortion killing center) represents a place women go and are left confused because they do not hear the truth about abortion and their choices. They are in a sense abused by the medical procedures that are performed without quality medical instructions/information. It’s a tragic place “Abby Johnson,
June 1- The only REAL controversy about abortion and euthanasia is our SILENCE. Silence implies endorsement. The world is a dangerous place, not because of those who do evil, but because of those of us who look on and do nothing! We must speak out against abortion and euthanasia.
June 8 – Be not afraid! Be on fire! God is calling you to do his will.” Pray and work to end abortion and euthanasia.
June 15 – Abortion on demand has got to go, or so goes the U.S. We can see the truth of this statement by just looking at what we have become since 1973. We are but a shadow of what America was just 41 years ago. Abortion on demand is at the root of our problems.
June 22 – Abortion is the “choice” of selfishness, convenience, and murder. It is never the right “choice”.
June 29 – “The fetus, though enclosed in the womb of its mother, is already a human being… If it seems more horrible to kill a man in his own house than in a field, because a man’s house is his place of most secure refuge, it ought surely to be deemed more atrocious to destroy a fetus in the womb before it has come to light.” - John Calvin
July 6 – The right to life is questioned or flat out denied on the basis of majority vote or the so-called rights of women to choose to kill her own child. This is the direct result of a culture of relativism when there is no consequence for bad behavior. Believing that we can do whatever we want without any negative consequence fuels every revolt against God. Pope John Paul II
July 13 – There will be over 3,800 killed in the USA today from abortion; no flags will be lowered, no presidents crying, no media hyperventilating, just a normal day. Abortion on demand has destroyed our moral values and is destroying America.
July 20 – “The real question today is not when human life begins, but, what is the value of human life? The abortionist who reassembles the arms and legs of a tiny baby to make sure all its parts have been torn from its mother’s body can hardly doubt whether it is a human being. The real question for him and for all of us is whether that tiny human life has a God-given right to be protected by the law–the same right we have.” Ronald Reagan
July 27 – The battle rages between virtue and vice, grace and self-will, between good and evil. We are to live UP to the standards of God, not DOWN to the standards of this world. Join the pro-life movement today and help end abortion and euthanasia.
August 3 – “Defend the unborn against abortion even if they persecute you, calumniate you, set traps for you, take you to court, or kill you.” – Pope Francis. It is imperative we stand up and be counted and be watchmen who no longer remain silent; that we take a stand against all evil and moral perversity, especially abortion and euthanasia.
August 10 – Our insanity is showing: An off duty police officer shot an elk while within a residential area. He was suspended and the neighborhood saw the event as a full-blown tragedy, calling for a candlelight vigil. Yet millions of preborn babies are aborted every year and we remain silent.
August 17 – We have suffered with abortion on demand for forty-one years. We must realize that what one generation tolerates, the next generation embraces. This has proved to be so true since we continue to abort babies with little or no remorse. It is true; every day babies die from abortion and as a nation a bit more of our moral conscience dies as well.
August 24 – RU 486? R U crazy? It hurts women and kills babies! Abortion is NOT healthcare. It is the deliberate killing of a human life. It wounds the souls of all who participate in such practices. Pray and work to end abortion now.
August 31 – Would we be more horrified with the death of the preborn if they were slaughtered by guns? We would then witness the horror of the destruction of a pregnancy and not ignore it because abortion is done in secret. A dead baby is still just as dead, regardless of how they are killed.
September 7 – 3800 surgical abortions each day; that’s a 9/11 massacre every day, 365 days a year! How can believers allow this daily carnage in our midst without lifting a finger and stay silent for 41 years? It’s never too late to join pro-life.
September 14 – 41 years of decriminalized abortion is a generation, totaling 57,000,000 dead babies and is a tragic loss to the future of our nation. “The ultimate test of a moral society is the kind of world that it leaves to its children.” Dietrich Bonhoeffer
September 21 – “We are all complicit, every one of us in the sin of abortion. Yesterday, 3,800 babies died, today 3,800 babies will die and tomorrow 3,800 babies will die. What did you do about these babies? We need to wake up every day and ask, what more can I do? Not what can I do, but what more can I do?” Fr. Stephen Imbarrato Every day is another 9/11 in the community of the preborn.
September 28 – To end abortion and euthanasia no sacrifice is too extreme. There is no price that we can attach to a precious life. We must leave this world better than we found it, even if it costs us our lives! Abortion and euthanasia must end now.
October 5 – Lives are saved when God’s faithful sacrifice an hour or two a week to stand for those who have no voice! Unless we are there, (praying at an abortion mill) that innocent child is voiceless and defenseless and moments away from certain death.
October 12 – The war on the pre-born is the only war in which America is involved where the casualties are 100%; the baby always dies. The moms, dads, and close family members suffer physical, mental, and spiritual wounds. Pray to end this holocaust.
October 19 – It’s a nation gone mad. It seems that every crackpot group with an agenda are making claims to alleged rights and are being granted their claims by the courts or by Congress. The only legitimate Constitutional right is the right to life and it is being suppressed and attacked. “It is the right of every pregnant woman to give birth . . . and the right of every child to be born.”
October 26 – Let us pray for all pre-born children that their parents will have the courage to nurture the gift of life within and bring their child up to know God and love Him in this world so that they can be with Him in heaven for all eternity.
November 2 – Let us pray for all women who have lost a child due to SIDS (sudden infant death syndrome,) miscarriage, or abortion. May they find God’s healing peace in the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
November 9 – A reality of war is the MIA (missing in action), those who did not return home. In the war on the pre-born, 57,000,000 human beings are missing in action as well. They, too, did not return home. Those soldiers who did not return from war, and those pre-born who died are all a great loss to our nation and weaken us as a country.
November 16 – Pray for our political leaders that they will promote the culture of life and defend the God- given constitutionally guaranteed right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
November 23 – Please pray for those in danger of abortion. May their parents be open to the new life that God has chosen to give them, no matter the circumstances of conception. Let us pray and work to end abortion
November 30 - Silence is not an option. Complacency today will result in a position of captivity tomorrow. Do your part to help end abortion and euthanasia.
December 7 – Let all of us who profess to be Christian open our hearts to God’s grace, that we will have the courage to speak out in defense of all life, the pre-born, the sick and elderly who are in danger of abortion, and euthanasia. May God have mercy on us.
December 14 – We should know by now, 3800 babies die each day from surgical abortion. But tens of thousands of babies die each day due to chemical abortions, the majority of which are caused by the so-called “pill” which is an abortifacient. Many women on the pill have an abortion early on in their pregnancy and are not even aware of this tragic event.
December 21 – As we celebrate Christ coming into the world as a child let us pray that all women who are pregnant this Christmas season will be open to God’s gift of life so that he/she can be born into this world and thus be able to know Christ and help build His kingdom here on earth.
December 28 – “The only differences between the Herod of old and the Herods of today are in the weapons used and the number of victims. Herod used swords and spears to kill the Holy Innocents. Today’s Herods use abortion, “The Pill” and other chemical weapons; whereas Herod killed a relatively small number of babies, today’s Herods have butchered literally hundreds of millions … with no end in sight!” Msgr. Ignacio Barreiro-Carámbul
