What’s Really Going On At Franciscan Health Care?

Rockford, Il – (ProLifeCorner.com) – 4 – 28 –2014 –  by Rockford Pro-Life Initiative –    The administration of Mayo Clinic-Franciscan Healthcare LaCrosse, WI. has made a conscious decision to allow an abortionist on the staff of a Catholic Hospital and to allow doctors under their authority to tell mothers they have the right to kill their babies in the womb.  Why would a “Catholic” hospital participate in and make possible the murder of children like this?

A quick look at the web-site of the religious order that administers the hospital shines the light on this scandalous and deadly situation.

This web-site has absolutely nothing to say about the millions of children murdered by abortion and it especially stays clear of any mention of the babies murdered by the doctors that they have on staff.  But the web-site sure has a lot to say about:

Honoring relationships with and promoting earth as sacred.

Devoting spiritual energies and economic resources to the care of God’s creation.

Nurturing and increasing cosmic awareness and social consciousness.

Sister Moon, Brothers Wind and Air, Brother Fire and Sister Mother Earth.

This religious order spends many hours and huge amounts of money on protecting the “sacred earth”, “nurturing cosmic awareness”, and celebrating “mother earth” while at the same time operating a hospital that promotes and makes possible the mass murder of God’s children by the abortionist they have on staff.

Protecting the environment is a noble and good cause but it loses all meaning when a religious order is so focused on the physical world that they don’t see the horror of their own participation, through their hospital, in the direct and intentional killing of children.

One other fact we know:  The Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration have many holy, kind, generous, and wonderful members.  We respectfully ask them, we beg them, to immediately remove from all their hospital any and all abortionists.

It is a truly Christ like and beautiful thing to love and protect all of God’s creation.

  1. May God have mercy on us. I’ll bet if the spotted owl was in danger by this abortionist he wold be booted out of the hospital today.

  2. My hope for this situation, Divine Mercy.

A — Ask for His Mercy. God wants us to approach Him in prayer constantly, repenting of our sins and asking Him to pour His mercy out upon us and upon the whole world. We should all ask God to help the sisters remove the abortionist.

B — Be merciful. God wants us to receive His mercy and let it flow through us to others. He wants us to extend love and forgiveness to others just as He does to us.
As God has shown mercy to us we must protect these babies from abortion.

C — Completely trust in Jesus. God wants us to know that the graces of His mercy are dependent upon our trust. The more we trust in Jesus, the more we will receive. We must trust God will help end this scandal of a Catholic hospital and the abortionist.

  3. I am afraid that I am not understanding how this could be going on under the guise of a “catholic hospital” run by nuns? Has Pope Francis been informed of this going on in LaCrosse, Wisconsin? If not, why not. What can we do from a distance other than prayer and spreading the word that this is happening? They must have a very warped sense of their mission here on earth. We can take care of the earth and the babies too…all at the same time.

  4. The former prelate of the Lacrosse Diocesse must be notified asap. Cardinal Burke would be distressed were he to learn such silliness had taken over ANY diocese — and even more for a spot lilke Lacrosse — which is in my own home territory. Sadly, one should have seen this defection coming from the Franciscan Sisters.

  5. Sorry folks, the truth is the Bishops have no desire for a fight. Remember Cardinal Dolan is directly paying for abortion in the NY Archdiocese through their insurance program.

It would require faith and courage for something to be done by our Bishops about this………nothing will be done.
