ProLifeCorner.com- From Our Pastor-Marriage has been under attack throughout the world. As Catholics and Christians we feel the oppression of the world telling us what to believe, or else. I could point out to you all the organizations like, the National Organization of Women (NOW), Planned Parenthood, NARAL and ACLU to name but a few that put as much energy and money as possible to eradicate Christianity from the earth.

I could get in to all the lies and propaganda they use. They did not have much power years back, but something has happened that allows them to have such authority in our society. How did they get this authority?

We Catholics have listened to them and their propaganda. It was the atheists cause to promote smaller families by contracepting. It was their banner that pushed the legalization of abortion. It was the anti Christians who promote euthanasia (the selected killing of those who are of no use to society). It is their brutality that says they will clone, prey on aborted fetuses for their scientific studies and products, that sells us ways to discard babies that are “difficult” and would be a “burden” to society and outright mocking of marriage and intolerance of the Christian knowledge of it.

As Christians, we have accepted contraception because we want it our way, or out of fear. We accepted abortion because we must when the contraception fails-Many succumb to euthanasia to the same sales gimmick Hitler used, false compassion. We allow the mad scientists cloning because we want perfect health derived from their studies. We turn our head and ignore Embryonic Stem Cell research in hope of a miracle that will never come from it; a base of empty lies (Different than Adult Stem Cell Research). Besides, if it is not of God, it is not a miracle. Some of us bury our head in the sand when a mother after an amniocentesis test is offered the suggestion of terminating the life of a baby that can save us from an “undue burden”.

Ironically, we blame the Germans for what was discovered there after WWII. The Germans succumbed to the lies little by little. They turned their heads from many of the some doings we do. I wonder what people will say 50 or maybe 1 00 years from now. Pius the XXII stood strong against such an atrocity. Time is clearing the fog of the lies spread about his complacency. He stood as a solid rock against Hitler. The Catholics at that time were known to be supportive of the Jews. They followed the Pope and did what they could. Will society 1 00 years from now be able to say the same thing for you?

It is time to relearn our history, take back our faith and our country. It is time we learn the truth, not the propaganda. It is time we embrace our faith in its fullness. Take courage and follow our Lord Jesus. As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. Will you serve Him with Me? To clear up the mess, it must start here with these issues.
