What We Do And Do Not Know About The Pro-Life Bus Fire Bombed In Rockford, IL – (ProLifeCorner.com) – 6-20-2012 – by Rockford Pro-Life Initiative – In the early morning hours of Saturday, June 16, a person or persons unknown broke holes in windows on both sides of a school bus owned by Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Academy. Two fire bombs were thrown inside the bus that is covered with a clear pro-life, pro-Christian message. The ensuing fire melted seats, covered the entire inside of the bus with soot, and caused extensive smoke damage.  After a few days have passed, we know a few things about what happened but still much remains a mystery.We do know the Rockford fire department is conducting an arson investigation. Mike Rotolo, an investigator, is handling the case.

We don’t know if it was a pro-abortion terrorist, an anti-Christian bigot, or someone else who is responsible for the firebombing of the bus.

We do know local pro-abortion supporters have been furious since Rockford’s abortion mill was closed because of the dangerous and unsanitary conditions the State of Illinois found inside.

We don’t know why it took local media days to cover the firebombing of a school bus and possible hate crime. The Register Star did finally write a story about the firebombing but it was buried on page six.

We do know that if it had been a bus that represented the pro-choice or anti-Christian positions, the media would have made it a front page story the very next day.

We don’t know if the bus is a total loss or if it can be repaired.

We do know that if this were a violent act of pro-abortion or anti-Christian terrorism, it has already failed. The Christians of Rockford will never be silent, will never be intimidated, and will never stop proclaiming the kingdom of God.
